There's a bit of a wait but this is definitely worth it. Friendly staff, good service, really lovely area next to the Wigwam. We split the breakfast burrito and the cinnamon swirl French toast, more than enough for two. Scrambled eggs in the burrito were moist but not wet, perfectly done. The salsa is the liquid variety, spicy but not too hot. We overheard one of the servers telling another table it's from the Old Pueblo Cafe next door. The French toast was also very nicely cooked, but the syrup was not real cane syrup, my only disappointment. The potatoes are the best! Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Situated across the street from the Wigwam Resort, Park Cafe is a nice, off-site alternative to the dining at the resort. The coffee was hot and bottomless and the staff was very nice and attentive. On a nice day, which is pretty much any day outside of summer, there's lot's of direct sun protected seating options outside to take in the day. In terms of food, I opted for the Lady Litchfield Omelette ($16) which topped with avocado, roasted tomatoes and sour cream, was pretty good. Of course you get your option of sides including fruit or potatoes along with toast in various forms of your choosing. We've been talking about trying this place out for breakfast for years. But every time we go. It's super busy and the wait is long. We finally got a table. This restaurant is so small. All the tables are right on top of each other. Then we order food. I got 2 runny eggs with a side of burnt bacon and warm "fresh cut" fruit. My wife ordered the Chilaquiles "chips with salsa on top* both horrible plates. Our server had long earrings hanging off his ears and all the employees had a cellphone in their back pocket. I didn't like the vibe or the atmosphere and we both agreed that the Old Pueblo and Papa Paul's are a way better option than this place. My pancakes tasted like sh.. too. This place is run by young kids because I didn't see one adult working there. No thanks. You won't see us again. read more

We've been regulars at Park Cafe for nearly six years. This morning was disappointing. We sat at the bar (the only customers there) and were ignored for about six minutes by the four people working behind it. When I politely asked for menus, a staff member told us the hostess is supposed to seat bar guests and then argued with me when I said we usually seat ourselves if no one is present. He repeatedly insisted "it's always been that way" and refused to take our request seriously. After being spoken to dismissively and made to feel wrong for how we've always visited, we left without ordering. It's sad to see this change in service -- if Park Cafe continues treating long-time locals this way, they risk losing regulars to the many new great brunch options nearby in Goodyear. Park Cafe staffing super friendly and very accommodating. Plenty of parking spot and love that they have misters and fans outside. My son and his Baseball team came here for breakfast and it was super delicious. We really enjoyed everything. Chilaquiles chips were still crunchy and so good. Banana pancakes was so tasty and it was like eating banana bread- one of my favorite. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Everything we had was so good, but the salted caramel banana pancakes were truly the best I've ever had in my life, to die for! It's tucked away on a beautiful neighborhood/country club street, which made the whole experience even more relaxing and special. It's been a while but I really enjoy this café during the spring when it's possible to sit outside, enjoy breakfast and people watch. They have a wonderful menu and my favorite it the French toast with fresh berries and powdered sugar . They do have a few tables if you want to eat inside, I prefer outside. Saw the article on Arizona Highway. It is a drive there from Peoria but I thought it would make a good outing. It has a a nice cosy feel. The employees are extremely nice. Looking around it seemed a lot of the people there were probably local regulars. My friend got the pancakes with bananas. Wow looked enough for two or more people. He said it was very good. My wife got the cinnamon french toast. Also a great hit with here. Both needed take out as they could not eat it all there. I was less adventurous. I got their burger. It was good and cooked exactly the way I wanted. I would like to come several times again. Just a drive. I am sure there will be a return. read more

From out of town , had the Chorizo Huevos rancheros , absolutely phenomenal. Also ordered carne asada fries and they forgot the asada, they obviously added the asada and without asking they took the plate off our bill . Implying the waitressing is great as well . All other plates incredible as well any no wait at all on Sunday morning at 11:00 . Do yourself a favor and come here. As soon as we got to Arizona, I was told there was a bomb chilaquiles spot we had to try. I'm always on the hunt for a nice plate of chilaquiles, so off we went. I had read plenty of reviews that said "prepare to wait". We went at around 11 am on a Sunday and were seated within 10 minutes. I'm sure that's not always the case, but we also called ahead to check. We sat at the bar inside which was great on a blazing hot day. Between the two of us we split a plate of chilaquiles with steak and black beans as well as the cinnamon roll french toast with bananas. Both were absolutely incredible. The chilaquiles were still crunchy, and the sauce had good flavor. There could've been a hair more sauce but not worth complaining about. The french toast had a nice crust on the outside which is my absolute favorite. Definitely would love to come back at some point to try other items. read more

