So came for an engagement party. The restaurant was completely packed with multiple parties. They did not turn anyone away and found a way to seat everybody in this place. So it was a bit crowded. I don't know if it's like this on a regular night. The servers were a bit overwhelmed, but still pretty attentive for the massive parties that were present. They make a big deal out of a celebration that's happening, which is nice. We had the family meal so that's $80 per person, not including tax and gratuity. It comes with multiple courses unlimited sangria, red or white red or white wine. I think beer and a tray of desserts the food was pretty good overall definitely a very filling like oh my God I think it was like seven courses maybe more. They had no issues with giving to go containers to take home the leftovers. The tiramisu the toasted almond, and it was kinda like this Nutella, kind of like pastry thing or pastry filled with Nutella rather all of the desserts were delicious. The sangria was not strong. Had a couple glasses never felt tipsy so take away what you will from that. Overall good experience would love to see what it looks like when it's not crowded with over 100 people in the restaurant.

Italian born and bred... dedicated cook and critic... the food at every location I've been to hits! However this is my OG original location, and still one I hold dear to my heart. Through the years prices have increased just like every other place.. but unlike other restaurants the portions haven't shrunken...Family style is still King and a true representation of our culture and the endless food at family meals. I'm especially fond of their vodka sauce and Alfredo... all the seafood captions and now their newest addition the tomahawk thursdays. Service is always impeccable, with the waiters remembering me after a long hiatus. The owner and his family have kept tradition well preserved and this place always speaks to my heart. Dress up or in jeans, or even in NYPD UNIFORM and you will eat comfortably. Highly recommend and bring your appetite! Love you Patrizia's!! (Ps been going to this location for well over 10 yrs and never disappointed!

Service here is truly 10/10! The staff here are super friendly and welcoming. I ordered for pickup through the website and there was a glitch with the app, but they fixed it right away and even offered me a drink while I waited. Really appreciated how kind and attentive they were! I got a pasta and it came with bread and a side salad. The bread was so soft and even came with olive oil for dipping. I ordered pasta di Vinci that came with shrimp and some crab but I think I'm more of a carbonara girl so I would come back and get that next time plus a dessert! I had my pup with me since I was picking up to go and she got a bunch of compliments. She said she would come back for outdoor dining. The outdoor space is super cute and decorated with flowers. Overall, would recommend!

Patrizia's is definitely an old school place with a great family style prix fixe menu. $70 for 10 savory courses (burrata, pizza, eggplant, clams, calamari, octopus, shrimp, pasta, chicken parm, steak) plus dessert, unlimited wine, sangria, and beer was a great deal for NYC. It's an extra $5 for lamb chops (comes with the steak course), it's worth it. The atmosphere was very lively with birthdays every hour. The staff will sing and bring out the dessert with a sparkler. The best dish was the Fioretti pasta (money bags) which is their signature dish. I was full after 7 courses but I still ate it because mama did not raise a quitter. Service was very fast and friendly despite having to serve 34 people in our group. The only con is that there's not many bathrooms so better go to the bathroom early. I would come back!

Patrizia's is for the fun atmosphere that is perfect for any celebration. Their pre-fix menu makes it's so easy and great for large groups, so you find many people celebrating everything from birthdays to weddings here. After some research for dinner spots, Patrizia's was the most accommodating with no minimums or rental fees (although you will be celebrating with everyone else in the restaurant as they have no private rooms). I ended up having my wedding dinner here with a group of 17 and it was a blast! More than half of us arrived almost an hour early, but they easily accommodated our group with bread and sangria while we waited. The tables are in one long table, so that did make it a bit tricky getting in and out for some of us though for large groups. Otherwise, all the courses of food started rolling in once we started. For $70 per person, you get burrata, eggplant parmigiana, Margherita pizza, calamari toscano, shrimp, baked clams, grilled baby pulpo, meatballs, fioretti pasta, skirt steak, chicken parmigiana, dessert variety, and unlimited sangria, wine, and beer. The portions of food is a bit small, but with so many courses you do end up quite stuffed by the end of the meal. While I can't say the food was anything special, the entire experience made it worthwhile. They also had a photographer taking photos and then selling them framed. It was pricey at $22 per photo and a bit scammy, but many of us ended up getting it because it was a special occasion. They sure know their target audience. While a 20% gratuity was included, I was also charged an extra $56 operating fee, which was kind of random and unexpected. Overall, great spot for any celebration and will make planning super easy with a large group.

