Great food, great service. Bomb Chinese donuts. Best in town. Good ambiance. A must try

I came here because it was close to my apartment. The prices are right for what you get. Honestly it wasn't super fresh Chinese food but it definitely hit the spot. I'll probably wouldn't come back here.

Weird. My original review was up for a few years with no problem but then it got taken down. So I'll try again with a new review: This is greasy, tasty Chinese food of the type that is kind of scary. Everything is soaked in oil and there is no subtlety to its flavor. You want orange chicken? You'll get super sugary orange flavor bombs. You want coconut breaded shrimp? You'll get coconut flavoring infused breaded shrimp. You want lo mein? You'll get lo mein that you can feel harden your arteries. I always order take out because most of the people that I see eating here remind me of my parents - violent and scraggly af. My original review: The self-destructive nature of humans manifests itself in many ways: war, drug addiction, betrayal of loved ones, famine, violence, electing a billionaire blowhard over a female intellectual powerhouse because she wears pants etc. I eat at Park Blvd Chinese about once a week. http://makeagif.com/u5RYpj

Now this place always have people loitering outside the entrance, I see it every time I've passed by. It can feel a little intimidating to park in front of this shop but every time I've done it, I don't ever get messed with. And also, there's rarely ever parking, you have to put your hazards on at the red curb in front of the fire hydrant. I stopped by for a quick bite and ordered a two item combination plate. Also some crispy crunch too. I mean, the food isn't bad. You get what you pay for. Priced well for okay Chinese food. If I'm in the area wanting fast service, I wouldn't mind coming back at all.

The food is cold, bad customer service, construction around the building, shower curtain where the food is being served,

They offer three different marinades/seasoning options and I strongly recommend Marinado Estilo Acapulco. Both chicken and pork ribs were very tender with smokey flavours and amazing seasonings. It is not too spicy and you can taste a hint ot chili powder and other ingredients in their seasonings. Their portion is huge and one full order can easily satisfy 3-4 people. The staff were very friendly when I came to pick up the order. They have small indoor and outdoor seatings for dine-in and have a private parking space for customers. Try this place for their amazing Acapulco style chicken and pork ribs.

The ribs are meaty and we chose bbq sauce which gave it a traditional flavor but you could taste the good seasoning under the sauce. The chicken was cooked well done which I appreciate- the Acapulco sauce was tangy with a little kick of spice- just delicious. The rice was also so tasty and perfectly prepared. Beans a bit underwhelming- corn tortillas standard. I loved the green sauce with a freshness and complexity. There was a little wait but the server was on top of every order and kept us updated. This spot deserves much recognition!

Disturbing lack of ADA and psychiatric service animal awareness. I had an upsetting and humiliating…read moreexperience here involving my psychiatric service animal. When I entered the restaurant around 7:00 PM, I was stopped and questioned extensively by security regarding my service animal. Rather than being asked the limited ADA-compliant questions permitted by law, the interaction became prolonged and uncomfortable while staff repeatedly attempted to determine whether my dog was a "real" service animal or simply an emotional support animal. I remained waiting at the entrance while this was repeatedly discussed back and forth. What made the situation especially humiliating was that another patron openly laughed at me during the interaction while walking outside for a cigarette. I later realized this same patron had her own dog inside the establishment in a stroller the entire time. Staff members appeared very familiar and comfortable with her, and multiple employees, including my waitress- referred to her as a "regular." Although her dog was eventually moved to the patio area, the contrast in how the situations were handled made me feel singled out, embarrassed, and unfairly scrutinized. I later spoke with management in hopes of resolving the matter respectfully. During that conversation, I was surprised and concerned to hear that neither management nor staff were familiar with psychiatric service animals or their protections under the ADA. Psychiatric service animals are legally recognized service animals when trained to perform disability-related tasks, and this lack of awareness was deeply concerning, especially in a city like San Diego with a large disabled and veteran community. I fully understand that businesses are allowed to ask limited ADA-compliant questions regarding service animals, and I also understand that many establishments have dealt with individuals falsely claiming pets as service animals. However, there is a significant difference between appropriately verifying a service animal and making a disabled customer feel publicly interrogated and humiliated. The overall handling of this interaction lacked professionalism, sensitivity, and basic understanding of ADA service animal protections. No customer should feel mocked, scrutinized, or publicly embarrassed simply for entering a restaurant with a legitimate service animal. I sincerely hope this situation can serve as an opportunity for additional ADA education and proper service animal training for staff moving forward so that other disabled guests do not experience similar treatment. I would appreciate being informed of any steps the restaurant intends to take regarding ADA compliance and staff training before I determine how I would like to proceed further. Thank you for your time and attention.

I had a 15 minute walk. Was greeted by a smile and a hello. I was given my food and left. Got the side of eggs w a waffle and chicken and everything was amazing especially the coconut syrup. It was filling , a good deal and the eggs reminded me of my when my dad used to cook for me as a kid. I will be back but I wouldn't eat there bc the area on C street was very sketchy w the ppl that were around. It's close to public transportation and a kinkos and Ross so you could kill two birds but just be mindful of that.

High quality ingredients, Meh Tastefulness…read more I always check Yelp and Google before trying a new place, so seeing consistent 4.4+ ratings definitely had me excited. While my experience didn't quite match the hype, I can absolutely understand why this family-owned restaurant has built such a loyal following. Let me preface this by saying I consider myself a bit of a waffle connoisseur...and a fried chicken connoisseur. First, customer service was gracious and excellent. "C" street downtown stinks. But business is business. The eatery is clean, tidy and simplistic decor. I ordered the chicken and waffle sandwich, fries, greens, and the coconut syrup. The flavor is not better than Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles. But the quality of food is. Halal. Enough said. The waffle: I liked how one side was flattened while the other kept the classic waffle pockets. It was soft, moist, lightly crisp, and not as sweet as most waffles. I added delicious old-fashioned maple syrup from home. The chicken: The chicken had a beautiful golden crust, and the white meat was juicy. My only suggestion would be to marinate the chicken itself before it gets breaded. A flavorful coating can only do so much, and I think that one small change would take it to another level. The fries? They were fantastic. No notes. The greens: I also ordered the greens. I haven't eaten pork with greens in probably 20 years, so I'm used to greens with smoked turkey or no meat at all. These were made with halal bacon, which I appreciate, but they were a little too salty, rich, and fatty for my taste. They only had one serving left, so I may have gotten the bottom of the pan where all the flavorful bits settled. I'd be willing to give them another try. The syrup: Then there was the coconut syrup. The only coconut I usually use is on my hair and skin...okay, and occasionally in a really good coconut margarita. So this one just wasn't my jam. That said, a family member loved it. If coconut is your thing, I think you'll really enjoy it because it's unique and well executed. I could tell this food is made with care, and that matters. This just wasn't the flavor profile I personally look for in chicken and waffles. If I were already downtown and someone said, "Let's eat here," I would choose something. Would I put it in my personal top five chicken-and-waffle spots in San Diego? Probably not. But I would absolutely recommend giving this local family business a try and deciding for yourself. "Supporting good people who care about what they serve is always worth it."
