I hate to give bad reviews, but I needed to update my previous review of this place. It's been a while since I came back from the first time I came here, and I don't know if I'll be coming back. I placed a DoorDash order for ASAP pickup of a 16" pizza. Placed the order at 4:35 pm with an ETA of 15-20 minutes. The app said it should be ready before 5 pm. Keep in mind, I intentionally placed the order early so that my 2 year old would have food at her normal dinner time. When I entered the restaurant, there were a few customers who didn't know what's going on. Neither did I. There wasn't anyone at the cashier's area. I had to flag the lady down to ask about my order. This was around 4:50 ish, so I don't mind waiting 10 minutes for my pizza. However, at 5, they didn't even start making my pizza, let alone put it in the oven. It's not until 5:21 pm that the pizza finally made its way out of the oven. It was disappointingly slow. Good news, though, I was able to write this review while I waited for my pizza and I finally got out of there by 5:23 pm. Also, one more thing to note, it felt like they were definitely short staffed and the person who was taking the orders at the front was also the person who was making the pizza. However, I noticed that she didn't use any gloves when making the pizza after transitioning from taking orders nor did I see her wash her hands. Just for that reason alone I don't know if I'd be coming back or would I recommend this place.

In-laws felt like Italian and this place had very high reviews. I would categorize this as "American Italian" and this isn't a bad thing, just know what to expect and don't compare this to what you had in Italy. They let you build your own pizza and pasta so it's a bit mis en place to customize your order to however you want. There is an "IG wall" you can take pictures at but it's located in a tiny normal strip mall and besides the website and social media pictures a pretty normal restaurant. Margherita Pizza :Tomato, Ricotta, Fresh Basil. Very sparse ricotta on this and felt like not enough cheese was used, see pictures. Cacio e Pepe: Spaghetti noodles, Pecorino Romano, Parmigiano, Olive Oil and Black Pepper. With sausage added, it was OK, too al dente and slightly under cooked. Rigatoni with Meatballs: This one I wish we ordered more of, we got it for the kids but I tried some and it tasted great.

I was told about this place a long time ago by a family member who lived in the area at the time, but had since moved away. So, really no reason for me to visit after that. Came across it again on a shopping trip for pet food and thought I'd stop by finally. Location: On the corner of Glassell and Lincoln Ave it's in a small strip mall with a private parking lot, but shared. Customer service is good and the ambiance was like walking onto a sidewalk cafe for a break after a shopping trip. Food: I wasn't feeling brave enough to chose my own plate, so I went with their braised beef ravioli in pink sauce. Wasn't expecting the mush like consistency of the filling, but I couldn't fault them the freshness of their pasta. There's just a taste you get from fresh made pasta you don't get with packaged ones. The pink sauce was divine and i liked it. Larger appetites will think the serving too small, but was just right for me since I had garlic bread. 8/10 The garlic bread wasn't my favorite. Too much oil/butter on the bread and not enough time in the oven or on the pan for a crust on the top. I was given the option of cheese on top but i passed on it. Maybe i should have gotten the cheese on top as that might have given me a crust on top of the bread. Summary: I left full and satisfied except for that garlic bread. Maybe next time I'll branch out and build my own next time. The menu looks inviting with endless combination possibilities. Adding a protein to your dish will be an extra charge. Build your own pizza is also available tool (They have signature pizzas too). However, sandwiches are not build. your own. Cute little place, just too bad it's so far away as I love pasta. Still reasonable prices for what you get and best of all:mom and pop shop. Happy Eating!!!

Pasta Trio (Rigatoni in pink sauce, spaghetti in Alfredo sauce, and penne in pesto sauce)

My boyfriend and I went on a Tuesday night and we got the pasta trio! First of all, the service was incredible, the lady there was so helpful and sweet. The food was also incredible. The pasta and sauces were sooo good. They were just right, they didn't make me feel all nasty after the fact, like some pastas do. The place was also nice! It wasn't busy so there was a good amount of open tables. I would definitely recommend dining in if you can help it. This is a MUST TRY and I will be going again!!