Had dinner here last week for the first time. We had a 7 pm reservation and was seated right away. The atmosphere and ambiance reminded me of Carmines. We ordered calamari as an appetizer. The calamari was chewy as opposed to fried. I ordered the shrimp penne alla vodka pasta and my acquaintance ordered the spicy Rigatoni in pink sauce with crab meat. To be honest, although the hospitality here is phenomenal, the food isn't spectacular; it's okay. We had a bottle of rose as our choice of beverage. This is a place that was on my Williamsburg list for a while and I'm glad that I was able to give it a try.

This was such a fun restaurant. Love the vibes and the celebratory ambiance. The staff knows how to have a good time but service was ok though but the atmosphere makes up for it. The food is decent nothing crazy but you go here to celebrate something and have fun in a huge group. Would definitely recommend

Wow, this place has taken a nose dive from what it used to be. I should have known when I walked in and there were only maybe 20 people where it was always packed on a Friday night. Sangria was grape juice. $22 for 5 shrimp so overcooked the shells wouldn't come off, who leaves shells on a shrimp cocktail? When I was served spaghetti with my clams , I was told "no, that's linguine"! Really??? Last time dining here for shore. Not to mention raised prices "substantially ". No thank you.

My coworkers and I decided to come here for a birthday celebration. The place itself is fairly large and it seems to be a good place to host events. They do have a pre-fixed menu - $70 per person with a variety of food (including appetizers, main meal and dessert) and it also includes unlimited wine and sangria. I will say the sangria was not very strong at all but if you eat / drink a lot this is a great menu to go with. Otherwise - I would recommend selecting items on the menu, the portion sizes are huge and all the food is pretty good. -Burrta: really yummy but nothing too special about this -Eggplant Parmigiana: this was pretty good and I'm not a huge fan of eggplants -Margherita Pizza: all their pizzas are very good but this one is my personal favorite -Calamari Toscano: another solid choice on the menu -Family Style Shrimp: Also yummy, the shrimps were huge -Baked Clams: Honestly not a huge fan of clams so I would not recommend this dish -Fioretti Pasta (Money Bags): So creamy and delicious - highly recommend this -Skirt Steak and Chicken Parmigiana: the skirt steak was absolutely delicious, great flavor and so tender Overall - great vibes and in the end they bring out a shared dessert platter which was really yummy. Would recommend coming here for a birthday celebration. It is on the more expensive side but if you can drink / eat a lot then highly recommend.

Service service service! It was excellent from the second we came through the door. We ordered a couple of drinks a pizza, salad, and the bolognese. The food was the standard Italian, it was seasoned well and quite good. Will be back.

So my father and his fiancé were visiting the town and wanted to set up a dinner and this time i wasn't in charge. (Wicked smile) Like who wants to set up reservations for 20 that actually turn into reservations for 12 and then 15 (I know right) sounds pretty chaotic. But you would not have known. This place managed my party so well like hats OFF! Between the large group, differing opinions and comings and going's I know it was a lot. And they had this PERFECT Pre-fixed menu of Italian freaking Awesomeness. (And I thought I wanted brunch). No- I want this. I want this right now as I write this review. I can't tell you everything that came but I do know that it was $65pp and had unlimited Sangria. I remember that perfectly. And then there were appetizers; baked clams, calamari, grilled octopus, bread, burrata... 5/5/5 And then there were pasta dishes to share. 5/5 Then there was pizza (here's where it started getting tricky for me). There was eggplant parmigiana, there was steak, the men had the lamb (I know right) some folks complained but at that point we were all full. 5/5 And then there was like a smorgasbord of desserts to choose from and cappuccinos and I lived to tell about it all. 5/5 It was the best thing for a large party shout out to my sister who set this up. Parked right outside. Clean, loud, funny, helpful, charming and top of the line excellent service. They had a photographer on site 5/5 my family loved that. The food was perfect it was so good every single little thing I got to try. I was stuffed. People took food home. It was worth every penny. 5/5 I would absolutely and highly recommend!!

    Do they allow dogs?

    Yes

Many reviewers complimented the restaurant for the way they accommodate large groups. Can the outdoors accommodate a large group or inside only? If inside only, are they able to open windows for ventilation?

They can accommodate a large group outside. But the windows and doors open on all sides for ventilation.

How big are the portions? Like if I was to pay for 3 people for the family style would it feed 5 people if we're sharing bits of everything.

They serve to however many people are in your party. Now if you guys are light eaters, it may be too much. Yes, if sharing. When we get to the pasta, some of it comes home, lol... Hope this helps.

Do you guys have a private room?

    Nope

Hi there? Can a group do a mix of family style and individual plates? Some of my party is allergic to the family style dishes. Can they order off individual menu items and not be charged the family price? Thanks!

Why not? I am sure they will do whateva you ask, lol. That place is awesome.

