It's so hard to find a really good, local Thai place and I think I found my go to Thai spot! Everything was amazing here. We got pineapple fried rice and a couple curries. That curry broth was thiccc, as it should be. The curries were rich in flavor and high quality, as well as their Thai tea (not watered down or premix). Service was great too. Tried this place for the first time yesterday. So friendly, great service. I had chow mein noodles with chicken and the green papaya salad. Both quite good. The noodles had a bit of sweetness when i wasn't expecting that but it was not overwhelming. The salad was really good and fresh but I thought just a bit pricey but a nice portion. This small business located in the heart of downtown Upland is delicious and the dining experience is so relaxing. The low lighting and soothing music makes the experience above and beyond. The staff is also very friendly and attentive. Our cup was never empty and they packed our leftovers so neatly. The Thai ribs are incredible and served with a delicious side of sauce that you'll want to dip everything. The classic pad see ew was delicious and could be served with chicken, shrimp, and even tofu! I can't wait to go back and try different dishes. To right I had the Tom Yum Sea Bass which was tender and flavorful. Joyce's Salmon is one of our favorites and the curries are all fantastic. I came here a few weeks with my family and the food was delicious. I believe the person who helped us that day was the owner, she was the sweetest person, took care of everything we needed. Notably, Patra's restaurant just six weeks old, boasts fine dining with owner Joyce Patra personally preparing all dishes from scratch. She offers sake, beer and wine and specialty teas. I would highly recommend Patra Thai Dining in downtown Upland. The food is great. Joyce the owner always comes out to thank the customers at the end of the meal. The staff sincerely appreciates the business. The ambiance is classy and arty. My favorite entree is the Spicy Cashew Chicken. It is more delightfully tangy than spicy. There is plenty of chicken offered plus broccoli, carrots, and cashews, and your choice of white or brown rice. I visit once a week, and the prices are quite reasonable. read more

This place has fantastic food! We've been there twice now, and each time our whole party was happy with everything they ordered. The service is excellent, and the staff is friendly and attentive. One of our party has Celiac disease, and the staff was very knowledgeable with their recommendations for which menu items would be safe for them.
