Great great lamb burger. The lamb was well seasoned, came with arugula(I'm pretty sure), tomatoes, and a sort of aioli. The aioli wasn't too heavy which was nice and complemented the burger very well. The burger wasn't too over filling but it definitely made me quite full. The inside was a little dark and so I enjoyed how they have a few tables (3) outside to enjoy the nice weather. Only downside; is a bit pricey, and burgers do not come with fries. We ordered a basket of sweet potato fries on the side, and that was plenty enough for 2. Sweet potato fries were amazing! crispy, and the way they should be! Went for lunch with a few co workers. These burgers are huge!!! The basket or rings and fries are HUGE!!! We got the Duke burger which was perfection, bacon and cheese, and just a plain burger. We also got a basket of fries and onion rings and a strawberry milk shake. Everything was GREAT. The fries are amazing. I would probably get them plain next time as they are perfectly crisped. Felt like burgers today so my husband and I decided to try something new. I did not look at the reviews before hand aside from 3.5 star rating with 400+. Ordered the MANASSA MAULER and the PORK BLVD with a chocolate shake to share. Everything was delicious and we will definitely be back. Good neighborhood spot for families...evidenced by all the kids in this place. The shakes were outstanding (I had strawberry cheesecake). The burger was tasty and is cooked to order served on a fresh roll that is slightly too much bread per burger. My preference is not to have so much bread--so I usually discard half. They have a burger that is totally wrapped on lettuce that I get frequently. My daughter (13 yo) always gets the chili-dog which is large portion that fills her up. Good spot that pleases everyone. Got my burger fix at Park Burger today. The meat itself was very good and there was a lot to be proud of there. The burgers were cooked well, the buns were tasty and stood up to the meat, the food came out hot, the combo basket of french fries (with their crispy little skins on 'em), sweet potato fries, and onion rings were a perfect shareable items (once I added a little salt). This place is not cheap, the menu is pretty basic, but if you stop by after watching the A's win you will be glad you passed on the ballpark food and waited for a hot, fresh, pretty high quality burger; I think you can taste the difference. The food is divine! I am so happy I can get a really great grass fed burger so close to where I live. The pickled onions that are served on request are to die for. The burger was cooked perfectly, and the onion rings were some of the best I've had. Service was great, and we got to eat outside on a really beautiful day in a very beautiful neighborhood. Win win all around. The only reason they don't get five stars is that the acoustics inside are way too good (ear splitting with screaming children). They need to put some carpeting or some other material that will absorb sound inside. I found the chairs to be very uncomfortable. I am not narrow enough (and I'm not a super huge person) to fit my whole body in between the back curve of the chair, so I had to sit on the edge of my chair to eat. Need new chairs people. Amazing burger but really pricey since it doesn't come with sides or a drink. I ordered The Godfather which is a beef patty topped with pastrami and as simple as that sounds, it was one of the best burgers i've had. Juicy, succulent, and cooked just right. These burgers were the perfect first meal especially after an 8 hour bus ride from LA to SF. The buns looked great as well even after soaking up the drippings of the meat which was terrific. I also added the dijon mustard on the side and it was perfect. One of the best burgers i've tried in my life and I will definitely come try it again when i'm back in town. I am gluten and dairy intolerant (not preferences or choices) and don't eat meat (by choice).This is one of the few places that offers options that satisfyingly help me avoid all three. But it's really expensive. For example, a vegan, gluten free cheeseburger costs $19.50 by itself. Add fries and I usually spend about $28 incl. tip, but no beverage. So my experience today was particularly frustrating. Yelp won't let me tell the WHOLE story, but here are the lowlights: I was given a normal bun instead of a gluten free bun. Consuming a whole normal bun will make me violently ill. Didn't notice until I had already driven home and taken (luckily only) two bites. I called. A lot of things happened on this call that were massive red flags, but in short, I let them know that I have a gluten intolerance and was concerned because I had eaten some of the bun. I asked if I could bring what I had back and if they could just be re-make the order correctly. I was told that they were "pretty sure" they had given me the correct bun. I'm not clear how one can make