We stayed here for my boyfriend's best friend's wedding and I must say I had an amazing experience! The mineral hot tub was amazing! It is a great location as well, it is right across the park and all of the quaint little shops! They have a little coy fish pond and a herbal garden! The Inn is clean and the staff are friendly and helpful! I am going to come back and stay here again maybe when the weather gets a little bit cooler! P.S. you gotta try their Sunday brunch it is wonderful! It is a bit pricey but well spent! read more

So iam giving 5 stars for the restaurant food and drinks. But 1 star for the service. My wife made reservations for 9 people for my B-day supper yesterday for the family. Before we were seated we were informed that there will be a 25% gratuity added for 9 people. So WE as the customer, choose the gratuity. Not them. That is cheep and greedy on their part. Next, my wife was informed on the phone while making reservations that there is NO corkage fee if we bring local wines. We brought 2 Paso Robles wines. While seated and ordering drinks, our server mentioned that the first bottle is free. A corkage fee will be added to the second bottle. My parents brought my B-day cake. After supper our server mentioned to us that there will be a $3- fee PER cake slice. 9 people, so that would have been another $ 27- added to our bill. Then our bill was over charged. My brother in law corrected the over charge and recalculated the TIP. Not a 25% TIP. Us, the customers choose the TIP. So 1 star for alot of misinformation on their part. read more

Went to the restaurant at the Paso Robles Inn, the atmosphere is sophisticated, modern and inviting. The service is good. The food was decent and the restaurant had a very beautiful view of down town paso and the hotel court yard. Kinda expensive. read more

Historic, quirky hotel with lots of lawns and a stream winding through the middle, but be sure you research the rooms. Some are awesome with giant mineral bath tubs. The ones up front by the street would be noisy. We stayed at the back in a room that permits dogs and really enjoyed our stay. read more

This is easily the best hotel in terms of an accommodating and friendly staff. Great personnel at the front desk. Great location for shopping, dining and catching a movie. The good: Excellent location - you are a few steps away from downtown Paso and I couldn't have asked for a more convenient location. Good service - We arrived around 1:30 pm and our room wasn't ready yet. That was a bit disappointing but she did put us on an early check in request sheet and lo and behold, we got a call around 3 pm that the room was ready! We were also able to leave our car at the hotel while waiting for our room and she gave us a key card to access the pool. They also use a texting service asking how your stay is going etc - I used it to notify the front desk that we were out of towels at the pool and towels arrived within 15 min! Parking - easy, free parking. Needs improvement: The inn itself is pretty outdated especially for the $$ they charge. The walls are very thin and at 2 am, I could hear the people upstairs talking, slamming doors etc. The pool area is much smaller than I thought and feels crowded very easily. read more

I stayed here this past weekend. It was cute and very conveniently located. It is on the main Paso Robles square and within walking distance to most of the popular restaurants. The pillows were really comfortable and I loved that the thermostat is connected to the fireplace, very romantic. They should leave free bottled water in the room instead of charging since a lot of people are wine tasting all day. They have a small fridge and microwave in the room which is super convenient. read more

Very dirty rooms. Had to clean my own floor and the mildew out of the shower. Was so frustrated at having to do this but after I did there was no way I was going to move to another dirty room. The following week when I went to check in for another 5 day stay, that room was also dirty. Canceled my reservation (like I should have done the first time) and went to the Courtyard. read more

This was surprisingly a nice hotel. Room was nice and clean. It was quiet, no kids running around. Plenty of towels. Decent room service prices, and the steak house food was very good. I especially appreciate their text app Ivy that checks in with guests regarding there stay and you can text back any questions you have and they will help you right away. I would definitely recommend this place and will come back when in the area. read more

We've been to the PR Inn many times, it's always been a great experience until the night of Saturday Feb 17th. We decided to grab a drink in the upstairs bar and the women behind the bar was so rude! We don't know what happened but we heard her complaining about getting a $0.75 tip from someone. One of our party members asked for a martini and she made it with simple syrup, they asked her to make it again and she wasn't very happy about that either. She delivered food to our table and she tossed it at us like we were dogs. We didn't ask her for any additions help and left soon after we finished. We will come back again bc we love this place but if we see her at the bar we will definitely turn around and go else where. read more

