Went here last night for a friend's birthday. Usually when I go to a sushi place I order the dragon roll but they had mango in their dragon roll which sounded weird. So we ended up ordering Thai Basil Shrimp and Seafood Udon Stirfry. The portions were pretty large and the food was good. The owner was very nice and came and talked to everyone. Not the best sushi I have ever had, as it wasn't so large and unique, but it did taste fresh which is most important to me in eating sushi. You pay a price for good, quality sushi, so I think the prices were between fair to high for this sushi. I couldn't make it a weekly habit, but I would order from here again! Meh. I ordered Thai basil chicken, beef with black bean sauce, and chicken teriyaki for delivery. None of them were something I'd order again. The teriyaki was very sweet, the basil chicken really had no basil flavor. We ate them, but we probably won't order from there again. Prices were slightly higher than my standard Vienna Sushi go-to restaurant but the other place doesn't deliver so in my opinion the delivery was worth it for me on Friday night so I didn't have to drag the kids out of the house to pick-up dinner. Solid place! I love it cause it's very convenient to where I live haha. I mostly order in but the restaurant has a nice modern look. The food is overall good, I would give it 3.5 stars, not phenomenal but definitely satisfying and tasty. The general tso chicken is really yummy- but not the stereotypical General tso lol, it tastes a little different. The orange chicken is yummy too, just very sweet. Went for lunch with a co-worker and two doctors. Very clean and classy interior and lunch specials were well proportioned and fairly priced. Staff is professional and courteous, would definitely recommend giving it a try. Parking is a little tight in the parking deck. Came back after two years hiatus and wow everything has improved, from food to service. Everything on the menu is fairly priced. We tried grilled squid and Ron Canai or Indian pancake. Both excellent! The sushi platter was fresh but underwhelming. Too many same cut of sushi. For $21, need more variety. The dragon roll was well made and tasty. Even my kids chicken lomein was good. We also got a decent bottle of Malbec for $18! Tuesday was their 40% off wine special. But the pinnacle of the evening was the service by Jenny. I've been to some of the most high end restaurants and even some of their service don't match up to the service we received tonight from Jenny. She was soft spoken, sweet, polite, and very attentive. She even stop by various occasions to pour wine for me and the wife. At time, you don't even get that type of service from a high end restaurant. Thank you Jenny for making our experience at Passion Fin memorable. Sunday evening dinner with the family. It was quiet there, we were seated promptly. The waitress was very pleasant. I was concerned because it was the first time went to a Japanese restaurant and somehow I didn't think they would eat anything. Not only did they love the hibachi, they tried some sushi and liked it. Been a customer for years here before the covid. I worked down the street. On 7/23/21, went in person to the restaurant and they had tables set up to block you from entering. Only takeout available. Ordered the same thing I've ordered for years but the Asian lady at the register was truly obnoxious and rude to me. It was absolutely totally ridiculous. Normally, I don't care and I have a lot of patience but towards the end, I got sick of the way she was talking to me and I really raised my voice. In fact the entire episode was all her problem. I became really tired of being disrespected by her. The manager walked up behind her and she stopped her behavior. I handed her cash. She sprayed the bills with lysol but didn't clean her hands before or after. I strolled outside and was talking on the phone when the manager knocked on the window when my order was ready. My favorite sushi place in Northern Virginia! You all rock. I love the Redskins roll, Lobster Fantasy Roll, etc. I haven't had a bad sushi roll here. Crab wontons are a must. I stopped here for the first time to pickup sushi. The Ocean Roll with tuna & salmon was fresh & delicious. I paid more for the Dynamite Roll -it was covered in that horrible fake crab so I couldn't eat it. I was really disappointed that they didn't warn me it would be fake crab, especially considering the price of this roll. This is my favorite sushi restaurant! They are always fantastic! Suri the bartender is excellent and gives us great service every time! We go once a week and have become regulars. Our favorite items are the Redskin Roll and pan fried pork Gyoza. They are also on the happy hour menu on Mondays which is so awesome! Needless to say, we typically go Monday's! Let me just start off by saying, don't order anything but the sushi. My boyfriend and I were hungry one day and decided to look around groupon for a good deal, then we found Passion Fin. The restaurant was hard to find. It is located in a newly developed residential area with garage parking. But if parking yourself is an issue, don't worry, they have complementary valet parking for all customers, which is pretty nice. Now on to the food. They have a huge Sushi/rolls menu but limited...everything else. We read on Yelp that their sushi is good so we ordered a few sushi rolls. But I was also craving for pad Thai at the time so we decided to get a pad Thai and a pineapple friend rice( because i want to try it as well.) I thought the sushi was pretty good; very fresh and the flavor was on point. However, the Thai dishes were a great disappointment. It was nothing like Thai food. Not to be cocky, but i think i can make better pad Thai at home. I ended up going to a Thai restaurant the next day to satisfy my pad Thai craving. So definitely give this place a try, but keep in mind to only order sushi, at least don't order from the mini Thai menu. read more

My visit was consistent with the recent and decent reviews. Came for lunch. Decor is nice and food presentation is even nicer. I had the sashimi lunch special which comes out in a huge decorated bowl. I wish it came with some more sashimi pieces but the fish tasted fresh.