What can I say? I wanted carbs for lunch! Ordered a braised short rib pasta, meat lover pizza, and garlic bread. The one thing I was really eyeing was the pasta. The short ribs in there were so tender. They have nice pieces lathered onto the noodles. The noodles were nice and bouncy. They are wide and long, so fun to eat and just delicious. Would order this again! The meat lover pizza was amazing. My kids loved it, nice thin crush, nicely layered with cheese and just an overall yummy pizza. The garlic bread was a 6/10 not crazy over them. Service was good, the gal who took my order was down to earth. I waited about 15 mins until my entire order was done . Not too bad for all that food. Casual dining area and plenty of indoor seating along the wall. There is more seating towards the back as well. I love the different artwork highlighting Orange County. Super neat to look at.

I came to this place because of their reviews, but was disappointed in my experience. The restaurant was nearly empty while we were there and it took 45 minutes for our food to be ready. I understand people have off days, but the staff wasn't very friendly and seemed annoyed when asked questions (ie asked for a water cup because none were available). Braised beef ravioli - 6/10, beef was flavorful, sauce was bland BOYP (pappardelle, pink sauce, and sausage) - 3/10, the up charges on this felt excessive (ie $2 for pappardelle + $3 for pink sauce + $3.50 for sausage), the sauce was not flavorful, the pasta was cooked well, sausage was okay Garlic bread - 2/10, no garlic flavor I am tempted to try their pizza in the future, but would not re-order pasta. The price for the meal we ordered was not justified during this dining experience.

So this restaurant is a little hidden gem. If you like homemade pasta, well this place is for you. We ordered the three pasta special (penne pasta with creamy pesto, cacioe e peppe and added bacon, and braised beef pasta). We also had the chopped salad. Just delicious. The staff was great and hard working. We will definitely return....who wouldn't.

I came here with family. We all enjoyed our food and service. My sister ordered the cheese ravioli and said it was one of the best cheese ravioli dishes she has had. My mom ordered the cacio e pepe and enjoyed it. I ordered the parpadelle beef pasta and was blown away. Both my boyfriend and mom tried it and said my dish was the best. Big portion sizes. Like a normal pizzeria with seating into the back so it's not a romantic spot or overly picturesque. There's a parking lot which is convenient. Service was friendly and quick. They have a surcharge for using credit cards. Penne In pink sauce and sausage 8/10 Chicken parmigiana with spaghetti 9/10 Beef braised ravioli 9/10 - all the pastas were a bit on the salty side (prob the pink sauce) 12" pizza with half deluxe 10/10 They have a self serve soda machine but you do have to pay for a cup; they do offer water but it doesn't taste good at all. Their soda machine is all cream based drinks so if you don't like those I would bring your own water.

Food was delicious, but service was even better. The restaurant felt very homey and welcoming and the mini vespas were a nice touch. Alex recommended the short rib pasta, beef braised ravioli, or gnocchi and I opted for the short rib pasta. It was a generous portion and the pappardelle and short rib were cooked and seasoned to perfection. Alex, chef Fabio, and the rest of the team were great because you can really feel the love that was put into the food and restaurant. I will definitely be back!

My husband, our 3 boys and i stayed at a local hotel so we chose this place for dinner based off the yelp reviews. I'm happy we did because they did not disappoint. Luckily we were the only ones dining in. It's in a strip mall so it's not that big inside but cute little cozy space with friendly staff. The food was even better! Their beef braised pasta was so good! I highly recommend. My husband and I split that with a Cesar salad and we were stuffed. If I'm ever in the OC I will definitely go back

Tried Pasta Party for the first time and it definitely won't be my last. The ambience is clean, chill, and really comfortable, perfect spot to relax and enjoy a good meal. The customer service was phenomenal from start to finish. The cashier was friendly and welcoming, and even the pizza maker checked in with us to see if we had any questions about the menu, which I really appreciated. We ordered the fettuccine with pesto sauce and a margherita pizza with pepperoni. The pizza was incredible the cheese tasted high quality and made every bite super satisfying. The pasta was just as impressive. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and it was so well seasoned that we didn't need to add any extra pepper or anything else. Overall, a great experience with both food and service. Definitely looking forward to coming back!

The meat inside was delicious ravioli. The braised beef pasta was bomb! It had mushrooms in it as well. The noodles tasted so good with this dish as well. They were flat and think. The sauce was perfect on it! The salad was good! I got the side salad size and it was just enough for two people to share it. The garlic bread was fresh and yummy! Love the atmosphere of this place! Makes you feel very welcomed!