Stayed here midweek before Memorial Weekend 2021. Just wanted to say the Traditional rooms are very small. TV is small, no table to speak of and only one chair in the room. We had to bring up our folding chair or sit on the bed. Very, very cramped living space. We had problems with the TV, it's complicated to operate, wouldn't turn off and the volume didn't work. The dresser drawers kept opening and we ended up fixing ourselves with paper plates. Bathrooms are good size with two vanities and a deep tub. It's a historic hotel, centrally located, nice & relaxing grounds. Pool is very small, spa is closed. Not sure if I would stay here again, but if I did , I would have to dish out for a larger room and private balcony. Three stars because basics aren't met to relax - the room is so small and uncomfortable, TV didn't work, drawers wouldn't stay closed. Hotel Maintenance and Housekeeping do respond. read more

We checked in 12/30/20 for our first date night in years. When we checked in at 1pm the room next to us had a large pile of trash in front of their room. We assumed that the maid service just was not done yet. Boy were we right! There was a dirty tissue on our bathroom floor. Under normal circumstances, this is a little gross but under COVID conditions it is completely unacceptable! When we complained to the night clerk, he said there was nothing he could do. When we complained the front desk manager, Chelsea, at check out, she was rude and unapologetic. She acted as if we should have complained to the night clerk. When we told her we did, she blew us off and told us there was nothing she could do until she spoke to him. We have tried calling to speak to the GM about the situation but first she was on vacation then Chelsea refused to connect us to her. This situation could have been handled with a genuine apology but now we feel completely disheartened and slighted by the situation. It makes me question all Martin Resort properties. read more

We last stayed here over ten years ago, and as we were looking for a one night stay to break the journey from Mendocino County to San Diego, we booked a room. As it was a Friday night, the hotel seemed busy, but our room was in a quiet area back in the garden. On a cold February night we were glad to open the door into a warm room. The bathroom was well appointed with Bath and Bodyworks toiletries, a decent hairdryer, plenty of towels and a large vanity. We ate dinner across the street at a humming French bistro, but had breakfast the next morning in the dining room where a gas log fire made a cozy setting. We had blinis and oatmeal, with the former being served with a lavender lemon curd, and the oatmeal came with a choice of walnuts, raisins and brown sugar to stir in. The service was friendly and we even received some travel advice on how to get to I-5. Checkout and check in was similarly fast and efficient. We would definitely stay here again to break our journey. My only comment was that I found the website awkward when trying to book on my phone, but that is probably just me, as I gave up and my husband made the booking and received confirmation very swiftly. read more

As a first time to Paso Robles, we were advised to stay at Paso Robles Inn. With not a doubt, we will be returning and only staying here again! The hotel is rich in history with tidbits of information all around you. All of the winery rooms are themed from specific vineyards and decorated with photos, history and brochures. This is a historical building(s) with modern amenities. I suggest splurging and getting the spa room as there is a spa tub on your balcony over looking the gardens. Since the hotel is located in the middle of town, you are walking distance from just about anything! Don't forget to check out what they offer at the hotel, steakhouse, coffee house, bar, spa, pool, garden with swings... All the creature comforts! The room was incredibly clean, staff is friendly and I'm excited for my next visit here! read more

The rooms are super outdated, need refreshing; the most disappointing aspect of our trip was the fact that we called for room service at 7pm and were told that there's no room service in the evenings. What the heck??!!!! What kind of a hotel offers room service during the day but not at night????? Given the sub-standard quality of the rooms and the lack of a "real" hotel experience, I encourage you not to stay here. read more

