I hate to give bad reviews, but I needed to update my previous review of this place. It's been a while since I came back from the first time I came here, and I don't know if I'll be coming back. I placed a DoorDash order for ASAP pickup of a 16" pizza. Placed the order at 4:35 pm with an ETA of 15-20 minutes. The app said it should be ready before 5 pm. Keep in mind, I intentionally placed the order early so that my 2 year old would have food at her normal dinner time. When I entered the restaurant, there were a few customers who didn't know what's going on. Neither did I. There wasn't anyone at the cashier's area. I had to flag the lady down to ask about my order. This was around 4:50 ish, so I don't mind waiting 10 minutes for my pizza. However, at 5, they didn't even start making my pizza, let alone put it in the oven. It's not until 5:21 pm that the pizza finally made its way out of the oven. It was disappointingly slow. Good news, though, I was able to write this review while I waited for my pizza and I finally got out of there by 5:23 pm. Also, one more thing to note, it felt like they were definitely short staffed and the person who was taking the orders at the front was also the person who was making the pizza. However, I noticed that she didn't use any gloves when making the pizza after transitioning from taking orders nor did I see her wash her hands. Just for that reason alone I don't know if I'd be coming back or would I recommend this place.

In-laws felt like Italian and this place had very high reviews. I would categorize this as "American Italian" and this isn't a bad thing, just know what to expect and don't compare this to what you had in Italy. They let you build your own pizza and pasta so it's a bit mis en place to customize your order to however you want. There is an "IG wall" you can take pictures at but it's located in a tiny normal strip mall and besides the website and social media pictures a pretty normal restaurant. Margherita Pizza :Tomato, Ricotta, Fresh Basil. Very sparse ricotta on this and felt like not enough cheese was used, see pictures. Cacio e Pepe: Spaghetti noodles, Pecorino Romano, Parmigiano, Olive Oil and Black Pepper. With sausage added, it was OK, too al dente and slightly under cooked. Rigatoni with Meatballs: This one I wish we ordered more of, we got it for the kids but I tried some and it tasted great.

I was told about this place a long time ago by a family member who lived in the area at the time, but had since moved away. So, really no reason for me to visit after that. Came across it again on a shopping trip for pet food and thought I'd stop by finally. Location: On the corner of Glassell and Lincoln Ave it's in a small strip mall with a private parking lot, but shared. Customer service is good and the ambiance was like walking onto a sidewalk cafe for a break after a shopping trip. Food: I wasn't feeling brave enough to chose my own plate, so I went with their braised beef ravioli in pink sauce. Wasn't expecting the mush like consistency of the filling, but I couldn't fault them the freshness of their pasta. There's just a taste you get from fresh made pasta you don't get with packaged ones. The pink sauce was divine and i liked it. Larger appetites will think the serving too small, but was just right for me since I had garlic bread. 8/10 The garlic bread wasn't my favorite. Too much oil/butter on the bread and not enough time in the oven or on the pan for a crust on the top. I was given the option of cheese on top but i passed on it. Maybe i should have gotten the cheese on top as that might have given me a crust on top of the bread. Summary: I left full and satisfied except for that garlic bread. Maybe next time I'll branch out and build my own next time. The menu looks inviting with endless combination possibilities. Adding a protein to your dish will be an extra charge. Build your own pizza is also available tool (They have signature pizzas too). However, sandwiches are not build. your own. Cute little place, just too bad it's so far away as I love pasta. Still reasonable prices for what you get and best of all:mom and pop shop. Happy Eating!!!

Pasta Trio (Rigatoni in pink sauce, spaghetti in Alfredo sauce, and penne in pesto sauce)

My boyfriend and I went on a Tuesday night and we got the pasta trio! First of all, the service was incredible, the lady there was so helpful and sweet. The food was also incredible. The pasta and sauces were sooo good. They were just right, they didn't make me feel all nasty after the fact, like some pastas do. The place was also nice! It wasn't busy so there was a good amount of open tables. I would definitely recommend dining in if you can help it. This is a MUST TRY and I will be going again!!

