I meant to update my review. Found entrees to be inconsistent depending on the cook that day.

Not often I go to the same restaurant twice in one day. But that happened this past Sunday. Apparently my friend and brother both enjoyed their meals at Pacifika. The nice part since it's at a golf course parking is easy. Fairly large space with a large circular bar. Good for larger parties as well. Decor is warm and welcoming tropical feel. There is also outdoor seating. Friendly service, water bottles on tables to easily refill yourself. Brunch was with friends food came out fairly quick my guess since it is at a golf course they're used to quick turnaround so golfers don't miss the t-times. I selected the loco moco I knew my brother had it I. His first visit and enjoyed it. The idea of mac salad under the gravy was odd to read at first but it actually works. Generous portions, I brought part of mine home to share with my dad and knowing I would be back in a few hours I was trying not to eat too heavy. One of my friends had the fried rice that comes with Portuguese sausage and spam with an egg he said the fried rice was nice and garlicky looked like it had lot of flavor. Dinner reservations were at 5:30 for 6 of us. We shared the kalua nachos which were delicious they're wontons that they use for the chips are crispy and don't feel oily. I decided to go with a lighter dinner and selected the Polynesian Ota as my entree which come with light crispy taro chips. Rest of the family had fish and chips, House salad with mochiko chicken, Kalbi short ribs and Tinak'tak. Also thank you to the team for the Pani Popo we were celebrating both my brother and my birthdays and it's a dish my brother had been wanting to try. Perfect final bite of the evening sweet roll with buttery sauce sprinkled with macadamia nuts. We'll definitely be back love the not to Guamanian dishes

I was so excited to finally try this place, since it's hard to find good Hawaiian restaurants in WA. The outdoor patio area was nice on a sunny day, with the view of the gold course and the sounds of the freeway reminded us of the waves back home. We came around 10:30am on a Saturday, so we were sat pretty quickly since they weren't busy at all. Our server apparently couldn't see us even though we were right by the door, so she walked by us a couple times and took another couple's order that sat down after us. After she finally acknowledged us and we received our order, we quickly realized after one bite that the food is definitely catered towards a certain demographic. We got loco moco and oxtail saimin, which are standard Hawaiian dishes, but both lacked flavor. Safe to say: we will not be back nor recommend this restaurant, unfortunately.

Our first time here. Heard Billy Baroo closed and now Pasifika is here. It's a higher end kind of place, but the food was good. My daughter in law and I both had the Ox Tail Saimin. I think I would have preferred rice over noodles, but it was good. Husband had the Hawaiian Saimin and our son had steak loco moko. It looked delicious, but I can't eat that much steak so I would probably never order that. The kids had noodles and spam. In fact I had to order extra spam for them. Service was great. Very attentive and friendly. They brought out our food quickly and everything was hot. No complaints here. The restaurant looked mostly the same as it did when it was Billy Baroo, they added a few island touches. It was tastefully done. We will definitely return.

Good food, friendly service and a fun atmosphere! We didn't realize this restaurant was located inside a golf clubhouse, but it looked like a lot of the people there came specifically for the food and drinks rather than the golf. I was curious about the Guamanian food because that's how it's tagged here, but the menu seemed to lean more Hawaiian. We had lau lau pork with taro and mochiko chicken. Both entrees were well prepared, and the presentation and flavors were more elevated than I was expecting. For the prices, the portions weren't as big as you might typically find at a casual Hawaiian place, but they're reasonably sized and filling. They have a cocktail menu featuring tropical flavors, and the drinks are also well made and tasty. Service was warm and friendly, if a little disjointed, but I would put that down to their being new and still working out the kinks. They were playing live music on a Friday, and it sounds like they rotate between a DJ and a guitarist. If you're seated in the bar, the music is pretty loud to the point that it's hard to have a regular conversation, so if you want to be able to talk without shouting, I'd ask to be seated in the restaurant area. Overall, this would be nice for a date night or for a get-together with friends - there were at least two birthday parties going on! I'd come back again to try more of the Polynesian specialties.

Pasifika NW grill and Bar was some awesome island style grub, with an island feel and ambiance. Being from Guam of course I'm bias, but the Spare ribs, island fried rice n pork belly was on point. What you'd expect from island flavor. Co-owner Ed Muna even came out for a photo opportunity.

This is a gem. I was rushing to be the first Yelper here but someone beat me lol. I noticed they opened this new location (their other is in Bellevue) and had a big grand opening part at the beginning of March. I was surprised to hear they were located in the golf course clubhouse area - there was a restaurant there already and I didn't understand - were there two now? Nope. This is it. This has replaced the restaurant that was there before. They have completely renovated the space and also have event space. They serve fusion Pasifika and Asian food - some parts Hawaiian, some parts Filipino, some parts Korean - and it all works. Absolutely delicious with warm, friendly service and a great view of the course from the windows.

