I knew…read moreexactly which car I wanted, but there were a couple of other good options too, including a Model S. They (Mario and some other guy) acted like they didn't even want to give a test drive of ANY car. Because I'd just been in an accident, I needed to make sure the suspension actually felt like a luxury car. LOOK--I've been buying cars for a looooooooong time, especially sports and LUXURY cars. This was hands-down the ABSOLUTE WORST car-buying experience I've ever had. I was looking at three cars I was ready to buy TODAY, and what these idiots didn't realize is I needed to leave with a car today. While I was waitin to testdrive the Model S, they kept asking me, "How are you going to pay for it?"--as if I'm broke--before even letting me drive the cars, AND as if I OWE them an answer... DUDE, we're not even near that part of the process yet! THIS is the WEIRDEST SHI* I've ever experienced in my entire f*ing life. At Lexus they wine and dine you, free cappuccinos, snacks pastries popcorn.. give as much time is necessary getting you comfortable in the dealership. This is why Ive spend $70,000, $45,000 on a car there. These idiots didn't get the memo!! So OF COURSE I left when they made it feel uncomfortable. I go to another car dealership which didn't have anything I was interested in. but I met this young Asian guy from Korea who was also car shopping. he was looking for a convertible Mustang or convertible bmw. elegant cars had a convertible BMW in his price range! they LITERALLY had a DOUBLE SALE OPPORTUNITY!! I came back specifically to test drive the Tesla Model S, butNOW i brought this new friend who was ready to buy rt away... and again they're asking how I'm going to buy it without first making sure I even like the car. then even though the BMW convertible is listed online for sale they told the Korean boy that the BMW wasn't working at all..! I was like wtf!? I asked about the car earlier they never told me that! #HELLASHADY That's not how you sell ANY f*ing thing. Danny brought out a paper with the Model S's price, title and taxes total of almost 30k and I'm wondering why! like I already know what the price is, the price is no problem for me, and I STILL hadn't test drove the car yet!!! so it was just the strangest interaction that just was hella awkward which challenges explanation. Their hella f*ed attitude lost an EASY $30K LAY-DOWN. All they had to do was let me test-drive the two cars I was interested in. I would have paid and left! But in this scenario I simply just left LOL #DUMB #EXTRADUMB I honestly started questioning whether they sell cars AT ALL.

I called Elegant Auto Sales and scheduled a next day appointment with Mario for the car I was interested in. When I arrived, I was quickly greeted by Mario and another employee there. After visually inspecting the car, I went on a test drive with Mario. I appreciated the fact that I wasn't rushed during the test drive, unlike other dealerships I've been to in the past. It gave me the confidence that they weren't trying to hide any issues with the car. Satisfied with the test drive, I decided to purchase the car that same day. When I mentioned I would be paying in cash, Mario offered to drive me to the bank so I can purchase a cashier's check. I've visited numerous dealerships before with the intention of paying in cash, but none of them have ever extended such an offer. Since I had taken an Uber to the dealership, I took Mario up on his offer. I've owned the car for six months now and it's running great with zero problems. I've noticed that most of the negative reviews are from people who chose to finance their car and are angry with the high interest rates. If you're paying cash, like I did, you won't have to worry about that. My only complaint is that it took two months to get my car registration in the mail. I don't know whether this was the dealership's fault or the DMV's fault, but it made things really inconvenient for me since I was unable to insure the car without the registration. TL;DR: If you're paying cash, this is a good place to buy a car. I'll definitely be recommending this car dealership to people I know.

When I dropped off my car, the paint on the hood was in good condition with no clear coat damage or chipping. After picking up my vehicle, I immediately noticed multiple areas of chipped paint -- some down to primer and even bare metal -- along with visible clear coat damage and stripped coating on the hood. I brought this to the attention of the service manager, but instead of properly addressing the concern, I was told the damage was caused by "rocks" and that the clear coat stripping was due to "water penetration." These explanations do not make sense given that the vehicle was in the dealership's possession during the service and did not have these issues beforehand. I The vehicle was also washed by the dealership during service. Given that the paint damage and stripped coating appeared immediately after pickup, it is reasonable to conclude the damage may have occurred during that process, especially considering the severity of the clear coat removal." This appears to be a clear case of lot damage that occurred while the vehicle was under the dealership's care. The lack of accountability and dismissal of the issue by management is extremely concerning. I am not questioning warranty coverage -- I am pointing out that my vehicle was returned to me in worse condition than when I left it, which should fall under dealership responsibility. Keep in mind this is a 2024 Mustang - damage to the paint at that severity and not taking accountability is not professional. I am hoping this can still be resolved properly, but based on my current experience, I would advise others to thoroughly inspect their vehicles before and after service.

