First let me say the establishment is clean with a lot of open space. I'm not sure exactly who the owners are, but every single time I've gone a very nice middle aged women takes my order. First of all I want to say The people at the front counter are the sweetest and the kindest people. Now for the food. I got the egg and cheese croissant sandwich. unfortunately it wasn't good at all. The croissant was undercooked and the liquid egg was cooked in the plastic container in the microwave. Is no secret it's a very unhealthy way to cook food. Unfortunately that's not what I like. If you're driving on the 5 and want something somewhat different than the regular subway and if you don't care about microwave you can stop by here. Overall I don't think I will come back. But the people are really nice and sweet that's why they got two stars. read more

Had their Iced Vietnamese Coffee today. It was good, I just feel it needed a little more sweetness, but other than that it was just what I needed. My niece and I were looking for coffee for our morning shopping trip, and we came across this gem! They have amazing Vietnamese Coffee which can be iced or hot they also have blended coffees other normal coffee drinks and BOBBA DRINKS! Our drinks were amazing but it doesn't stop there the smell of fresh baked goods made in store was so amazing we had to grab one of their croissants that they have with fillings ranging from cream cheese and strawberry to bacon and cheese! The owners were so sweet and very helpful! They also make Vietnamese sandwiches which we will be getting later today! So excited to keep trying this new place. read more

On a road trip down to LA (Hogswarts!), we stopped by for some sandwiches for the nice 4 hour drive down (moved here near Tracy). We got an assortment of sandwiches and it was GREAT! Coming from a San Jose native, I can tell you these sandwiches are good! We had leftovers that lasted us the next day and when thrown in the fridge, it still tasted good the next day. Fresh ingredients made it taste awesome. Also got some desserts and man...filled us up. My cousin from Australia loved it and it filled him up. No need for gas station grub like our usual road trips. I will be coming back here since the 1 hour plus ride to SJ sometimes isn't worth it for sandwiches but the 30 minute drive down to Patterson is! read more

Like every other reviewer, I was super excited for a boba place in Patterson. I really wanted to like this place but it just wasn't very good. I had the Thai tea boba & while it was OK, the flavor tasted a bit sour before the ice started to melt into the drink. My friend had the strawberry & said it tasted very artificial. There is only a small selection of boba flavors & they all come blended with ice. We both tried the turkey avocado croissant sandwiches. Their sandwiches all come with a bunch of stuff on them so being a little picky there were several things I told them to leave off (onion, mustard, cucumber, peppers). They got most of them off but left on cucumber & a few pieces of onion which for me is super gross. My friend's sandwich didn't come out right either. Both sandwiches were average at best though I will say the croissants were pretty good. Overall, pretty disappointing. If I'm craving boba in the future I'll be driving to Turlock. read more

We're SO SICK of the food along I-5; if I have to eat another Subway sandwich I will kill someone. Thankfully we found Patterson Cafe. The woman behind the counter was a friendly and helpful delight. My husband enjoyed his pork roll Banh Mi and Thai tea boba, and my egg and cheese croissant was exemplary. There were no more chocolate croissants, so the aforementioned nice lady spread Nutella on a plain croissant. My six year old was heard to exclaim from the backseat, "Mmm, yummy!" Just wanted a small sandwich and decided to give this place a try. Michelle, the owner, waited on me. They have a nice selection so I asked her for a recommendation on their Vietnamese sandwiches. I wanted something authentic. She recommended number 47 I think Pork and Ham roll. Talk about delicious...and for less than $5? Hey Patterson Friends! Now you can get Bahn Mi ( Vietnamese Style ) Sandwiches here in town! Had the Pork and Ham and it was yummy. Plus they have Boba drinks with Tapioca pearls! If I was looking for a Donut Shop, I would not look for it to have the name "Cafe". If I was looking for a Donut Shop, this would be a good one. Their food (I always get the croissant with bacon egg and cheese) is very fresh and tasty! Skip the drive thrus and pop in here for some goodness! They also have boba tea in all kinds of flavors! I would normally have to drive to a town a bit further out to get my boba fix but now it's 2 seconds away! Although this place looks basic, it does have the ingredients you're looking for. I ordered a Vietnamese pickled ham (I think the ham was pickled) with a cream cheese croissant, both were very tasty and satisfying. Did I mention the prices are really decent. It costed me less than a classic sub at a ordinary deli market. The lady is really nice and thoughtful, who made my sandwich. I think this place is off to a great start besides the lack a restroom. If they can figure out their theme and or some design behind them, it will be a wonderful addition to Patterson. read more

Omg! The sandwiches here are sooo good. Got the pork and ham banh mi and was blown away. Everything was great, even their customer service. They're so nice and humble...a breath of fresh air.