Was scrolling restaurants and Pasta Party popped up and I remembered I had a great experience a couple months ago. I showed up either right at closing or a couple minutes after and offered to come back another time (I hate being the guy that comes in right at closing) and they insisted on helping me. Also everyone working had to be in their early 20's or younger--great work ethic. Great food, had the Cacio e Pepe, a must try if you're there. read more

Went here for dinner last night and our pesto pappardelle with mushrooms was incredible! Everything was really fresh and you could taste the homemade pasta difference. We also got a veggie pizza, which was good but the veggies needed to caramelize a little, will just get the pie well done next time. The was good but the service and cleanliness was horrible.....I asked for more sauce due to my pasta was dry as heck...it took forever to get!!!! I understand it's a hole in the wall type of place but if you guys are busy, you need a person in the dinning area non stop to check everything out, on being stocked, and clean tables. The restaurant isn't a place I would have thought would be that good nor picked out based on the looks or Yelp photos. It's a modest little store but the food is authentic and delicious. I was ordering food for a work group and they wanted Italian. I don't know this area and this place had a good menu and pricing. The pasta was a hit. Garlic bread and salad generous size. Everyone was happy with the food. I had a pizza slice which didn't look that great but was probably the best slice of pizza I've ever had! The ingredients tasted excellent quality and fresh. INCREDIBLE!! Saw the reviews and cancelled our dinner plans to have some authentic & comforting Italian food. Definitely the right call. So tasty, well priced, and big servings! I forgot to take pictures until we dug in, but it was SO good. I hate when a chicken parm is dry, but this was delicious and juicy. 10000% getting shrimp with the alfredo. The sauce wasn't too overpowering so it was easy to eat the whole dish in one sitting. (we didn't leave a single bite left on the plates) The SERVICE!! Incredible. Such friendly staff and the food came out nice and hot. If I lived closer, I'd come regularly. If the owner is reading this, THANK YOU for opening my new favorite Italian restaurant! Listen... I felt like a was part of the Cosa Nostra eating here. I almost smashed my chair on someone's head, that's how good the food was. I think I cried twice eating the pasta and blacked out for a few minutes eating the short rib sandwich. Unreal. This is the spot. Period. The staff was very friendly. To the point where I felt like I had known them for years. The owner Alex deserves the Nobel Peace Prize. This place is the ultimate hidden gem! The service was welcoming and friendly. We ordered pasta with pink sauce and sausage and a meat lovers pizza. The pasta was a very generous serving and tasted fresh. The pink sauce had a very nice creamy texture. The sausage was generous but very, very mild. The meat lovers pizza crust was an excellent thin crust, with a very mild sauce and very, very mild sausage, pepperoni and bacon. The inside walls of the modest sized dining area is covered in a large photo making you feel like you are in an Italian village. read more

This place is amazing! Stumbled upon it on yelp and decided to try it for dinner the other night. The braised beef pasta was amazing, but then I tried the pesto and ravioli the others got that was even more amazing. Portion sizes were large and worth the money! So many different options for food and we definitely will be back to try something else. We decided that before we even got our food. The staff is very friendly. Okay, so I have been eyeing this spot for awhile now and we finally went yesterday. And boy! Have I been missing out. We got a pesto pasta with chicken and a deluxe pizza. Both items were so GOOD! You can taste the quality of the ingredients. I legit wanted to go again today because I got hooked on the pizza. Do yourselves a favor and try this place out! We will be definitely going back soon. Went here on a lark and I'm glad I did! The cozy location gives a homey vibe, but somehow they even managed to have a photo spot with miniature motor scooters. You control your dish here, choosing the pasta type, sauce, and any extras (e.g. proteins). I appreciate this since I generally go for this style of ordering in any pasta joint. The staff is friendly and they are aware of the quality of the food, which is high. The pesto tastes so fresh, I wouldn't be surprised to find there's a basil plant growing under the counter. The bolognese sauce is just creamy enough, and generously meaty. The sausage is delightfully spiced, and the meatball is excellent. I definitely will be back to taste their other offerings - I'm particularly interested in their pizza. Stay tuned for updates! read more

