Great food, great service. Bomb Chinese donuts. Best in town. Good ambiance. A must try

I came here because it was close to my apartment. The prices are right for what you get. Honestly it wasn't super fresh Chinese food but it definitely hit the spot. I'll probably wouldn't come back here.

Weird. My original review was up for a few years with no problem but then it got taken down. So I'll try again with a new review: This is greasy, tasty Chinese food of the type that is kind of scary. Everything is soaked in oil and there is no subtlety to its flavor. You want orange chicken? You'll get super sugary orange flavor bombs. You want coconut breaded shrimp? You'll get coconut flavoring infused breaded shrimp. You want lo mein? You'll get lo mein that you can feel harden your arteries. I always order take out because most of the people that I see eating here remind me of my parents - violent and scraggly af. My original review: The self-destructive nature of humans manifests itself in many ways: war, drug addiction, betrayal of loved ones, famine, violence, electing a billionaire blowhard over a female intellectual powerhouse because she wears pants etc. I eat at Park Blvd Chinese about once a week. http://makeagif.com/u5RYpj

Now this place always have people loitering outside the entrance, I see it every time I've passed by. It can feel a little intimidating to park in front of this shop but every time I've done it, I don't ever get messed with. And also, there's rarely ever parking, you have to put your hazards on at the red curb in front of the fire hydrant. I stopped by for a quick bite and ordered a two item combination plate. Also some crispy crunch too. I mean, the food isn't bad. You get what you pay for. Priced well for okay Chinese food. If I'm in the area wanting fast service, I wouldn't mind coming back at all.

The food is cold, bad customer service, construction around the building, shower curtain where the food is being served,

Tacos El Gordo continues to be one of my favorite taco places of all time. I found out that…read moreMexico City was the place that originated al pastor tacos as they were inspired by Lebanese immigrants who brought Shawarma to Mexico; however, I appreciate that it worked its way to Tijuana and SD through Gordo. Gordo's adobada can compare favorably to al pastor anywhere; however, my experience at this "Gordo" location in Gaslamp has been inconsistent compared to Chula Vista and Vegas locations, due to their higher volume. The smaller space also has less seating, which is a bummer if you are coming here on a busy comic con day. The adobada here, though, is the taco to get. Consider yourself lucky if you get a nice portion of crispy and burnt bits as they offer nice textural bites. Their sauces/salsas are also equally good, and it sets it above and beyond another taquero from Tijuana, Tacos El Franc. Don't shy away from their asada tacos either, as the meat has a nice kiss of charcoal and it's topped with a generous portion of guac. I don't love that prices have gone up to almost $5/taco; however, I'll gladly pay it if they can give me my favorite taco.

There were other customers helping me and directing me to the right lines. MULTIPLE LINES. There is barely any organization to the system of ordering and receiving food - and don't even get me started on the chaos of it all. The store employees were just as disgruntled and stressed as I was. I had ordered an adobada taco since that was the very first line. I gave up trying to get my lengua taco because I had no idea that I was supposed to receive it first before I received my fries (after paying). If my review is confusing, it's because it really was confusing during my visit here. But that's not all. There were upstairs seating available, but NO AIR WAS AVAILABLE. It was unbearable to sit in that heat and eat comfortably in that kind of environment. I felt so nauseous during and after my visit at this location. I don't even remember how my one taco tasted.. Even later, when I threw it up later that night.. Will not go back to this location, but am willing to check out other locations.

Food wasn't anything crazy, like the decor. Was crazy good though, if you really want to add crazy to that part of the review. The burger was cooked to perfection and full of fresh ingredients that made my tastebuds happy! The onion rings were also cooked to a nice crispy, golden brown. Don't need to order the big burger unless sharing with someone else or if you are super hungry. The small portion filled me full. Definitely recommend if in the area.!

Its San Diego time again!…read more I have been to the original Hodad's in Ocean Beach, so during a staycay in the San Diego Gaslamp, I said I gotta hit up this location on Broadway. The portions are big and the quality of the food is very good. The breading and seasoning on the chicken was tasty AF. Secondarily, the burgers are 1/4 lb and a single is plenty for a normal person. Lastly, the rings were thicc and GBD. Unfortunately, we sat in traffic for 3 hrs from OC, when it normally takes 1 1/2 hrs: We were really hungry, and Hodads met our needs. Regarding the ambiance, its a bit grunge but np for me. The name has a whole lot of nostalgia in SD. The service was friendly & warm. Our food came out quickly. The only downside was the chicken & rings needed some kinda sauce, but otherwise everything else was great. Would def return the next time I am in the area.

The menu was a bit confusing, but I know that I like grilled veggies and Greek salad and then Ike was able to pick my protein that I wanted so that seemed easy enough. The base price with falafel or chicken Shawarma was Close to $16 but since I chose the meat, they added two dollars to my total. It took about 10 minutes for them to assemble my meal, but my veggies were cooked fresh on the stove, which was really nice. They tasted very freshly cooked just as they would as if I had cooked them myself at home. I was there about 1245 on a Monday and there were a few people there and they had some takeout orders so my order took about 10 minutes before I could walk out the door with it. They had a nice condiment bar where you could pick out some yogurt with dill sauce and then they're famous garlic yogurt sauce, as well as a jalapeño sauce And another spicy hot one that I would never try. When I got back to the jury room to eat my meal, I saw that there was a nice quantity of the fresh salad and the grilled vegetables but the meat was piled high! The employees were working efficiently and the place was spotless and orderly.