that determination over the phone, but found it alarming that the default immediate response was NOT to err on the side of caution and remake the order but instead to invite me in so they could show me their different burger buns. Wasn't really interested in that and had to ask twice if I could just bring my order back and pickup a new one. Finally they agreed to remake the order and told me to come back. Despite it taking me 20 minutes to get back they hadn't made a new order. Instead when I walked in, the person in charge had someone hand her a vegan bun and gf bun to show me and compare my burger bun against. Big detail: the gluten free buns that PB uses are very light in color, almost white and have a very specific texture that is firmer than a normal bun - which is why I noticed what I had was wrong in the first place. The bun I received was brown and soft (like the vegan one) and dusted with flour. Their gf buns are not dusted with flour. Even looking at the buns side-by-side along with the bun I got and it being glaringly apparent that I did NOT get a gf bun, she doubled down and insisted that I had a gf bun but mine was "just really brown". Apparently it was so brown that it looked EXACTLY like a vegan bun, texture, flour dust and all, and nothing like a gf bun. She said the flour dust on the bun I had was "because the gf buns come from a bakery" and they had no control over what color the gf buns were but sometimes they were different colors. I calmly explained that PB is the ONLY place I have been ordering burgers with gf buns from since at least 2018 if not earlier. I KNOW what their gf buns are supposed to be like and had never, ever received one with the color and texture that I got today. Instead of acknowledging this and just remaking the order (like she had agreed to do over the phone) she started to walk away, satisfied with whatever "explanation" she felt like she had just given me. I had to ask AGAIN for the order to be re-made not only for safety's sake but at this point it had been 45+ minutes from the time I had picked up the first order, gotten home, called them, drove back, and sat through the hamburger bun show-and-tell and now my barely eaten original order was cold. She begrudgingly agreed to make a new burger but refused to make new fries AND implied that she was doing me a favor by even remaking the burger "because it wasn't their fault and the fries have nothing to do with this". Again, it WAS their fault. Also, it would have been a courteous gesture to re-do the fries as well, considering that I had now driven back to the restaurant because I was CONCERNED. Not unhappy, not dissatisfied but CONCERNED. I didn't want to risk getting sick and just wanted to enjoy a full, hot meal, fries included. It would have cost her $4 to keep my business. That's the price of fries, and that was my final straw. Yes, I could have paid ANOTHER $4 but again, wrong bun, weird phone call, driving there twice, multiple requests for remake, etc. Even if it hadn't been their fault (it was), it simply comes down to understanding that customers with dietary sensitivities can suffer painful and sometimes dangerous consequences if their order is wrong. Best practice is to err on the side of caution to protect your customers AND give them peace of mind about not getting sick. I steer clear of places that are either lacking information about or insensitive and flippant towards customers with food restrictions. I'm not going to suffer through a week or more of painful symptoms just because a server or staff member hasn't been trained, doesn't care or doesn't believe me, or in this case puts a need to be right above a customer's safety. I've never had an issue with PB until today, but I won't be going back. This literally could have been solved immediately by just starting over to be safe and spending $4 to keep another few YEARS of business. read more

The grilled onions seemed more like something that had been strained from some leftover French onion soup. The meat, mushrooms, and cheeses were decidedly average. The onions left both of the burgers in their takeaway containers as a soggy mess, with the bottom bun completely soaked in liquid. We had an order of sweet potato fries and an order of garlic fries. Both were fine, but not worth their price, in our opinion. For us, this will be a "one and done" visit. We felt the food wasn't worth anything close to the 40+ USD tab (with tax, before tip), and that there are better choices nearby. read more

These folks have the best onion rings in creation. I would travel more than a thousand miles--again--to eat those rings. The burgers are great, too. My vegetarian pal had an Impossible burger, and I had the cheeseburger with the house-pickled red onions. (Again with the onion magic: what is it with you people? We split the basket of Various Fried Things, where I had my first encounter with the onion rings.