What can I say? I wanted carbs for lunch! Ordered a braised short rib pasta, meat lover pizza, and garlic bread. The one thing I was really eyeing was the pasta. The short ribs in there were so tender. They have nice pieces lathered onto the noodles. The noodles were nice and bouncy. They are wide and long, so fun to eat and just delicious. Would order this again! The meat lover pizza was amazing. My kids loved it, nice thin crush, nicely layered with cheese and just an overall yummy pizza. The garlic bread was a 6/10 not crazy over them. Service was good, the gal who took my order was down to earth. I waited about 15 mins until my entire order was done . Not too bad for all that food. Casual dining area and plenty of indoor seating along the wall. There is more seating towards the back as well. I love the different artwork highlighting Orange County. Super neat to look at.

I came to this place because of their reviews, but was disappointed in my experience. The restaurant was nearly empty while we were there and it took 45 minutes for our food to be ready. I understand people have off days, but the staff wasn't very friendly and seemed annoyed when asked questions (ie asked for a water cup because none were available). Braised beef ravioli - 6/10, beef was flavorful, sauce was bland BOYP (pappardelle, pink sauce, and sausage) - 3/10, the up charges on this felt excessive (ie $2 for pappardelle + $3 for pink sauce + $3.50 for sausage), the sauce was not flavorful, the pasta was cooked well, sausage was okay Garlic bread - 2/10, no garlic flavor I am tempted to try their pizza in the future, but would not re-order pasta. The price for the meal we ordered was not justified during this dining experience.

So this restaurant is a little hidden gem. If you like homemade pasta, well this place is for you. We ordered the three pasta special (penne pasta with creamy pesto, cacioe e peppe and added bacon, and braised beef pasta). We also had the chopped salad. Just delicious. The staff was great and hard working. We will definitely return....who wouldn't.

I came here with family. We all enjoyed our food and service. My sister ordered the cheese ravioli and said it was one of the best cheese ravioli dishes she has had. My mom ordered the cacio e pepe and enjoyed it. I ordered the parpadelle beef pasta and was blown away. Both my boyfriend and mom tried it and said my dish was the best. Big portion sizes. Like a normal pizzeria with seating into the back so it's not a romantic spot or overly picturesque. There's a parking lot which is convenient. Service was friendly and quick. They have a surcharge for using credit cards. Penne In pink sauce and sausage 8/10 Chicken parmigiana with spaghetti 9/10 Beef braised ravioli 9/10 - all the pastas were a bit on the salty side (prob the pink sauce) 12" pizza with half deluxe 10/10 They have a self serve soda machine but you do have to pay for a cup; they do offer water but it doesn't taste good at all. Their soda machine is all cream based drinks so if you don't like those I would bring your own water.

Food was delicious, but service was even better. The restaurant felt very homey and welcoming and the mini vespas were a nice touch. Alex recommended the short rib pasta, beef braised ravioli, or gnocchi and I opted for the short rib pasta. It was a generous portion and the pappardelle and short rib were cooked and seasoned to perfection. Alex, chef Fabio, and the rest of the team were great because you can really feel the love that was put into the food and restaurant. I will definitely be back!

My husband, our 3 boys and i stayed at a local hotel so we chose this place for dinner based off the yelp reviews. I'm happy we did because they did not disappoint. Luckily we were the only ones dining in. It's in a strip mall so it's not that big inside but cute little cozy space with friendly staff. The food was even better! Their beef braised pasta was so good! I highly recommend. My husband and I split that with a Cesar salad and we were stuffed. If I'm ever in the OC I will definitely go back

Tried Pasta Party for the first time and it definitely won't be my last. The ambience is clean, chill, and really comfortable, perfect spot to relax and enjoy a good meal. The customer service was phenomenal from start to finish. The cashier was friendly and welcoming, and even the pizza maker checked in with us to see if we had any questions about the menu, which I really appreciated. We ordered the fettuccine with pesto sauce and a margherita pizza with pepperoni. The pizza was incredible the cheese tasted high quality and made every bite super satisfying. The pasta was just as impressive. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and it was so well seasoned that we didn't need to add any extra pepper or anything else. Overall, a great experience with both food and service. Definitely looking forward to coming back!