Yesterday I requested these parasites give buyer's order and I never received it. That's when I should have walked out. Yesterday, hours upon hours of my time was wasted because they were trying to pressure me into accepting financing from them. My own fault for letting these crooks waste my time yesterday. And my own fault for coming back the second day to let them waste my time some more. For those who dont know or too lazy to Google it: A buyer's order is an official, itemized document from a car dealership that outlines the exact agreed-upon terms, pricing, and vehicle details before a car purchase is finalized. Car salesmen often resist giving out a buyer's order because it allows you to leave, shop their price at competing dealerships, or secure cheaper outside financing from your own bank or credit union. A legal buyer's order forces them to tie every single dollar to a legitimate, accountable line item. Without it, they could treat your wallet like a moving target and tack on hidden fees and other charges like they just tried to pull on me today. Absolutely disgusting. I came in with my own financing from my employer's credit union. My credit union approved me for $19,604. Today, Car Lux tried to get me to pay $2400 for some made up fees when I have still never received a buyer's order. They showed me a print out of a DEALER MANAGEMENT SYSTEM PORTAL showing the price of the car. The manager straight up lied to my face and told me that printout of that portal was a buyer's order. Are you kidding me???? These people prey on naive people and they literally BANK on people being stupid enough to fall for their BS; your inability to think critically makes them money. I asked again for a buyer's order, and the employee Ken disappeared for what seemed to be almost 10 mins, only to come back with what I didnt ask for. He handed me a RETAIL INSTALLMENT SALE CONTRACT. That is NOT a buyer's order!!! I have wasted precious hours of my life dealing with these delinquents just to get a car!! I have been at this place since 12:00 pm!! When I received the retail installment sale contract, I prepared to leave. On my way out the door I said "I know you people wont make a commission off of me if I use 100% of my financing, which is why you are trying to charge me fees you just made up when I haven't received a buyer's order". I walked out the door and across the lot to leave the premises, and a car salesman I havent had any contact with yesterday or today prior to this ordeal popped out of nowhere and assaulted me trying to snatch the retail installment contract papers out of my hand!! He said the papers were his. Um excuse me these papers have MY information on them!! There is nothing confidential about you on any of these papers!! There is a review on Car Lux's Google review with someone saying this place tacked on the optional AMO to increase their sister's loan. This exactly the same BS they tried to pull on me. They asked me to pay the $2,400 loan increase. They also pressured that person's sister to use the full amount of her pre approved loan. That is exactly what the manager here tried to do to me by using my credit union's 125% bank limit as an excuse to max out my loan for their own profit. I was approved for $19,604 and they tried to increase the loan to $22,0004!!! And tried to pressure me into paying them the $2400 out of pocket to drive the car off the lot. What a bunch of disgusting lowlife subhumans. I will be sure to sue this place for assault!

Due to protests I ended up holding off a few days but made them fully aware I would come up to see the car. I stopped getting replies to my e-mail after that. The day before I was coming up I couldn't get a hold of anyone, I had requested to get additional photos of the front and rear bumpers' because they were blurry online when you zoom in. I got nothing. The car has been listed since March but they didn't seem to caring much to sell it --- I ended up making the trip ( I had a list of cars to see in the LA/OC area) and stopped here first because I was very interested in the vehicle which was listed a reasonable price, I wasn't even going to haggle the price. I walked around the small lot for about 5-8 minutes, inspected the car from the outside but never got approached. Finally walked in to get some attention but I felt like I was in their way instead. The guy gave me the keys willingly to check out (which is why I didn't give one star), he let me just have my time with it. But seemed like he was getting a new car dropped off, he didn't really care much for me and there legit was no other customers there to help out. Made my way off the lot pretty fast after sitting in the car for two minutes . Bad vibes and very disappointed. The other half of this, their website offers getting value for a trade-in. When I let him know of my interest and letting him know I had a trade in, he quickly told me they do not take trade in's at all because they have no money. Maybe take it down from the website as an option? All in all, the guy seemed bugged about something rather than me being there as a customer. He didn't even try and sell to me, he had no interest of talking to me. For someone who claims to not have money, you would think they'd try harder to make a sale. Ended up buying a 2022 BMW 540i from a dealership in Downey, paid a little more than I wanted but at least they tried and got the Gen 2 B58 so at least the day ended good.

