Chop Stop is a salad place for people who don't like salads, AKA me. I'm sure people who do enjoy salads like it too but I wouldn't know from personal experience. Chop Stop is amazing because their lettuce to everything else ratio is on point, meaning all their salads have a ton of other yummy stuff on top so you almost forget that you're eating a salad! They also cut their lettuce into smaller pieces than most places do so it's easier to eat and not feel like a rabbit. My personal favorites are the Santa Fe Chop (Roasted Chicken + Avocado + Pepper Jack Cheese + Corn + Black Beans + Tortilla Strips + sub in the Creamy Chipotle Dressing), and the BBQ Chop (Double Barbecue Chicken + Tomato + Black Beans + Corn + Tortilla Strips + Ranch Dressing). The Asian Chop and Viva Mexico Chop are great too though! And if you're feeling adventurous, you can get any of the salads wrapped in a tortilla (Chopaninis). I just love these style salad spots, always been confused why there aren't more, but hopefully this chain pops up in more spots. This one is different than Simply Salad, but very similar. Portions are smaller, but that's fine by me as long as it is cheaper, which it seems to be. Very similar ingredients to simply. Here I get the quinoa. So, my problem with salads is that the leaves are too big, and it gets very messy, and I get weirdly enraged by messy foods if I'm not mentally prepared for it to be messy. I know I know. They looked at me funny, and were like, it's chopped. Ok, I didn't want to seem more a weirdo than I was, so I didn't push the matter and just hoped for the best. I think they Nickle and dime you a lot but the times are tough. if they are going to charge extra for things, you should receive them! I paid extra for corn, not only did I not get the allotted amount but I didn't get the extra I pad extra for. I also paid for extra BBQ sauce, i didn't get it. I was 15 minutes away so I hopped in the car and picked up my salads. They were nice and light and exactly what we were looking for.