We got: 1. the pasta trio ( pesto penne, beef ravioli , braised beef pasta ) 2. Caesar salad 3. Garlic bread Pesto was good and creamy! Beef ravioli was in a pink sauce and it was good! The meat inside was delicious ravioli. The braised beef pasta was bomb! It had mushrooms in it as well. The noodles tasted so good with this dish as well. They were flat and think. The sauce was perfect on it! The salad was good! I got the side salad size and it was just enough for two people to share it. The garlic bread was fresh and yummy! Love the atmosphere of this place! Makes you feel very welcomed!

My boyfriend and I have been visiting this place for the last few months making the hour commute because Pasta Party is the real deal! Every time we've come I've gotten different dishes and every single one feels like a favorite lol. My boyfriend sticks with the same dish every time (build your own pasta) and the owner has always made us feel at home. If you're looking for a party of flavors stop in. I ordered the lasagna and cannolis on Postmates and it was so unbelievably good that I had to go on yelp myself and write a review. The lasagna was fresh, creamy, had lots of cheese but not too much as well as a lot of sauce & I devoured every bite of it. I feel like I robbed this place by only paying $36 for REAL Caesar salad with white anchovies (the way it should be) a generous portion of Rigatoni Bolognese and washed it down with a cold IPA beer. 5th time here and i can say that the braised beef parpadelle is my favorite dish for 25$. it has a umami mushroom flavor with some sort of wine and the pasta quality and quantity is awesome! the one thing i wish this dish had, more of that amazing mushroom wine sauce. it's addicting! braised beef isn't as tender as it used to be but it's still so good a great sauce! my favorite italian dish in the area thanks pasta party! quick mobile orders! cute setting, small but quaint and small business style. wish they were open more often but i'm sure they need time to prep their food and make sure the place is up to par each day. i love that about them but also it suck's when ur craving in on a sunday haha. worth the drive. luckily i live across the street but i would definitely drive 30-45 minutes for this. if you drive far, sit down and stay and chat with the owner, very nice people all around. thanks pasta party! this dish changes lives! read more

Spotted this place driving to work one morning and have been craving it ever since I pulled them up on Yelp and saw how amazing everything looked! We stopped in last night and we're greeted by Alex who was super nice and informative of their menu items. We ordered their chopped salad, deluxe pizza and beef braised ravioli. The salad was fresh and had generous toppings with a delicious white balsamic dressing, the pizza was flavorful and the ravioli was to die for!!! We dined in and watched a lot of good food come out of the kitchen (chicken parm, pasta, sandwiches). We will definitely be back! read more

We found this little gem before we left California! The food here was very good and homemade. The build your own pasta was 13.95 which was a nice size to eat or share! We got the meat lovers pizza it was good but we decided that just getting cheese pizza to taste all the ingredients next time. My wife and I have been curious about this spot for a while. We like to help local where possible. I noticed there are boards up over the windows. I figured they got broken into. No better time to stop in, get a meal and help out. The owner is very kind and, in spite of the break-in, very positive. I asked him for a "family tin" that I could take home and feed the family with. Even though there was nothing like this on the menu, he knew what I was looking for and got it ready. Within 10 minutes I had a piping hot tray of spaghetti and meatballs tomato-basil style. He added bread and Parmesan. I got a Stubborn lemon açaí soda to go with it. Yum. Although, this won't be the most cost-effective place you will eat at, it was very good tasting spaghetti. My daughter loved the meatballs. Give it a try, or stop by and say hi. read more