We love the vibe. Owners Ed and Angie are great! Our waiters EJ and Christian were great! Great place to chill and hang out on the patio! Craving that island food and vibe....come to Pasifika in Tukwila! Come get some island food!

First timer! Came here with my cousin on a random day, its located at a golf course! We sat in the bar area, plenty of tables. Our server was Danny, he was fun, attentive, and full of energy! We order the Salmon, crab puffs, and tortellini. All of which were so good! I think I liked the Salmon most! The sauce on top was perfect. Now, drinks... drinks! They were strong and sure got us feeling the music a bit more than others lol. Go visit!

Beef short ribs with tuna macaroni salad and kimchi. Yummy bites. Kimchi mild hot and refreshing.

Went for a belated Mother's Day brunch. Friendly bartenders and server. Open space that looks out on to the golf course. Everything was so tasty!

That was totally not the case, so we had the inside to ourselves until about an hour later when seats started to fill up. Big reason why they were so full with eye-popping wait times back then? Not many seats for 2-4 people, and about 10 seats at the bar, all in a cramped yet oddly cozy interior. Their menu has changed mostly in naming from the last time I was here back in 2024, but everything I've had here thus far has still remained. One of those dishes is their kewpie burger with truffle fries, which they added a "da kids" prefix at the beginning which made me think that it was a kid's meal. If anything, the size of the kewpie burger and fries is rather small even when you add another patty onto it for extra. The burger is essentially a smash burger but it's so tasty that you forget it's a kid's size meal! The extra truffle taste on the fries makes it all the better too. Better yet, we all got this too, though only one of us opted for a single patty instead. It's not a complete 5-star experience because of the relatively hefty pricing overall for pretty much everything on their menu. My friends were ecstatic to finally try here after wanting to for so long and they too were very happy with the quality of our kewpie burgers. I can see why people still come here after so long, and we'd be back for their other stuff!

We weren't sure if it was open because no one was there, but as we walked up to the counter there was a sign that said to ring a bell for service, so we rang the bell, and a friendly lady came out. The prices for the plates seemed a bit high, so my partner and I opted to split a plate. What's cool is that the menu had a long list of sides that were included with the plates, so I was excited to try all of it since it was my first time having this type of cuisine. We ordered the chicken plate, hoping for the best. When the order was ready, we took it to-go so we could nosh at the beach. It felt heavy so I had high hopes. Once at the beach, I opened up the container and holy moly there was a MOUND of what looked like a scrumptious variety of food! And guess what... everything was scrumptious. I really wish I took a photo of the menu so I could identify what I ingested, but I enjoyed it all. The chicken looked a lot like Hawaiian chicken and was just as good. Big hefty pieces. There was some green maybe pickled zucchini or cucumber. Delicious. There was some chopped meat (chicken?) that had pleasantly unique, vinegary notes. I gotta find out what that is. Oh there was like a fried ball of dough with veggies and shrimp in it. There were even more sides I can't remember but I know I loved. The plate was more than enough for my partner and I- and we are big eaters. The price was worth it in quantity and flavor. I really want to come back here but I heard the mall is going to have renovations soon and I'm not sure they'll still exist. I hope Guam Grub persists because I need to go again.

In long I've had a bunch of taquerias bookmarked or committed to memory for a while, and one way or another, this past week has turned out to be the tour of tacos in the area. I'd go back to all of them--every single one--and this one might be the best and most interesting. I just got tacos and a tamal, so I don't know that I could say toooo much about the difference between Mexican and Guatemalan food. This place is Guatemalan, but the stuff I had tasted familiar after 1,000 Mexican meals in my life. You have to go around to the street west of 99 to get in here. There's a little flat driveway paved with rocks leading into a flat, rocky-ish parking lot. Couple trailers, a shed, a school bus, and a food truck. There's some lawn furniture here and there. Today there was even a pleather recliner. This all has a vibe like people are coming over and we're all gonna enjoy seeing friends and family even if the setting is modest. I tried to use a little Spanish to order and the sweet lady punching it in just spoke English back. I clearly don't have the fluency I did years ago...lol I got 2 adobada tacos and a pork tamal, and headed back to my truck with my Jarritos for a late lunch. Today's the first day this year it has touched 70F outside, and with the windows down, it was a good truck-dining day. The tacos were molten off the plancha, and I could touch them but not hold them for the first couple minutes, so I munched on grilled onions and a fiery serrano while they cooled. I dug into the tamal as well. The pork tamal has bones in it--they clearly roast the whole thing and let that marrow enrich the tamal filling. Delicious. They wrap it in banana leaves and then thin tinfoil before they steam it. The masa got mushy 'cause I drenched it in salsa, but that's on me, and it was still spectacular. The tacos really shone through, too. Huge flavors on the pork, nice fresh onions and cilantro, and plenty of juice in the lime wedge. It's clear that everyone here loves serving good food that they would want to eat themselves. Best of all, I was out the door for 3 items plus a pop for $14. Not many places are running prices like those anymore.
