The reviews this company has are spot on and they deserve even less stars. The manager that schedules the appointments for service calls is rude and the worst part is their technicians don't have common sense. A technician showed up at my home at 7:15 am and knocked so lightly that nobody in my 1200 sqft home heard him. I work overnight and when I tried to schedule the tech again the manager tried to charge me when all his technician had to do was use the doorbell. Their high-shrilled voice manager was so rude when I tried to ask him to come back and wanted to charge 2 trip charges for a technician with no common sense. Wow - how times have changed. (sigh) In the past, Pasquini had been a remarkably capable service organization and with some amazingly talented techs in-house, had been my sole trusted partner to help keep my 8 year old Bezzera lever espresso machine running in tip-top shape. I moved to Vegas from LA almost a decade ago and since I have a specialty machine that doesn't really have locally trained support here in town, Pasquini had been my lifeline that could offer preventative maintenance. I would drive it over to them every 4 years or so to overhaul the machine and keep it running in perfect condition, which they did. Robert, the tech that helped keep my machine humming along was extremely friendly, incredibly knowledgeable and an excellent resource. In the interim, I would use Pasquini to order simple replacement parts such as showerhead gaskets and such and it was such a relief knowing they were there, and their kind assistance over the years can not be overstated. Unfortunately, when I recently called to get some advice and some related parts, in addition to wanting to setup a calendar date for another "tune-up" service call, I was essentially kicked to the curb and told that they no longer are going to service machines or offer advice on anything that wasn't originally bought from them. Period. Full stop. Additionally, I hate to echo other comments that others have left recently but the person taking my initial call was amazingly unfriendly and clearly had no interest in hearing me out as it related to my existing service relationship with them. I received such an over the top toxic response in the way that it was delivered that I have a hard time believing this person is allowed to answer the phone. Just wild. It's such a shame-- there aren't that many choices for those that shopped around online for their specialty machines to get in-city support. Those that have used Seattle Coffee Gear or 1st Line, or Whole Latte Love (or similar) have likely done so not just because of price, but also because it can be difficult to locate some of these machines in town. I hadn't been aware of Pasquini in 2017 or I probably would have loved to stop by their shop and support our local merchants but their decision to not offer support of any kind or even to CONSIDER grandfathering for those that have had existing service relationships removes my ability to service my heavy fragile machine without shipping it at this point. While that's not a great future to look forward to, and while it's certainly Pasquini's perogative to decide how they want to conduct their business model, I think it was the absolute lack of empathy and horrible support from the rep I spoke to over the phone after previously (and happily) spending almost $1,000 in repairs with them that left such a bad taste in my mouth and prompted me to share this story with you all. Let's hope they turn this ship around because their behavior seems quite self-destructive. It's truly a shame. Very sad about this one. read more

After dealing with Pasquini Co., and family for over forty years, buying numerous machines from them, being a loyal customer. In 2025 and 2026 something happened. I feel that the whole company now is a scam. They asked me to put a credit card on file for the first time, I had to do that. They say it was a new policy. They sent a service man to my house to service the machine. The technician replaced two small valves and when he finished, he did not provide me with a price or invoice. When I got the statement from the credit card company, the charge was $750.00 and I couldn't believe it. Right away I went back to Pasquini and asked for an invoice. The guy went into a small office but could not provide me with a copy of the invoice, he said that somebody would call me in a couple of days, which they did. I explained to him that in previous times the charge was usually under $500 for service, but not this time, and was told they would give me a refund of $250, to find that only $50 was refunded. BEWARE, DO NOT USE PASQUINI TO BUY, REPAIR OR ANYTHING ELSE TO DO WITH THEM. This is a horrible, horrible place to do business. read more

SCAM. Worst experience ever. I purchased a La Marzocco Linea Mini 2024 from this store ONLY because they advertised the fastest shipping compared to other retailers. A few months later, a small leak appeared. I reached out to them multiple times ... they ignored me at first, and only responded after repeated attempts, asking for a video of the issue. I had already contacted La Marzocco directly, and they immediately offered to send a technician to fix the problem at no cost. They also confirmed they would cover all parts and simply send Pasquini the invoice for the labor, since the machine is still under warranty. Pasquini's response? They refused to pay anything and claimed they do not cover it ... despite the machine clearly still being under warranty. Even La Marzocco themselves told me they've had issues with Pasquini and reported them as unreliable. This place is a complete scam. Don't waste your money or energy here. If you want real premium service for a premium machine, avoid these people... they are cheap, low-class, and do not stand behind what they sell. read more

