I needed some pies for a party and my favorite spot couldn't accommodate. This place was near where the festivities were taking place so I gave them a call. The gal that took my order was friendly. Whole pies come in one size - 14". You can order a classic, specialty pizza, or customize it by adding additional toppings. There were nine of us, so I ordered two cheeses & a pepperoni. The total was $54.97. (They also sell slices of cheese & pepperoni and will deliver to The Verdugo Bar, which is across the street.) I had a slice of the cheese and it was tasty. It was light on the sauce and the cheese. I would have preferred a little more cheese but the fresh basil was a nice touch. I also liked the crust. It was chewy but not tough. I could tell it was prepared with quality ingredients. My family said the pepperoni was also very good. I would order from here again. read more

Tried Park Pizza in Glendale and got a 14" half cheese, half pepperoni pie delivered, but the cheese side was what stood out more to me. The cheese slice (7.5/10) had a cheese-to-sauce ratio that I liked because the sauce was still able to stand out instead of getting covered up too much by the cheese. I'm definitely more of a sauce guy, so I appreciated that. The sauce here is very garlic-forward, and that was the first thing I noticed. It's a strong and intentional flavor choice. My personal preference usually leans more toward sweeter, more aromatic sauces, so this was a different experience for me, but I could tell it was purposeful. If you like a garlic-forward sauce, you'll probably like this one a lot. I also liked the touch of basil, which added some freshness and helped brighten the pie a bit. Nice thin pizza that isn't floppy but has nice chew, wasn't bland, and not over sauced. Definitely worth checking them out and they're opened late on the weekends. Awesome neighborhood pizza place that I wish was here 15 years ago! If you're a soft thin crust lover in Glassell Park, here is your place. I got a veggie pizza on the way home from work and enjoyed every slice of it. The veggie is not your regular veggie - No greens but has roasted mushrooms, caramelized onions and basil! To top it off, they put a little bit of lemon zest which sounds weird but honestly was something i didn't know I would love on a pizza! It's almost as awesome as adding hot honey to pizza! Ordered today around 12:30pm got a whole "Marcella" pie. Gahhhh daym! This pizza is seriously good. Price is solid! I feel they fermented the dough very well. Crust is crispy and airy. Toppings were aromatic vs being extremely greasy. Loved the sweetness the caramelized onions gave and the chili flakes kept each bite from flattening out. So happy i have a neighborhood pizza spot. There seems to be a lot of pizza places opening in NELA lately and well, I love me a good pie, so tonight, we ordered up some grub from Park Pizza, a tiny little shop that opened up near the Glassell Park Pool and comic book store Revenge Of on Verdugo. They offer slices from 12-4pm and whole "14 pies after 4pm. I have to say, these guys surprised me. Their pizza dough is particularly yummy. Light and fluffy with big air bubbles. For all of you vegetarians, they have an especially good "Veggie Jackson" pizza which my vegetarian kiddo gave high marks for taste and creativity. Creative in that it doesn't rely on peppers , think carmelized onions and mushrooms and basil. For the carnivores, they have a really good Pepp Swayze, which I didn't understand the name until I went in the shop and saw the pencil drawing of Patrick Swayze on the wall (awe). It was super tasty, think mozzarella, fontina, parmesan, pepperoni, red onion, whipped ricotta, and hot honey. The pizzas come with 6 big slices and are actually reasonably priced. Oh and next door, is a an eclectic bodega aka a tiny market where you can pick up beverages, snacks, ice cream, sandwiches and more. read more

possibly my favorite pizza in LA! got the pepp swayze and it was so delicious. thin crust, dripping in hot honey, pockets of fluffy ricotta, plenty of basil and pepperoni. it's a dream. it's a pretty messy pizza because the hot honey is literally dripping everywhere, but totally worth it. the place was pretty empty when i got there around 5:45 on a sunday. it took about 15 minutes for the pizza to come out once i ordered it. there's a general store attached that has interesting things to look at while you wait. there were two tables with two chairs each outside, which is not much. it's more of a pick up and go place, but i ate there with my friend so we could fully experience the fresh pizza (worth it, but probably not always possible). would highly recommend!!! i wish there were more fun pizza flavors, but maybe that's what makes this one so special. read more

Love this local spot! The pizza is so delicious. Always on point! Don't sleep on the Caesar Salad! Their dressing is homemade and one of the best i have ever had. The creamy Caesar dressing is an authentic & has anchovy paste. I wish they would sell it by the bottle. Instead of croutons, they give you seasoned crushed bread crumbs, paired with the parm cheese and fresh, crunchy romaine, it is a DELIGHT for your tastebuds! 3 stars for the pizza, but 1 star for the service. We visited this spot because the pizza smelled amazing--and it was, once we finally got it. Unfortunately, the experience getting the pizza was a hassle. They have signs saying you can scan a QR code to order pizza for delivery across the street at the bar. Sounded convenient, so we did just that. After waiting over an hour with no sign of our food, I called to check in. The person who answered seemed completely unaware that the order was meant for delivery--even though that's exactly what their sign advertised. Eventually, someone brought the pizza over, clearly annoyed. No plates, no napkins, no chili flakes, no parmesan--just a lukewarm pizza in a box. After tipping in advance, it felt pretty disappointing all around. Pizza itself was tasty, but the overall service and communication really missed the mark. I'd recommend just ordering directly at the main location if you decide to go--don't rely on the bar delivery option. read more
