Do not trust this company. I have both their A/c and Plumber service and a loyal customer for over two years. On Sunday my AC stopped working. I was made an appointment for Tuesday, the earliest they can come out. I was told if I wasn't a VIP customer (monthly services I pay for and clearly don't receive) would gave waited two weeks or longer. Tuesday cane and went and NO ONE called or showed up. Called and was told I would be rescheduled for Wed but the people with appointments come first and nothing they can do with the appointments they skipped the day before. People with skipped appointments don't get preference or an actual appointment time, and if you miss their call telling you the window they will be showing up at your home, your appointment is canceled and you get to start all over. I have missed two days of work, a home over 95 degrees with a dog and a company I pay a service for that treats their customers horribly. So please do trust their 24/7 we will be there for you garbage. I am going on day 4 without air and no guarantee anyone is coming today. Best part.....told me if I don't like the situation I can cancel my services with them and go elsewhere. Loyalty doesn't matter to this company. read more

I've been a member of their maintenance plan that comes with a monthly charge. This is supposed to come with two free AC checkups a year. The first time I made an appointment, about 6 months ago, it got canceled last minute on me. I had to call and set up another day later on and when the maintenance man came he said we would need to replace our not even 5 year old AC completely because it had a leak. I now had another appointment this week and it was supposed to be the morning 2 hour window 8-10. When no one showed up and we called to ask, they had moved it to 10-2 without telling us. Then around 1:30 they told us it would be more like 2:30. It is very annoying having to waste a perfectly good work day waiting 6+hrs for someone to come. This person made no mention of needing to replace our AC and didn't seem to see any huge issues. Worst of all, he suggested replacing a part that said would be about $300 to which we declined. He said he would write us out a quote on how much it would be if they replaced it. I receive an email with an invoice CHARGING ME $290.70 for "work performed or product purchased" for something that didn't even get replaced. It's been over a day now since I have heard back from them after reminding them that this service was declined and was not installed but have not heard back yet. We had parker and sons install a new bosch ac unit last year and have had problems with it since the installation. Turns out that they do not have techs trained on how to set it up properly. Ac still can't hold correct temperature during the summers in az. Coils went bad inside the first year . Each time they have come out to our house they went to the wrong house 4 house down the rd. Now they were called out once again for ac not performing as expected and they show up with out a ladder ar 9:30 pm I call and they said they can't get in a two story roof at night and no one thought to notify us. I am learning every time they come out there employees are says they really need to be sued for there horrible dispatching not even notifing there tech of the job properly. Our kitchen faucet was leaking, so I bought a replacement faucet and had Parker & Sons come out just to install it. The installation cost was nearly $500 - more than twice the cost of the faucet. The workman even showed me on his iPad that this was their standard pricing. It seemed exorbitant, but I was desperate, so I agreed. I'd like to say I'm happy with the work, but our faucet sounds like a kitten crying in distress when we use the cold water. It was alarming at first (especially for our cats), but I'm getting used to it now. I wouldn't recommend Parker & Sons even though they were nice. read more

Our hallway toilet had been overflowing and I called a few businesses to get someone who could fix the problem. One plumber said he would just replace the toilet with a new one it would be about $300. That sounded expensive and extreme, I called Parker and Sons and scheduled for someone to come out. They couldn't give me a price estimate but I agreed for an appointment. The technician was on time, friendly, and knowledgeable. The problem was a faulty value and another minor issue that he said he could fix no problem. That was fine what isn't great is that the repair/visit cost over $300. I asked him for a breakout of charges but he wasn't able to provide one his company invoice/tablet only allowed for a basic input to generate the bill. I could have refused but then I'd still owe the $79 trip fee and I have to start over with another company. I did receive a copy of the invoice in email but it was not itemized. The parts could not have been $20 so the labor must have been the rest of it. No problem with the tech but the pricing was sky high and no way to see exactly what the company was charging in detail. read more