My experience with Pasquini Coffee couldn't be better. They've been very helpful over the phone, their customer service couldn't be better, they are incredibly honest and helpful. According to the instructions for our espresso machine, we are supposed to have professionals descale the machine on an annual basis. We've had the machine a year and use it daily, so we took it to Pasquini Coffee to be descaled. They looked at the machine and said it doesn't require any service and that they didn't want to unnecessarily service our machine and take our money for no reason. They then gave us free advice to care for the machine and made us each a wonderful cappuccino. I couldn't give Pasquini Coffee a higher rating or recommendation. read more

Purchase experience here was pretty positive; they were knowledgeable in giving recommendations and had the technical knowledge about every one of the machines that they were selling. When I bought my machine, they made the right recommendations on loading my espresso machine onto my car and gave tips on how to reach them, how to care for my machine, and everything else that I needed to know. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE! YOU WILL REGRET IT. We made the mistake of buying an R58 from Pasquini and an even bigger mistake trying to get it repaired under warranty. Long story short - having moved out of town, we shipped our machine back to Pasquini for repairs under the warranty period. Jill at first seemed very nice and accommodating, but wow were we wrong. It ended up being two months of a merry-go-round with Pasquini trying to get them to fix it. Not only did they not fix it, they knew we were not local and tried to get us to buy a brand new machine for $3000 by telling us 1) that the machine was damaged in transit so the exterior needed repairs, asking us if it was insured for shipping (and telling us to claim for damage if so) and 2) that the machine was not working because of water scaling which would not be covered under warranty. We thought this all sounded fishy because the photos they showed us did not have visible signs of damage (just signs of them taking it apart) and because we triple filter our water so that water scaling would not be an issue. On top of that, they wouldn't tell us how much it would cost to repair either 1 or 2, but rather only told us that it would be almost as much as a brand new machine so maybe just consider that. At this point, we did not trust this shady business to fix anything for us, so we flew from Austin to LA just to retrieve the machine. Boy, were they shocked to see my husband show up out of the blue. And guess what, the machine did NOT have exterior damage from transit. I am almost certain that they were just trying to take advantage of the fact that we weren't local and would probably say yes to whatever they claimed, because we shipped our machine back to Austin to an authorized distributor and repair shop (Pro Gear Coffee) for a second opinion. Lo and behold, after a week, Pro Gear called us and told us the only thing wrong with the machine was the motherboard, which they were able to replace in 2 hours, for $400. And of course, there was no exterior damage that needed repairs. We should have just gone to Pro Gear Coffee to begin with; not only are they local, but they are so honest and reasonable - the way businesses should operate. It's our fault for thinking that Pasquini would honor the warranty, because why would they want to miss out on revenue from loyal customers? Not only did we waste $200 to ship it there and a return flight to retrieve it, but also 2 months of downtime with the machine while they played their little games. At least we didn't get scammed into spending another $3000 on a machine from them, which is what they really wanted from us. We bought so many accessories and coffee from Pasquini the past two years that we now regret. Pasquini - you've lost a loyal customer with such shady practices. read more

About 5 or 6 years ago, my coffee snob husband convinced me that we should buy a $2,500 Profitec espresso machine. We have gotten our money's worth and he's made us cappuccinos every day since then. It went kaput about 3 months ago and we took it into Pasquini upon a friend's recommendation. Well, the folks at Pasquini knew what was wrong within a couple of weeks, gave us and estimate (we said yes!) and then worked diligently for 2 1/2 months to get the computer part. Apparently the world is still having supply chain problems. Once the part came in, the machine was quickly fixed. We picked it up, got a couple of complimentary cappuccinos and purchased a bag of beans. Now our world is back to normal. Goodbye Mr. Coffee machine! read more

The customer service at Pasquini has taken a nosedive, and the owner is incredibly rude. Recently, an employee demanded that I pre-pay for a service call - a first in the 30 years I've been a customer. When I asked why, the employee curtly responded that it was a new policy and hung up on me. I reached out to the owner to express my disappointment, expecting the issue to be resolved given my long-standing loyalty, purchasing several high-end commercial espresso machines and paying for countless service calls. He promised to speak with the employee and get back to me. After days without a response, I followed up with the owner. Instead of resolving the issue, he was arrogant and dismissive, acting as though he were running a business the size of Disney. He complained about his overhead, profit margins, and how busy he was, before deflecting responsibility back onto me, saying it was up to me to deal with his rude employee. When he started using profanity I ended the call. The entire experience was bizarre and made it clear that my business and loyalty meant nothing to him. With this type of attitude, it's not surprising that their two top technicians left. There are several other businesses that sell high end espresso machines that care about their customers. If you're looking for great service don't go to Pasquini. read more

