These are competition winning, mostly regional based rubs and sauces that a normal grocery store doesn't carry. For example, Joe's KC BBQ is the best sauce I've tried to this point in my life and they had multiple bottles of it available. After years of dealing with the frustration of a Pit Boss Pro vertical smoker having horrible…read morecontroller issues (not only with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity and a HORRIFIC app) but temperature swings of 20 to 30° range! The controller would know it was 20 or 30° off of desired temp and do NOTHING about it, even on calm windless days! I was at my wit's end! A quick Google search led me to Smoke Daddy. Their website claimed their PID controllers would do a retrofit and keep temperatures within 5°. I wouldn't believe it! I emailed the company and found out there was a military discount to appreciate that we were a veteran family. A phone call later and a very friendly and knowledgeable agent named Daniel gave us a great deal and answered every question regarding the controller for my Pit Boss retrofit. They only ship two-day FedEx and I had it in no time. As a retired mechanic, installation was easy enough by matching schematics with the retrofit controller and the OEM Pit Boss schematics. If you're not good with electrical, have someone who is help you do this. I followed the instructions on operation and ran some bacon through my smoker and it held temperature wonderfully! Not within 5° but within 2° or less! Unbelievable! Also did a burn-off cleaning that was long overdue and it held temperature at 400° within plus or minus 2° for over an hour. I can't believe how good this controller is and the customer service is also top-notch. I can only imagine their other products and service are just as good. Thank you Smoke Daddy for saving my sanity and bringing smoking meats back into an enjoyable hobby again for me!

We…read morehad them remove an old dishwasher and install a new one in April Everything was working fine. 2 weeks ago we were in the kitchen chatting. I leaned back against the counter and the dishwasher made this awful sound The brackets holding it had broken off of the underside of the counter tearing chunks of the particle board off of the counter The dishwasher then tipped backwards Apparently when they installed it they did not level it front to back. So the movement while washing and the weight of it has been pulling on the brackets all these months and it finally gave way I contacted 2 handymen to get quotes on fixing I contacted Home Depot to see if they will reimburse us for the repair Instead they sent out 3 people from the company they contract with for installation One of them didn't speak English which is fine except 2 of them were talking Spanish to each other and we didn't know what they were saying (the third was like Darryl and never spoke) The one that spoke to us asked me if I had the screws for the bracket. I had found one so I gave it to her. Without talking to us the other guy starting putting the screw back into the counter top. I said stop. What are you doing. She said we're screwing the bracket back on. They were putting it in the same spot where chunks were broken off. And they were only going to do that on one side because we didn't have the other screw We said that isn't going to work Because the washer is up against a wall she said the only other thing they could do attach it to the cabinet on one side and on the wall side we'd have to put a piece of wood and attach it there also But she said that the cabinet was off kilter and not plumb with the wall. Tom said no it's not the dishwasher is not level side to side. She said he was wrong. (He checked it with a level and he is right) I told them we didn't want them fixing this since they don't know what they are doing and will only damage it more. They left I contacted Home Depot again. They told me I refused to let the team in to fix it After a bit of back and forth with me asking to be reimbursed for the installation fee and for a handyman to fix it (they were telling me that i was supposed to call within 48hrs of installation if there was a problem I told them there was no way I knew it wasn't installed correctly until it broke) they finally agreed to reimburse me for the installation (minus tax) and gave me a $150 gift card for Home Depot for my trouble. This still doesn't fix the damage they did or help me pay to get it repaired

I replied that I could talk on Monday but I never heard back. It seems like this might be a side gig for an individual versus an actual service company that answers calls and schedules appointments during regular business hours. Unfortunately due to water and environmental conditions the bottom rusted and leaked, necessitating replacement. Abt could not have been more helpful, in this time of need. The Abt office (Nathan) immediately and fully addressed the situation. The Abt plumbers delivered fast and truly excellent replacement with a new Reliance 50 gallon hot water heater and installed all the necessary copper pipe, valves and fittings---including full labor at no charge. The plumbers (Russell Cartwright and Tyler Fite) installing the unit were very meticulous and highly competent in every detail. They also were extremely helpful and courteous. I have used Abt exclusively for over forty years and recommended their products and service to numerous other home owners--no one has been disappointed.
