Glad I called Parr's for so many reasons. Every year I clean two area rugs and the bedroom carpet. My bedroom is also my office and the carpet takes a beating from foot traffic and drips from coffee, tea and food. This year, I asked Jeremy Parr to clean a fifteen year old overstuffed chair that looked sad. Normally, I'd call my usual carpet cleaning service but he's been hard to get ahold of and has had equipment issues for several years. I decided it was time to try someone new. I selected Parr's based only on Jeremy's web site. I called him and he answered my call immediately. I didn't have to fuss with voicemail and wait days for a call back. He quoted his price to clean the overstuffed chair, two rugs and carpet. I like that he is straightforward. He was also about $75.00 less than the price I got from a major franchise. Jeremy was at my home at 9:00 A.M. sharp. Right when he said he said he would be here. He started work by vacuuming the rugs, carpets and chair with a powerful industrial vacuum. Right away, my chair looked better. Then he pretreated everything and extracted my bedroom carpet. Once he finished in the bedroom, he set out an industrial blower to dry my carpet quickly so I could get back to work again. Next he cleaned the chair with a wet vac to pick up the dirt the pretreatment loosed up. And, he touched up the edges by hand. Then, on to the two rugs with a solid "bonnet cleaning". I was surprised he used a bonnet machine as I've always had the rugs extracted. The rugs looked fantastic when he finished and were much drier than they were after extraction. Everything dried quickly. For the first time after many years of carpet cleaning I could set out my chair and other furniture in the bedroom nearly right after he left. The rugs were dry in about an hour maybe less. The chair was dry by evening and looked like new. I will call Jeremy next year when it's time to clean my rugs and carpets. Before calling Parr's Deep Cleaning, take a good look at your upholstered furniture. Look closely at the arms and where your head meets the back. Those areas seem to get the dirtiest. Treat yourself to having your chairs and sofas look great and having a home you are proud to have company in. P.S. This is a real review. I knew I would have an outstanding experience with Mr. Parr, and I absolutely did! I read his lowest review and found from his response that 1) he cares deeply about the quality of his work and his workmanship - which he described in detail, 2) the care with which he responded spoke to his own carefulness and character, 3) the reviewer was not even the home owner who had contracted with Mr. Parr, yet he attempted to get Mr. Parr to change his price half-way through the job, and 4) even the negative reviewer described the work itself as "good work" and "good job". I respected the way Mr. Parr responded to the unjust review, knowing I could then respect his work, and I wasn't disappointed. When he arrived at my home he noticed and offered to fix a significant ripple in my carpet that I hadn't mentioned to him because other professionals had determined it couldn't be fixed. He offered a reasonable fee, which I immediately jumped at, and 45 minutes later I had a beautiful smooth carpet instead of the eyesore I had lived with too long. I knew I would like his work, but I never expected to have a sense of peace every time I look at that section. The actual carpet cleaning by Mr. Parr and his son was also exceptional. (Note: When I attempt to assess a vendor based on reviews, I usually start with positive ones - but they are usually similar to all the other positive reviews I'm comparing, filled with adjectives about how wonderful this person or firm is. When I'm serious about finding the truth, I look at negative reviews and the response from the business. It tells me about both the character of the business owner and the reviewer.) read more

We were and are very satisfied with Jeremy's service. We have been his customers for a number of years and still retain him to this day. If anyone asks who we would recommend for carpet and upholstery cleaning our answer is always Parr's Deep Cleaning Service. He shows up on time, is very respectful and knowledgeable about his service. He takes his time doing the perfect job and won't leave the job until the customer is satisfied. We have tried other carpet services and they don't hold a candle to Jeremy. Others just want to hurry up and get to the next job. In fact we have had others who literally ruined our carpets and upholstery. Another one threw the solution on our lawn and killed it. We never have to worry about these things with Jeremy. Parr did a beyond expected great job. We had white carpets in this house that had some spots from the previous owners pets that another provider said would be impossible to get out. Our new dog also contributed his own spots in a big way. Jeremy came in and said "oh no problem" I can clean all of that and sure enough he did. These carpets look BRAND NEW and you can't even tell where the old spots were. We found our new cleaner for years! read more

After trying to self seal our travertine floors a sticky, cloudy residue formed. Parr's to the rescue. We called on a Saturday afternoon (Thanksgiving weekend) and he was there Monday at 3pm.The floor was such a mess that it took 5 hours to buff! He was very thorough and explained the process as he went along. He was on time, provided fantastic service for a great price! Also gave pointers for self maintenance.