I did not know what this place when I strolled by looking desperately for an open coffee shop in Frog Town on a Monday afternoon. So many coffee shops in the vicinity! None open! Saw Pasquini, mistook it for a cafe and then entered to discover a gorgeous gallery of machines. Not in the market for a beautiful espresso machine, we just stayed to chat with the owner who was a delight. He then offered to make us Italian cappucinos which we obviously could not turn down. They were delicious so I bought a giant bag of their Gusto beans. Eager to return when the inevitable windfall of money lands in my lap that allows me to purchase one of their museum worthy machines to make one of those fantastic cappucinos at home. read more

I ended up placing a deposit for a Bezerra Crema DE. I received the machine last week and am thrilled with it. If you in live in Southern California, I highly recommend you buy from Pasquini and not order from an out of state dealer. Previously I ordered a machine from an online store and it was a nightmare when I encountered a problem. This review is for a recent experience with their repair service team. I have had decent service with this company in the past with repairs of my home machine. They offer in home service for an extra cost and that was valuable for me to not have to pack up a heavy machine and take it to the shop as well as picking it up, setting up etc. I called in December for a home service and they let me know they were busy because of the holidays so I was happy to be in the queue. They said it could be a week or two and that I should wait to hear from them. Out of the blue one morning a service tech called and said he could be at my home on an hour. I was given no warning and couldn't accommodate that and said I would need the next available appointment, which he said would be the following week (still December) I never heard back from anyone, and in the first week of January I called to leave a message (the repair dept doesn't really pick up calls, which I understand for a small shop). The service manager said I was still in the queue (3 weeks later) and I should just wait to hear from a tech when available. I waited a few days before the service manager finally called me to apologize and say they just weren't going to do any home machine service calls anymore and that I would have to bring it in to the shop after all. I asked if I would maintain my place in line since I've been waiting 3 weeks and he said that basically a new job ticket would begin and the lead time for that is 4 weeks. Ugh. Here's the gist of my gripe- I like supporting small businesses and I didn't mind playing ball with how busy they are. But the goal line kept moving with no real accommodation for time I lost waiting for them to come through. I would have appreciated a heads up sooner and would have really liked if they just finished this ticket as promised then informed me that they are shutting down home repairs after they've completed pending projects. The whole thing was frustrating and needless to say I did not drop off the machine. There are other reputable shops in LA that do drop offs and the place I took it to has a 1-week turnaround and are authorized dealers for commercial and home machines. I'm glad to see that Pasquini is well reviewed and I have had good experiences with them but I do have to call this out because it was just bad business for repair service and I hope they prioritize better customer communications moving forward. read more

Was referred to Pasquini by a friend, and when I was buying my machine they were super friendly and helpful. Just before the two year mark, I had to bring it back for an under-warrantee repair (basic wear and tear stuff, a couple valves and gaskets). Not only did it take 3 1/2 months before I got my machine back, but every time I called, nobody knew what the status of it was, and gave me a different excuse for why it was going to take "two more weeks." When I finally got it back (they didn't notify me it was ready, I had to call them and ask) the reservoir was left full and the machine was dirty, presumably from living on a warehouse shelf from March to July. Again, everyone was always very nice and helpful, right up until it came to repairing the machine (warranteed machines like mine allegedly get priority, by the way), which was like pulling teeth. I have known Pasquini and shopped there for a long time - maybe 6 or 7 years. Shortly before they moved to the new location, they stopped roasting their own coffee. But I have to say their import (Portioli) is very good if not better than what they roasted (which I liked as well). The initial price for Soave, which I like, was $20 for 2.2lbs (1kg). And shipping was free if you ordered online ($40 or more free shipping - 2 packages). The price is now up to $25 and shipping, not free anymore, ads $8.25. so instead of $40 shipped, I am paying $58.25. This amounts to an almost 50% price increase (46 1/2%). I consider this an LA phenomenon that I do not like: establishing a good reputation and then either go down with quality or raise the prices exorbitantly or both. There are plenty of excellent Italian roast availabe on Amazon: Lavazza starts at $15 for 2.2lbs, but also smaller Italian roasters offer in the USA at this price point (like Gran Caffé Garibaldi). I would have liked to support this local business, but the price just doesn't justify it anymore... with a 50% price increase I don't feel like a customer, but rather like a cash cow. read more

I wanted to get a better espresso machine and I found this local family run place. The customer service was amazing to get exactly what I want, answer all my questions and explain how to make the best espresso I have ever been able to make. They were so patient and when I called back a few days later to ask them to explain things to me again, they really went above and beyond to make sure things work perfectly. I bought the LaMarzocco Linea Mini and a Mazzer grinder which I think are great considering the amazing espresso.
