The salon itself is nice and I love the covid protocols in place. I REALLY wanted to like this place because my friend's nails have looked wonderful when she's gone for dip. I went for the first time and did not have a good experience. The man working the counter (also my nail tech) rushed me through the paperwork and checkin in process and then over to a seat. Where I was given less than 5 minutes to pick out a color. When I told him I didn't know what color yet, he stated "give me one hand". I felt rushed and said the next color I saw (which I'm not in love with). He did ask that I tell him if the pressure was too much or he was hurting me. He gave me no communication on hand movement and instead kept jerking my hand over and over again, squeezing, moving and pulling in different directions. I ended up with several cut cuticles powder underneath my nails making the mail stick to the skin, clear coating around my nail bed, jagged edges not filed down and uneven thickness across my nails. I really wanted to like this place and maybe I'll give it another shot but never again with him. read more

I went in for a polish change. I waited 20 ish minutes. My request was for shellac instead of regular polish. Let me say I did not have a pedicure just a polish change. The lady did a good job once she did the work but when I went to check out she told me it was $30 for a polish change. A regular pedicure is $25. I had a POLISH change. Then she asked question to someone there and they dropped the price to $25. Ok ... I didn't have a pedicure I'm smiling because someone else came and said a polish change is $8 plus $15 for shellac . I had the worst experience! First of all, "everyone" must wear a mask. I don't have a problem with that, what I have a problem with is letting other "white" clients just all in and not request mask! Besides that I had a horrible shellac manicure, I didn't get a massage or lotion everything was just half way done. I was rushed by the owner, he didn't even know if I was completely done. While she finished up on her client, I chose my shellac nail color and enjoyed the soft, relaxing music. I was beyond happy with the $30 shellac manicure Vickie gave me! I have always had issues with my dry cuticles and she was able to repair them! I already know that it takes a special kind of person to get fix them - someone who is patient and meticulous! I've been here twice. I've waxed my eyebrows both times and had a shellac and pedicure. The pedicure was good. They have different options but I wen with the cheapest one. It's been about 3 weeks and my toenail polish has not chipped at all. My shellac manicure lasted exactly 2 weeks before it started peeling off. I'm not a fan of the eyebrow waxing but it's so convenient for me to go here that I just go ahead and do it. I got the mani and pedi on the 10th- it is now the 26th. She was trimming my cuticles and not paying attention and chopped a chunk out of my big toe. No apology. I gasped so loud that the ENTIRE salon turned and looked at me like I was crazy! It bled. Still, no apology. She continues with the pedicure and then on my other foot filed too deep on the heel that she hurt me there! I finished the pedicure, let my toes dry where I was basically told that my time at the dryer was up prior to my toes being dry, and left. Went home grocery shopping and then home to midtown, and guess what- there was blood in my shoe when I got home. Probably the worst manicure I've ever received. The man who greeted me at the front, not sure what his name was, did my dip powder set. The whole time he was very aggressive and kept pulling on my hands and forcing them into uncomfortable positions. Then repeatedly throughout my service he kept hurting me and actually cut me twice. Once the manicure was over I could see multiple imperfections and my nails are ,in my opinion, very unpleasant looking (probably from the SEVEN layers of dip powder.) I just left from getting my nails done by Jessica and I tell you not only are they amazing and fast they are very very great with customer service I went in pulled in before the time they open they don't open till 9:30 however I pulled in at 9:15 and they took me automatically and open the door for me on top of that I showed Jessica a picture of how I wanted my nails and two of them assisted me to make sure I found the correct color that was on the picture as well as the glitter that I want it and she matched the picture that I showed her to the T not only that they give great reward cards they're very sweet people and they have my business for a lifetime I will continue to keep going back and if it wasn't raining today I probably would have got my feet done as well thank you ladies for a job well done read more

Wow! This salon is above and beyond my normal nail salon experience... At a great value too! My first test of a great salon is if they can paint without going into the cuticle- you know so that that awful ridge develops and then chips from the bottom... Paris Nail Salon passed with flying colors. It's been almost a week and it looks like they painted just low enough to cover the entire nail but NOT into the cuticle. Second, they were just nice. Like genuinely nice. I felt welcomed and like a valued customer. I can't quite put my finger on it, but I really enjoyed the attitudes of the staff. Next, ambiance... You'd never know from the street but inside this place looks really put together and relaxing. All the furniture and furnishings are pretty new and they have a French spa sorta feel. And lastly... TEACHER DISCOUNT! 10% off their already reasonable rates. Apparently 10% off on your birthday too. There is also a punch card reward system ("for every 10 purchases of $35+ get a free classic pedicure). Nice, right? I've been to low and and high end salons in Houston and Austin and I've got to say this is my new favorite. My nails look great! read more

This place is a joke. When I think of Paris nails my eyes roll so far back into my head. I've been here plenty of times before and they only do a mediocre job at best. I come back sometimes because it's very close to my house when I am busy it is convenient. Today was the worst experience. I told them I wanted a mani and pedi. Ordered a more expensive than basic pedi that is supposed to last for 45 min. Was done in 25. Then they proceeded to ignore me for 30 minutes while continuing to help other costumers that came in after me. I'm so done with this place. Of course after I told them I no longer wanted to proceed with a mani they came running to my side to help me. Lol bye. Worst pedicure I've ever had. She spent about a half a second on each toe. Didn't push cuticle back. Didn't clean under the nail. Definitely did not exfoliate anything on my feet.