I had the Mexicano espresso, and their birria chilaquiles, my husband had one of their other specials and he had the spicy Clamato beers- I'm drawing a blank. He claims his are better lol... but overall service was great, food came quite quickly and everything was delicious!!! I can't wait to go back!!! Worth the wait if you go on a weekend during brunch!!! Also we loved sitting out on the patio! Patio seating on a gorgeous AM, is the best! First time here - busy little place with a nice outdoor setting. Service was fine and my food was okay, perhaps I ordered the wrong thing. I had the portobello mushroom panini...a little too tart. One friend had the patty melt and said it was okay. My other friend had the ceviche and said it was delicious. Passable, nothing special, kind of pricey. Coffee was good and they had heavy whipping cream which is a plus. The "Kendra's Pancakes" were hearty and good, could only eat half. The syrup is the cheap thick stuff...definitely could use an upgrade there. Costco sells a pound of bacon, about 16 slices, for 4 bucks. Park Cafe sells 3 slices for 5 bucks, approximately the same quality. Not a great value (high price, medium quality, low quantity). Scrambled eggs...maybe 2? Looked and tasted like from a bag. OMG if there were ****** stars available, this restaurant would have my vote. We are in the Avondale, AZ area for MH repairs and stumbled upon this STAR for breakfast. It was so outstanding, we had to come back a few days later to sample the breakfast menu again and we certainly were not let down. Service staff are very friendly and this place was hopping on both mornings when we arrived at 8:00 AM opening (Wednesday and then Friday). There was a short line of 3-4 tables ahead of us both visits. We were seated in less than 5 minutes. In the hour we were there the restaurant was packed full, so plan accordingly. Now on to the fun part! First visit food: Inside dining First meal was the breakfast special for the day of a Wet Burrito. It consisted of skirt steak, avocado slices, strips of poblano peppers and then smothered in a FANTASTIC slightly spicy red sauce with goat cheese sprinkles and finished with cilantro. The portion size was probably 1-1/2 pounds and the amount of steak was amazing. The real star of the show here was the flavor of the sauce. While I would have preferred it had more chiles in it, the heat was certainly excellent. I thought I could taste a hint of cinnamon in the spices as well. All in all this was amazing. Cost was $13.00 and was served alone. Coffee was bottomless and priced at $2.50 if I remember correctly. Second meal was the Breakfast Burrito w/Seasonal Fruit cup. Consists of scrambled eggs, potatoes, cheese, wedges of sweet potato and choice of meats. Standard meat options for the burrito were: pork bacon, chorizo, chicken, ham, or maple chicken sausage or steak ($2 up charge). We chose bacon well done super crispy and chipotle sauce on the side although it was forgotten. $10 was the cost for the plate and the flavor here was also fantastic. The fresh fruit consisted of cantaloupe, watermelon, strawberries, musk melon and pineapple. The fruit cup was amazingly large with exquisite freshness and flavors. Down side of the burrito was the bacon was not as crisp as requested, but choose not to send it back. The server (Ser....) was appropriately responsive when informed of the "crispness" error and apologized. Fresh brewed iced tea $2.50. Sitting inside by the front door was quite loud as the restaurant has full brick interior walls with concrete floor. Noise level was quite lively to the point of over-bearing. Music should be turned down as well. The restaurant has ample covered patio dining that is lovely, but with the staff and guests continually in and out with the front door slamming against the frame, it became obnoxious. Refills on both coffee and tea could be improved for sure! Second visit food: Patio dining First meal ordered was the same Wet Burrito. As it was a special only on the previous stay, they were extremely accommodating to make the same dish again. It was excellent on this visit as well. Sauce was again the star of the show...so much so that I asked if I could by it as an open food item and the obliged my request for $7.00. I would estimate the portion size of the container to be 16 ounces. Second meal ordered was the Traditional Breakfast of two eggs any style, with bacon or apple sausage. Choice of either fruit cup, potatoes or two pancakes $10. Chose scrambled eggs, CRISP bacon and fruit cup. Substituted sourdough toast for potatoes/pancake option. Expressed to the server about the issue previous day of crisp bacon and he said he would make sure kitchen was aware. Plate arrived and everything was as requested, with the only problem being was that the bacon appeared to have been placed in the fryer to achieve crisp request. Not the best end result, but it was crisp - greasy. Fruit cup remained the star of the show once again. This time requested the brewed ice tea in a to go cup at order and they were great to do so. Refills on coffee were excellent, never offered on tea refills. The vibe of this restaurant is excellent. Turning down the music inside would definitely improve the dining experience and solving the slamming front door would work wonders as well. Ironically, on our second visit they did prop open the front door 45 mins after open which was greatly appreciated. I would say that for all of the dining for breakfast we have had in Arizona, this is by far the best we have had to date this year. We have spent about the last 2 months in the state. I arrived at 9:50 on a busy Sunday morning with a friend. We asked to sit outside and was told it would be a 30 minute wait. Five minutes later, we were sat in a corner table in the sunshine with a perfect view of the blue skies and a row of palm trees. Our server was decent but not the best. Our meals took a long while to arrive and mine was cold but I was hungry so I didn't complain. I ordered two eggs, toast, chicken sausage and a fruit cup. Pretty basic and nothing I'd rush to order again but it was filling for $10. Their menu is Mexican inspired which makes sense however I'm not really a fan of that type of food so I'd go for the ambiance alone. read more

One of worst and best places in town. Worst, as you will wait 20-30 minutes to be seated while half the restaurant will sit with empty tables. That just gets your blood boiling. The unfortunate thing, the food is really good. I offered to buy the place as it cohoe do so much better. I was told that the kitchen is very small which is why they do not seat people One time I was there and rap music was blasting at 8am in the morning. I asked if they could lower it and the waitress argued with me. Asked for the manager, he never came Another time, she ran my card and never brought the card back... when I asked where it was, she said she didn't know. I went in to look for it and it was sitting in the machine in the bar open to the public. I had two friends tell me that they ordered for pick up and they said "no we aren't taking orders over the phone" We decided after the 20 minute wait at 1030 am on Monday that we will never go back read more