Ordered a glass of Dauo Celestus and Alex serves me Dauo Cabernet instead behind my back. Not cool. I'm a Level 2 Wine Sommelier so having him serve that cheap bottle of Cab 19 bucks at Albertsons. I was upset. His surfer bartender buddy basically told on him when he went to the kitchen. He was leaving his shift so his attitude was like sorry Dude to late now. And left 10 min later. Also the Prime Rim was like eating a piece of Unflavored steak. Thank for the juice on the side had some flavor. Coming from SANTA MARIA BBQ. I would recommend searing there steaks. A-Maz-Ing! Hands down, one of the top three hotels I've stayed in. The landscape and grounds are beautiful, the rooms are very well cleaned and kept and the pool is still OPEN! It feels like I'm staying in the bedroom of a very exquisite home. The crown moulding is a nice touch and the shutters are so nice. The room comes with a keurig coffee maker, a microwave and a fridge. The best part is the two wine glass and wine opener waiting for you on the table. I walked around the hotel and noticed some rooms with spacious patios and spas ON THE PATIO. They even have curtains for your privacy. I would stay here again and again! read more

Front desk not friendly and just matter of fact. Didn't tell us anything about the hotel or amenities ie mineral jacuzzi that we found out about later. I had called earlier in the week to request an upstairs corner room which they had accommodated but I had book a King on Expedia and it was a double. They said I booked through a 3rd party but were able to accommodate with another room which was nice. The thermostat, and one of the sinks in the bathroom didn't work and the pillows were like balloons. Other than that the location was fantastic which earns the 3rd star. read more

We arrived to check in at 3pm and check got our key and left. When we got back at 5:45 pm there was absolutely no parking not even in the street. We drove around several times and nothing so I decided to go into the office and find out what's going on and what are we to do. The office clerk told me there is a wedding and the wedding guests were told not to parking in hotel guest parking and that someone is going around making sure. Well that was a fat lie. No one was walking around making sure their hotel staying guests had somewhere to park. I am so very annoyed! Can't get into my room to unload luggage. AND the room sucks! We stayed in the 900 block and the room is a shoebox! The queen bed looks like a full size bed. Will NEVER stay here again. There are plenty of other hotels and AirB and B's to choose from. read more

Great inn. I love the location across the town square. There are a lot of restaurants and shops to walk through. Tasting rooms are in walking distance too. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff is welcoming. We like to have breakfast in the restaurant, I do love there omlets. I would stay here again. The only thing that kind of annoyed us is the shower. They make a loud whistle noise and you know when others are taking showers because you hear theirs too, but it's a fabulous inn. read more

I was a little disappointed showing up here, having been to Paso Robles before, I wanted a more remote out of town experience but my wife booked it. Checking in I was impressed how nice it was. Our room was also very well kept and cleaner than any place I've ever stayed. The bed was crazy comfortable and the bathroom was huge. We honestly enjoyed our room more than expected. The only reason I don't give this place 5 is because for the price compared to other local BnB we really didn't feel the value. No complementary wine, breakfast or dinner. But I guess you get a great room nice gardens to walk and relax in, and the convenience to walk around downtown Paso. Our last day some ass decided to smoke marijuana and cigarettes which flooded our room all night and morning. It left my sinuses and attitude wiped out. I checked out 4.5 hours early because I couldn't stand it. The staff was very polite in understanding our frustration and accommodated us. We loved our time here, good choice if your into the town scene and tons of local food! read more

Wonderful hotel on the main square with a hot springs tub on your balcony! Great room, clean and good size. Nice bathroom. But for me the most important thing is having natural hot springs pumping directly into your private Jacuzzi on the private balcony. It is fabulous! The view from the balcony into the courtyard is great as well. And you can't beat the location: in the very center of the historic downtown! read more

The grounds are nice, but the rooms are dated and very overpriced for what you get. Luckily, they more than make up for this with a front desk Supervisor who's the anti-Christ when it comes to customer service. She knows it all so there's no need to explain your side of the story. Two identical reservations in your name? You must have booked twice. Two reservations, one for 2 nights & the other for the following night? You booked two different rooms so you must check out & check back in. And if you don't do so by noon, Housekeeping will remove your belongings. Having never raised my voice or used foul language, she told me that she didn't like my attitude. What a coincidence. Other than the convenience, there's really no reason to ever stay at this place. Apparently COVID killed all the customer service at this place. Too bad because this used to be a nice place. One bad apple can ruin it for everyone. read more