Unfortunately, we had Parker and Sons come out and gave huge inflated prices - 1 our shower spout is not switching from upper spout to tub filling spout they wanted $400 plus (part is only $20 and can easily be installed). 2 our RO was not working and needed new cylinders which was going to cost $200 plus (cylinders were ordered through the RO manufacturer costing $55 and they walked us through how to install) 3 A/C guy came out and took pics of our attic A/C saying there were signs of what looked like mold growing which can cause health issues - also our outside needed a new part which 2 estimates given with a whole house filtration w/ UV $5K or w/o whole house $4K. We were overwhelmed and turned to a friend who gave us another a/c company who came out to access only to find nothing wrong in attic area (simply wipe the saw dust, dirt and algae from moisture) and he replaced the part on the outside a/c for $50! BEWARE THESE TECHS INFLATE AND GIVE FALSE ACCOUNTS! For those who say they're pleased, get another opinion and you'll save money. I had an outlet out they came out, didn't even test the outlet simply told me would be $216 for them to troubleshoot it then proceeded to tell me I needed a whole new electrical panel (again without doing anything other than looking at it) for $5000 or it was going to explode! We had someone else come out and all he did was test the outlet and turn the circuit breaker off and back on and it was fixed he also said there was no need for a new panel they hardly ever need fully replaced and should only cost $2000 if they did. Parker and sons is just out there to sell you things you don't need and see what they can scare you into. I had a water leak in my backyard under the cement, Jake Haney was my technician, instead of using a jackhammer he was able to re-route and that completely fixed the issue. He also fixed the issue I had under my kitchen sink. I also had a bad hose bib in front, he was unable to fix that as the issue was a common water valve was bad (I live in a condo) and had enough integrity to say "don't touch this" lol so that will be an issue for the board and did a great job servicing my water heater on top of all that! Beware of their "Professional Service". Clogged pipe. Snaked 50 ft and didn't unclog. Snaked 75 ft and pipe was cleared. Our septic is 33 ft from entry of cable. Snaked again to make sure and this is where the real trouble begins on a Saturday morning. Cable stuck! Forced, bogged down sound and snap!!! Cable breaks free from inside of their drum. With NO assistance to the plumber my husband had to lift and hold the machine vertically while 1.5 ft of cable is manually bolted back into the drum with transmission in front. Plenty of photos and videos. The cable was secured to drum and BROKE FREE again. So after a long day with NO success at 9pm on a Saturday I set him on his way to come back in the AM on Sunday. The camera technician and plumber decided its best to dig up my backyard and cut my pipe as the plumbers CABLE was kinked and tightly knotted in my SEPTIC tank. Openly admitted the wrong doing of cabling too far my husband and plumber began the dig. The camera guy left because real work was happening here. After locating the baffle they decided to CUT pipes and hammer drill the pipe out of baffle. Cable was out at 4:30pm on Saturday but at 10:30pm the new pipe that was to be installed had yet to happen. The plumber was so frustrated and literally confused by the fittings that nothing was glued or put together the rest of that day. Literally two 22s, one Y, 3ft of ABS and couplings STUMPED this guy for 6 hours on Saturday night with not one piece glued. We talked with him at 10:30 pm and he admitted that he needed help. We literally have NO way to use the toilets or water since 4:30pm Saturday and with children thats even worse. Monday comes and we are expecting the plumber to show at 8 am but he texts to stated he is going to a call that Parker assigned him. Like our situation wasn't PRIORITY. I called at 7 am and asked for a call back from a Supervisor. No response. 8:30 call back to report situation and asked for Management to call and do something. CRICKETS! Now Im extremely upset because at 11 am no one had called and the plumber finally showed up. I also felt that his cry for help the night before was a sign he should NOT jack hammer our septic tank baffle. He finally finished his work after a helper came and the manager called. We stated the WEBSITE stated of PARKERS outstanding service and 1 HOUR Drain Guarantee or its FREE, He laughed at us, disrespected us, humiliated us and then had the decency to state they cant WARRANTY their work because its no charge. We they F***** up my YARD, lost two days of work, cleaned their mess and then laughed at? Well F you Mr. Manager! I hope you get the BOOT for Christmas! The more I think about my "experience" with Parker & Sons the madder I get. Over $1200.00 to replace a disposal and pretty sure they put in the lowest end unit they had available. Not sure of the size either. What I know for sure is that the guy left a terrible mess that took two days to clean up. I had to clean the kitchen floor five times to get all the black stuff up. His tool bag and the "mat" he used were filthy. Yeah, I get plumbing can be a messy job but I expect people to arrive with tidy equipment before putting it down in my house. Also, the price was over the top and I feel cheated. More so when I checked the price of the unit on-line. Perhaps another case of a woman being taken advantage of? Don't believe their commercials as they don't represent the real world of Parker & Sons. Would never recommend them and for sure won't use them again. Called them at 8am Sunday morning with a main line backup into the house. I explained sewage was coming up the drains of the showers and bathtub. I was assured we would be put on the priority list, and someone would be out Sunday to look at our problem. Before I got off the phone they tried to upsale a warranty, which I told them I email me and I'll look over it. 11am, I call the number again, I give my info explain that I called 3 hrs earlier and haven't heard anything and just wanted to check. I was assured that someone would be out that day, and that the tech would call 30 minutes before arrival. 515, I call again, I give my info and again explain the situation and that I called at 8 am and haven't heard from anyone or seen anyone. He asked to call me back with an update after he spoke to dispatch. Five minutes later he calls me back, and I really feel bad for him, he called me back to tell me that they wouldn't be out until after midnight. Not his fault, he got screwed. Just like we did. I'm really surprised by some of the reviews I'm seeing here...the fact is, Parker & Sons saved our goose (VERY HOT GOOSE!) yesterday for the second time in four years! The AC was working - apparently fine - Tuesday but on returning yesterday it was 93 degrees inside (and 115 outside!) and it wasn't. I submitted an online request (you get a 10% service discount that way) then followed up with a call 45 minutes later - and a very nice person answered the phone - not a machine! In spite of the heat and the late afternoon time of day - on what must have been a very busy day - there was someone on my roof three hours later and after determining that the capacitor and fan motor were failing, we had cold air again by 7 PM! Yeah...it sucks when this happens and replacing key components isn't inexpensive. I didn't comparison shop so I honestly don't know how charges stack up. But, they treated me well in 2014 and again yesterday and I think they do a spectacular job!! Eventually my AC will need replacing and I'll certainly ask them for a bid. In the meantime they're my "go to" place for heating and AC work! read more