My wife and I wanted meatball sandwiches. We read the Yelp! Reviews and decided to try this place. Located in the former Orange Tree Deli the service was great and ordering ahead made for little to no wait. I came early to check out the beer selection at the next door liquor store, however their selection did not have anything special for the craft beer seeker. I picked up our order to go. The pizza had a good sauce and nice thin crust. The meatball sandwiches really hit the spot and the bread was soft and fresh. We will have to try the pasta next time. read more

This restaurant fits the criteria of not "judging a book by its cover." On its surface, you will pass right by this place as it is on a corner lot with other businesses. Once you make your way inside the restaurant, even the seating is limited and very condensed. The quality is what makes this place shine. We decided to take our order to-go and eat it at the local hotel we were staying at. Very decent portions of pasty for the price. It is pricey once you make your own pasta, I believe a build your own stared at $14 and added protein was about $4. The people were very nice. Over a week ago when I was visiting OC, my sister-in-law recommended that we try Pasta Party. It's a cozy little place in the City of Orange with tasty food. I ordered the build your own pasta. I had the Rigatoni with creamy tomato sauce. It was delicious. The staff was kind enough. Everything was made from scratch and it tasted like it but also a tad pricey. For a pasta bowl and 3 slices of bread, it was a little over $18. It was $3 extra for the creamy tomato sauce, which I thought was a tad expensive. But besides that, I would come back to try their other specialties. read more

Found this place on Yelp and figured, it has party in the title so we can't go too wrong! Their very nice staff helped us decide, then we ordered at the counter then found a table. We split a fettuccine with blush sauce and a (very large) meatball and a 12" margherita pizza. The fettuccine was delicious - sauce was very tasty. The pizza crust was good but but soggy in the middle and they sprinkled Parmesan all over the top of the pizza, which I am not used to on a margherita pizza and felt it took away from the fresh flavors. I wish I could have shown you the food we did eat...but as soon as our dishes arrived we devoured them. The flavor was so unique and delicious!! We ordered the braised beef ravioli, the penne bolognese, and a dinner salad. I can't explain how good this was. There were flavors in there that delighted my tastebuds!! We were looking for good pizza around the neighborhood, as we were visiting the area. I saw the good reviews of the Pasta Party pizza on Yelp so we tried. Plus, it was really close by where we were staying. I was blown away by the tasty, soft and chewy crust of their Margherita pizza. The sauce had the perfect tanginess that mixed well with the fresh mozzarella and sliced tomatoes. I had to to stop myself from over eating. The family finished all but one piece. That's because it wasn't a slice of the pepperoni pie, which the kids finished. Superb pizza! Totally hit the spot. read more

the best food and even better service!!! we were not expecting this pulling up to the place. the kiddos and i ordered: meat lovers pizza gnocchi spaghetti all were SO YUMMY! the gnocchi is so soft and pillowy. you can tell the owner is really proud of his business and happy to serve his customers. he's constantly checking on everyone and making sure that his food is loved! love finding hidden gems like this. will be supporting this business a thousand times over. thank you for making our experience so great! also the tiramisu..... Amazing food and amazing service! I ordered for delivery and they went above and beyond! They called to make sure my order was successfully delivered as they use DoorDash. They even noticed that the delivery was missing the garlic bread that I ordered. I didn't even open my delivery yet and they already called to notify me. Most places wouldn't even care. They immediately drove over themselves to deliver my missing garlic bread. Safe to say that they have amazing service and that care about their customers! Definitely returning and ordering again!! Very nice people here very welcoming. Cacio e Pepe was fair, the pasta was good aldente but comparing it to others it falls a bit short, it's too peppery, and I believe a different cheese wheel is in order as this one did not have the robust flavor and stickiness one would expect from this dish. Braised beef ravioli was slightly above average, temperature was too low which is a big minus, and sauce was too thick and sparse. Garlic bread was for real garlic, good but bread was not dense, it was fresh just not dense. Wife loved the Pinot that's a huge plus. Hopefully some critique will improve this place because we want to come back. read more