First the Restuarant is in a bad spot. We went anyway. Nobody was in the place and it was 5:45 pm. Ordered the spaghetti w/pink sauce and meatballs - not good at all and came highly recommended by other people. Husband got lasagna cause you really can't mess that up. They did. I think we've gotten the pasta for take-out here in the past and I think we liked it, so I wanted to give their pizza a try. It was just okay. My kids like mushrooms on their pizza so we got that and Jalapenos for my and my wife on one side. Sort of skimpy on the toppings, and I didn't taste much sauce. My family of three came here for dinner since I've wanted to come here because I saw this restaurant on Instagram. Everything was as promised: cute interior, friendly staff, and great menu. I ordered something I thought I'd like but regretted it immediately; not because it tasted bad, but because inside my foodie-heart it just wasn't what I wanted. I began to cry (drama much? I went there with my coworkers at lunch time, but we order ahead of time, when we got there everything was ready warm and ready to eat because I didn't know what to order my coworker and I decided to shared. We order chicken pesto pasta and pepperoni pizza, it was better than what I expect, big dishes and the flavor was amazing. I had been to this place a couple of times and the food was always great. The guys who works there are great and as my wife was having a big birthday party I decided to call Alex to see what he can do for us. We ended up ordering pasta for 30 people. Unfortunately, the whole wheat roll was delicious, but the tuna was a little too much on the sweet side (I have a similar complaint with the tuna at Board & Brew). Just make sure you call ahead or go on the weekend--that's usually when they have them. If you don't, you might miss out and end up with pastrami instead... but honestly, that's not a bad backup at all. The pastrami is meaty, flavorful, and pretty addictive. The tots are another highlight. They come with their honey rub (aka "fairy dust"), and it's seriously good. If you haven't tried this place yet, I definitely recommend it. It's one of those spots you'll want to come back to.

I have gone the past 2 years and never had issues getting it on the first day. This year was different. I got there around 5:05 and walked into the shop to see a lot of tables empty. I was shocked to see that. I waited in line with maybe like two people in front of me and guess what they asked of Pliny was still available. The guy working said to the people in front of me that they sold out. It was my turn I asked if they had it and the guy said that they had a line since 3pm and that they sold out of the keg. We ended up getting two beers since we went anyways but that's when things didn't add up. He kept telling all the other people that started to show up the same thing. These are reasons why it didn't add up 1) empty seats inside but had a line since 3pm and beer was released at 4pm 2) I don't think the people going for younger would just order one beer and not try other RR beers? 3) only one guy working beer counter and having to clean the tables and make sandwiches? 4) 12 oz pours of beer and keg with about 1984 oz would make it 166 beers. No way they sold 166 beers in an hour with one person working the bar and shop empty in an hour. They could have posted on their instagram or socials that they sold out but failed to do so. I'm sure a lot of people all night were disappointed to see that they didn't have it or post anything about it.

Whatever they may be make sure they are the same to avoid this. As a result they left their staff in a very vulnerable position. The staff did not handle it well. Update the hours to match. It is a simple fix to avoid this confusion and future situations.

This place is a total gem! We went to celebrate our friend's daughter's 7th birthday and it was an absolutely perfect find. The ambiance is adorable - bright and cheerful with a cozy feel with Italian touches all over the walls. It was perfect for a little birthday gathering. The staff was incredible! We arrived as a group of 15. They were so friendly and accommodating, even helping us out with a candle and some yummy cake treats for my friend's daughter to sing Happy Birthday over. It really made her day extra special. But let's talk about the food! Wow. Everything we ordered was fantastic. The pizza, Bolognese, short rib parpadelle, and chopped salad was spectacular. It was clear the ingredients were fresh and high-quality and made just the way true Italians would make it. Overall, Pasta Party is a fantastic choice for any occasion. Delicious food, adorable setting, and amazing staff - they have it all! We don't live here but anytime we are back in the Great Wolf Lodge or Disneyland area, we'll definitely be back. But this spot definitely keeps the integrity of their authentic food by making everything from scratch. Delicious, hearty pasta with great quality meat and sauce. A little hidden treasure for real Italian food is Pasta Party, both for the delicious food and the adorable interior design. The welcoming owner Alex and all of the staff provide amazing service as well, constantly grinning and making guests feel at home. I've tried the pink sauce with fettuccine sausage and shrimp, which is a fantastic pairing with the rich Alfredo sauce. Not to mention the pizza, you can see them as they prepare it by spreading the sauce and tossing the homemade dough. You shouldn't pass up the opportunity to attend a pasta party. My gfs and I always stop by here when we visit from out of town. My favorite is the short rib ravioli with pink sauce and the girls always get the gnocchi, which is made in shop. You can taste the freshness and quality ingredients. The restaurant is super adorable with a cute photo op area in the front. The owner, Alexsandro is very accommodating.