It is definitely the best pizza in the US; I say this even after visiting Frank Pepe and Sally's in New Haven, and it's honestly not even close. On our last day before heading back to SF, we ordered a massive whole pie: half burrata, half pepperoni. It nailed the classic NYC slice with a thin, crisp crust and the perfect balance of cheese and sauce. It was so good that my daughter finished her burrata half over three separate sittings: at the shop, on the plane, and once she got home. The pie just kept calling to her! Be prepared for long lines, but it is worth it (and the Brooklyn location definitely has shorter lines than the Manhattan spots). It's not really a sit-down place, so you just have to grab a spot at the bar-top tables if you can find room. The service was good and fast. Situated at the corner of East 15th Street and Avenue J, the establishment was owned and managed by Domenico DeMarco (1936-2022), but now his family continues that legacy. Food critics and bloggers frequently rank it among the top pizzerias in New York City. Di Fara has received numerous accolades, including being named the "Best pizza in New York" by publications such as New York and Serious Eats. The New York Times described the restaurant as "one of the most acclaimed and sought-after pizza shops in New York City." In 2011, Zagat ranked it as the top pizza restaurant in the city, and in 2013, Frommer's called its pizza "the Best Hand-Made Pizza in New York City." Chef Anthony Bourdain also expressed admiration for the restaurant's pizza. I had long hoped to visit Di Fara, so I decided to make a trip from Connecticut. Upon entering, my son and I observed that it was quite busy. There is also a window for ordering, but we chose to go inside to order our food to experience the atmosphere fully. We each ordered a freshly prepared Sicilian slice. Unlike some places, there was no pre-made pizza on display. Each slice is made to order, and it takes about twenty-five minutes to prepare. When we received our pizza, it was notably greasy. The Sicilian slices resembled a full meal, topped with garlic and pepperoni. The garlic was quite prominent and flavorful, adding a nice punch which I liked. The pepperoni was crispy, and the undercarriage had a nice crunch, though it was also quite oily. In my personal opinion, it wasn't the best slice I've ever tasted. However, I understand that when the owner, Dom, was alive, the pizza was considered exceptional by many. I would rate it around 3.5 stars, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to experience pizza from one of New York's most iconic establishments.

Now back home in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the great white north of snow that never ends, I finally tried the frozen Di Fara pepperoni pizza from Target no less. Sorry Joe's, but this is on par with your pizza (if it was frozen). Dave Portnoy was right with his high review. This pizza is very good. The thick cut pepperoni, great basil, and the crisp chewy crust was excellent for a frozen pizza. Nice under carriage as well. I cooked the pizza at 480 degrees in an electric pizza oven for 10 minutes, and the result was very good. I added a drizzle of hot honey, and it was spectacular (okay, I also added some fresh picked jalapeños as well). The pizza was hot and melted in the center, and the crust was very crisp, but still had some chew. Wow. This was the best frozen pizza I have had. Bar none. New York, you spoiled me when it came to pizza. Now I can get a taste of New York at home. Great job! I may or may not eat the last 3 pieces currently sitting in the fridge before bed.

So, eating at this restaurant before the Bruce Springsteen concert, the other night was a thrill. Ate with lifelong friends. We shared several appetizers, including meatballs, a margarita, pizza, bake clams, and spicy shrimp. All were delicious. I had a seafood pasta with squid ink that was memorable. Lots of seafood and the pasta was fantastic! Nice bottle of wine at a reasonable price. Good service. Frankly, I think the prices were cheaper than what I pay in Austin area, and the food and venue were authentic and much better than in Texas!

Fresh mozzarella, a nicely thin crisped crust, sweet tomato sauce, and fresh basil makes this simple pizza taste great. The fried calamari also impressed. It tasted notably fresh--light, clean, and not overly chewy like pre-frozen versions can sometimes be. While I can't say for certain, it had that just-prepared quality that makes a difference. The Caprese salad was a great way to start the meal, with fresh tomatoes, creamy burrata, and a balsamic drizzle was a nice light start. The atmosphere leans old-school Italian, which adds to the charm and character. Service was fine--nothing remarkable, but no major issues either. That said, my overall rating takes a big hit solely for the restaurants ridiculous tipping policy choices rather than the food itself. The automatic 20% gratuity added to the bill was frustrating. The menu does indicate that 18%, will automatically apply, or will be 20% for parties of six or more. We were only three people, so it felt inconsistent and unnecessary. On top of that, the added cost for credit card usage didn't help. I don't mind tipping for good service! In fact, I tip well--but I prefer having the choice and I'm old school so it's the principle of the matter. Being forced into it, takes away from an otherwise enjoyable meal. Bottom line: the food is strong and worth trying, but the billing practices leave a bad taste. If those were adjusted, this could easily be a higher-rated experience.