I need work on my A/C, so after having it diagnosed, I have been looking around for different quotes on the parts and labor to be done. I figured, this is Volkswagen. I have a Volkswagen. Let's get a quote. Now, everyone knows dealerships are more expensive. Why? Who in the helm knows? It stands to reason that since they are the originators of all of these cars and their parts, they should actually be cheaper. But, they aren't. That's not necessarily a shock to anyone. I get it. What should be a shock to everyone? Is just how much more this place is charging. This is the second time I have come in here asking for a quote. The first time, I needed a latch for my trunk. The little lip cling mechanism stopped working for whatever reason? They wanted more than $400 for this one part. WITHOUT labor. I looked around for all of five minutes online. And found a genuine VW part for $100. Then? I found the same generic Parton Amazon for, $13.... You read that correctly.Thirteen.... Dollars! I thought I would buy the $100 part, and just get the $13 part to hold me over until I got paid next and then get the VW part. Thinking the $13 part obviously wouldn't last. That was almost three years ago. And turns out it was as easy as a few screws and a single connection to fix. And I did it myself in twenty minutes. Today, and the reason for this review? I have already gotten few different quotes regarding my A/C today. So, I know what the pricing should be in a general sense. Apparently, Volkswagen has absolutely no clue what it should be. These people gave me a quote for JUST LABOR. He said that his tech would have to come inside to give me a quote on the part. However, when he handed me the quote for JUST LABOR mind you, it was more than double what everywhere else quoted me, with the labor. That is insane! And everyone who thinks of going here? Should know that they are just FLAT OUT, POINT BLANK, NO OTHER WAY TO PUT IT, NO WAY TO DRESS IT UP, CALL IT WHAT IT IS, UNJUSTLY RIPPING YOU OFF. If you bring your vehicle here to be worked on? You either have more money than you know what to do with and don't care about wasting it? Or, you're a fool. There is no justification for these prices. ESPECIALLY in this economy. Their mechanics aren't four times better than other mechanics. And their parts, CLEARLY, as the evidence has shown me? Clearly are not worth 34 times what somewhere else charges. I genuinely can't not understand why ANYONE, would ever bring their vehicle here knowing how badly they are ripping you off. If you need your VW worked on? Helm! Hit me up! I will literally do the footwork of finding you a place for a small fee. And it will still come out to three times less what you would pay here! Guess what? Other places guarantee and warranty their work too. This dealership is nothing special. If you think otherwise? You understand nothing about anything. And need to have your head examined. Also? Since you have do much extra money lying around g around and just like giving it away? Hit me up. I need it more than you or them. I just HAD to let people know just how badly this place is ripping off their customers. They should be ashamed of themselves. It's disgusting frankly. Especially today. Gross. I don't need or expect charity. But I certainly don't need to be ripped off and insulted. You genuinely need to have your head examined if you read this and still bring your car here for work. The only thing I will say for them? Is that the employees on the maintenance side of the building have always treated me politely and friendly when I have shown up. So they have that. But that doesn't warrant paying four times what you would for the same work elsewhere. The employees on the car sales side for the most part have been cool as well. However, there was one guy the first time I was there looking who basically treated me like I was beneath him helping me. Though this was a few years ago. This review however, is about the maintenance department. So i will leave it at that. You either don't care about wasting money? Or you are simply clueless and foolish, if you bring your vehicle here for service. Nuff said. I had to warn the people.