Overall the stay was ok, but only ok. The room and the scenery was nice. The cable was not working, no tv at all in the evening for us while winding down or in the morning while getting ready. Not something I was expecting. The WiFi was very slow as well. I understand this must have been out of their control, but they didn't advise us of this when checking in. We went to a tour at The Firestone brewery and it was from 11-12. Check out is at 12 at the inn, so we called to see if they'd extend it and we got a quick no, Ive literally never heard of not being to extend check out time. I wouldn't stay here again, I'll try another place out. read more

I understand how the prices of motels have increased during the pandemic. But $340 (incl taxes & fees) seems much too much for a tiny room with one queen bed, non-existent soundproofing, dated furniture and stained carpets. Maybe the price was inflated because it's Valentines weekend? On the positive side, there's a fireplace in the room and the grounds are nice. But will definitely not return. read more

our experience went from good to bad to horrible. wednesday night was fine, made sure front desk knew to put a rollout bed for thursday night for our college son we were picking up from chico. thursday am we had no hot water in the newly renovated room. we had to walk to another building to take showers in the am cold. that put out departure for our 6hr drive to chico back an hour. once again i reminded the front desk about the rollout bed, no problem we were told. after driving 12hrs round trip to pick up our son, the hot water was restored, however the rollout bed wasn't in the room. the front desk said the maintenance person, who is the only person with key access in the entire facility to a rollout bed was gone for the day and we were told our son would have to sleep on the floor or chair for the night. a 3 star inn with prices of a 5 star and this was the best they could do was bs! horrible management that promised to call us the next day and never did. we drove to the san luis obispo marriott and had a great stay. never again will we ever stay at the paso robles inn. i'd give it a zero. read more

Check-in was quick and easy, plenty of free parking to be found, our cell coverage was terrible everywhere in Paso so we were grateful for the fast complimentary WiFi. The room was large and had some great amenities, a nice gas fireplace heats the room via thermostat, my wife loved the bathroom sink/vanity area, it was huge and plenty of space for her, and the shower was great, tons of water pressure and the tile and fixtures throughout the bathroom were recently updated. Our favorite thing about the place was its proximity to all the great shops and restaurants in downtown, everything was only one to two blocks away. Highly recommend this hotel. read more

Great location in downtown Paso Robles. We brought our dog with us, and they had a great basket for her full of treats and a blanket. Room was a great size, not too small, yet not so big. The bathroom could of needed some updating, one of the tiles fell down . Other than that, breakfast was yummy! Coffee was good! And the atmosphere was great! The Good: Great location, beautiful grounds, helpful front desk people, clean well-furnished room, fluffy towels, real glass wine glasses and water glasses, Keurig coffee maker and porcelain mugs, plenty of free parking. The Bad: A really hard bed that squeaked every time you change position (or try to do anything else in the bed, a real mood killer), could hear water running or flushing from neighboring rooms, breakfast service in the cafe was horrendous (party of 4, two people got their orders, the other two had to wait another 30 minutes, and no one came to refill coffee or check on us, the explanation was "the machine ate the ticket", whatever that means). Bottom line: great if you want to be centrally located in town and walk to restaurants and stores, but if that doesn't matter, stay at the Adelaide. read more

The hotel itself is darling from the outside, and the grounds are so serene. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful as well. Also the locations is the best, with restaurants and shops just across the street. A very great location for sure. The main complaint I had was the rugs in our room. And I say our room because our friends had the same type room but they had hardwood squares, not carpeting. Our carpeting was so stained it was gross. Everything else was super clean, from the bathroom to the closets, but that carpet was horrible. Also the pool was smaller than I'd hoped but we still enjoyed sitting around it in the evening, even if the security guard had to come tell us to keep it to a whisper because it was supposed to be closed. It was only 10pm but I guess it was nice he let us stay. read more

Need to update the carpet in the rooms. They don't clean the room while you stay as they claim COVID. If you want clean towels or water they will deliver it but if you want your bed made you do it yourself. read more

I have been coming here for several years and always enjoy coming back. The grounds are very well maintained and the landscaping is always manicured. I like how the front desk staff , Sharene and the rest of the girls always greet you when you first walk in the door and are always more than helpful with any request.
