When I asked the employee about it, he didn't really explain that it was more of a sweet bread; he simply agreed that it was fluffy. Had I been craving a sweet bread, I might have enjoyed it more. The walnut cinnamon braid was even more disappointing. One bite was enough for me to decide it wasn't worth the calories! I wanted that first bite to be full of cinnamon, butter, and walnuts--the kind of bite that makes you immediately want another. Instead, it was bland and doughy. We had taken the pastries with us to enjoy once we got home. Although edible, I don't think I would order that again. I would have preferred to try their croissant style pastries but we were limited when we visited around noon. Maybe they had better, fresher options earlier in the day.