Wow ! That is all I can truly say about this establishment . From the food to the amazing customer service . After a long day I was craving some good pasta . I found this gem on yelp and decided go give it a try . Walking in the decor was so aesthetically pleasing . I was greeted and even explained the menu as it was my first time . I ordered the chicken parm for dine in and a deluxe pizza to go . I sat down and was brought warm bread that just hit the spot . My food was brought to me and my pizza was placed in a warmer so it would be kept warm , so thoughtful . I was asked how the food was and it was just such a great experience . Unfortunately, the whole wheat roll was delicious, but the tuna was a little too much on the sweet side (I have a similar complaint with the tuna at Board & Brew). If you're in the mood for a good tuna salad sandwich, I suggest Jersey Mikes. If you're in the mood for any other kind of sandwich and don't mind waiting, go to Cortina's!

Just make sure you call ahead or go on the weekend--that's usually when they have them. If you don't, you might miss out and end up with pastrami instead... but honestly, that's not a bad backup at all. The pastrami is meaty, flavorful, and pretty addictive. The tots are another highlight. They come with their honey rub (aka "fairy dust"), and it's seriously good. If you haven't tried this place yet, I definitely recommend it. It's one of those spots you'll want to come back to.

I have gone the past 2 years and never had issues getting it on the first day. This year was different. I got there around 5:05 and walked into the shop to see a lot of tables empty. I was shocked to see that. I waited in line with maybe like two people in front of me and guess what they asked of Pliny was still available. The guy working said to the people in front of me that they sold out. It was my turn I asked if they had it and the guy said that they had a line since 3pm and that they sold out of the keg. We ended up getting two beers since we went anyways but that's when things didn't add up. He kept telling all the other people that started to show up the same thing. These are reasons why it didn't add up 1) empty seats inside but had a line since 3pm and beer was released at 4pm 2) I don't think the people going for younger would just order one beer and not try other RR beers? 3) only one guy working beer counter and having to clean the tables and make sandwiches? 4) 12 oz pours of beer and keg with about 1984 oz would make it 166 beers. No way they sold 166 beers in an hour with one person working the bar and shop empty in an hour. They could have posted on their instagram or socials that they sold out but failed to do so. I'm sure a lot of people all night were disappointed to see that they didn't have it or post anything about it.

It is a simple fix to avoid this confusion and future situations.

The ambiance is adorable - bright and cheerful with a cozy feel with Italian touches all over the walls. It was perfect for a little birthday gathering. The staff was incredible! We arrived as a group of 15. They were so friendly and accommodating, even helping us out with a candle and some yummy cake treats for my friend's daughter to sing Happy Birthday over. It really made her day extra special. But let's talk about the food! Wow. Everything we ordered was fantastic. The pizza, Bolognese, short rib parpadelle, and chopped salad was spectacular. It was clear the ingredients were fresh and high-quality and made just the way true Italians would make it. Overall, Pasta Party is a fantastic choice for any occasion. A little hidden treasure for real Italian food is Pasta Party, both for the delicious food and the adorable interior design. The welcoming owner Alex and all of the staff provide amazing service as well, constantly grinning and making guests feel at home. I've tried the pink sauce with fettuccine sausage and shrimp, which is a fantastic pairing with the rich Alfredo sauce. Not to mention the pizza, you can see them as they prepare it by spreading the sauce and tossing the homemade dough. You shouldn't pass up the opportunity to attend a pasta party. My gfs and I always stop by here when we visit from out of town. My favorite is the short rib ravioli with pink sauce and the girls always get the gnocchi, which is made in shop. You can taste the freshness and quality ingredients. The restaurant is super adorable with a cute photo op area in the front. The owner, Alexsandro is very accommodating.