Last week, I was ready to take a shower after bowling league night and as I turned on the shower, I heard a clicking sound and as I tried to turn it off, the water kept running and panic on what to do. Then, turned off the water from out front, called couple of places first but Parker & Sons were 24 hour service and got a customer rep, Shelby. She was very professional and understand my concern with the shower and all. She was able to get me on schedule the next day and put it as emergency to see if we could get someone out sooner than the later appointment. The next day came and Jason, the technician, gave me courtesy call and giving me ETA on when he would arrive to the house. Once he showed up and saw the shower, he immediately noticed the handle is broken and also, explained the shower handle was too deep into the wall. Had to replace the handle, cartridge, and trim plate so he went out to get some parts and got this all done in under an hour. He was professional and gave me price and did all the transaction. I am going to call Parker and Sons again for future jobs when it is a emergency or installations that I couldn't do. read more

I needed a new water heater. Parker and Sons sent a very nice young man out within 2 hours and gave me a quote. I thought it was a little high and managed to negotiate price down a bit. Water heater was installed professionally in a reasonable time. The tech had to leave to take out the old water heater and pick up the new one. This is where my complaint begins. While the tech was gone my door bell rang and two more techs wearing Parker and Sons shirts were at the door. They said they were here to make sure the electrical was OK. While at the electric box they began making comments about how old it looked (house built in 1990) and could go bad. I have a GE box and everything for it is available at home depot. My water heater breaker is a 25 amp 2 pole breaker and they said with the new water heater, I needed a 30 amp breaker. I said the water heater I ordered is the same as the old one and that I never had a problem. They became very pushy and said they were the experts and would only charge me $220 to put in a new breaker. I asked if the wire gauge would be different and they said no. I told them I would wait. They were obviously very upset I disagreed with them and I told them that I was sure the tech that was picking up the new water heater could deal with any problem. I asked them to leave. They were very rood and quite vocal, but finally left. When the new water heater got there a few moments later I looked at the label and guess what? It called for a 25amp breaker. I just want to tell anyone else to beware of a similar scam if you use Parker and Sons. I almost got taken for $220. read more

The water service supply line to our house ruptured. We chose Parker & Sons because of our satisfied experience with their outstanding response and quality of workmanship to previous emergency plumbing issues (a previous service line leak, and hot water tank replacement). Because this was the second leak - in different locations along our 37-year-old PVC supply line - in less than 2 years, we opted to have the entire supply line replaced, from the meter box to the house. The two technicians (Mike and Rod) arrived on time, were very professional and did not leave until the job was done, 8 hours later. Their professionalism, courtesy, and dedication to getting the job done, and done right in one day, to minimize our inconvenience due no water at the house, was impressive.
