I went to this place the morning after i arrive to Mukilteo (live in Indonesia, used to live in Seattle, here now to visit family that live in Mukilteo) for breakfast. I always come here every time i go back to Seattle cause i love their breakfast specially their steak and eggs. This time, I tried something new, egg Benedict Florentine... Well i have to said it was just ok... the hash brown always good of course but the sauce was just overwhelming.. it was too rich... cover up all the real taste of egg Benedict... my husband ate their coned beef hash which was great... they also have great coffee that they refill often and they service also pretty good... so of course i still love this place and want to come back again but definitely will not be ordering egg Benedict again. read more

Love this place for breakfast, though it is pricey. But you get a ton of food. The food was pretty good overall, nothing too spectacular but they do have a good variety. The service was nothing special, either, but neither was it something to complain about. Parking is probably the worst part of it all; it's a very small place (and doesn't look like much when you're walking in) but it's a staple breakfast joint for our family! read more

I love this place and their menu full of good stuff is endless! You won't find the typical greasy diner breakfast foods here but the portions are huge (plenty to share and take home) and hearty! The bacon is crisp, eggs are done right, the fresh squeezed oj is heavenly, their jams aren't overly sweet, I can go on and on! I love their eggs benedict or the variety of egg scrambles! My brothers usually go for the country fried steak and eggs (it's good too)...there is so much offerings to choose from! This place is clean, and the staff/service is very pleasant. There's a homey and cozy feel to this place. Patty's can be easy to miss if you don't know your way around here but I'm thrilled it's in my neck of the woods. Patty's Eggnest has everything from traditional omellets to the North beach omellet. My personal favorite, it has marinated artichoke hearts, sundried tomatoes, mushrooms, onions, and much more! My boyfriends favorite is the deep fried peanut butter french toast. When we first started dating, we went to the Patty's Eggnest in Greenwood every sunday. He moved to Lynnwood, and I moved in with him. We were happy to find a Patty's Eggnest in our hood so that we could keep up our cutesy tradition. The food is excellent, the helpings large (I only eat half the plate, and I'm an eater...), the service is mediocre but I let it slide since they're always busy. We've never had to wait for a table. The quality of the food is great and the workers are extremely friendly and quick. I order from the breakfast menu mostly but the things I have seen pass by for lunch look great too. Their limited time pandora french toast is amazing and if they dont have it available when you go, tell em they should have that on the menu permanently. Some pro's, some cons. These guys are quick though! I was in a hurry, and I got my food in no time at all. Plus, the waiter that was heading out, right when I came in, made sure that I was ok before she left. I ordered eggs, hash browns and gyro (lamb) meat, along with a bit of fruit (and water), not too big of a brunch-esque meal. The lamb was quite good (albeit, there could have been a bit more), but the eggs were a bit bland. I'm not sure why so many places never season their eggs... At least with a bit of chives, chervil, parsley, and/or dill, something along those lines... I can tell that this is a place where you have good AND bad waiters. I think half the battle here with these folks may be improving customer service a tad, but the waiters may be a bit overworked... The other half of the battle is making the hearty "meat and potatoes/eggs" "fuel food" a bit more seasoned and less "generic" or "cheap" tasting... read more

We love going to breakfast here! The portions are HUGE and there are a ton of options to chose from. I really like the Elvis French toast, even though I can never finish it. Its deep fried French toast with peanut butter. The food is consistently good. The customer service here is always a toss up. The place is slammed on the weekends, so we always chop it up to just being busy. There have been times where we're waiting a long time to order or get our food. I read a lot of the reviews before I came in here the first time. I admit, they gave me doubts about the place, but it was very convenient to where I was staying here in Mukilteo and there weren't that many "breakfast" places around. So I went. This place totally blew me away! I have even waited till my second visit to write a review, in case visit one was a fluke! Now, on my second visit, I feel I can speak to this place. It is awesome. I'm up here visiting from Texas, on a motorcycle trip, and I tend to eat at restaurants quite a bit. This place exceeded my expectations tremendously! It was bright and clean. The food was very well prepared and very tasty, and in quantities that even made this, er, husky Texan need a to go box. There is this one server, Amber, who was totally on top of everything. I never wanted for anything and my coffee was always full and hot. I highly recommend it and I think you will as well. read more

I was shocked to hear some of these posts. I was told to try Patty's by my friends in Spokane. They said it was better than Frank's Diner which is the local Spokane breakfast spot. Franks is good, Patty's is excellent. I had that "NorthBeach Breakfast and Fresh OJ." SO AMAZING. At what restuarant do you find artichokes, fresh basil, and sundried tomatoes in your scramble? That type of food is ala San Francisco and LA. My friend had the "Special French Toast." It came out perfectly fried and warm on the inside. The wait obviously sucked, but the place is really small. Stil the food is amazing, not something I would get at Denny's or IHop or Sherrys or some random Hash House. Also that is wierd about the noise comment. I mean you are at a breakfast house. What do you expect: Michael Mina's or Fluer De Lyes. (BTW those are my favorite restuarants in SF). Perhaps Noboo in Philly or Le Cirque in NYC. Oh maybe Canlis for you Washingtonions. Aren't restaurants supposed to make you feel happy with music rolling and noise all about. Breakfast is about family and enjoying conversation with your family. Wife ordered cornbeef hash with 3 eggs over medium well. I ordered sausage patties with 3 eggs over medium well and English muffin dark and buttered. The eggs for both of us came - over easy and my english muffin barely toasted. Told the server (who was prompt and personable) about the eggs, so she said she'd get new eggs over medium well. She showed up a little later with new eggs. I asked her if the cooks pay attention to what is ordered...showing her the barely toasted muffin. She asked if I wanted that redone, I then put the fork in the egg and watched the yoke run all over....once again they were cooked over easy. I then went to the cash register and paid and told our server that it's pretty bad when the breakfast cook can't cook eggs any way other than over easy. She offered to get the cook. We just left. So the problem: Cooks don't read the order or just don't prepare the order as requested. The servers don't check when the order comes out that it's correct and the cook doesn't make sure that when they have a re-do on their mistake that "it is done correctly" (this is the part that the owner should really care about.). Too many mistakes for us to chance a re-visit. We were hoping this would become our new favorite. read more

I have been here twice now but it seems that things are getting worse not better. I do like there food. I will say that I think that if you order bacon and eggs you will not be dissapointed. For eggs to come out right, is hard for anyone and they have not come out wronge. we have a family of five with two high chairs so the cramped quarters are that much more difficult, the servers seemed over worked and under apreaciated with makes service suffer. What a treat to go out for a causal breakfast and eat such fabulous food. Our favorite food on the menu are their omelets. They are huge and fluffy, filled with real and fresh ingredients. I had a nice business lunch at this location, and the wait staff couldn't have been nicer, the food was terrific and plentiful, and my client and I sat for a looooong time without anybody giving us grief about moving along. I experimented trying their pancakes and I was delighted with them. I'm not sure who these bitter people are who are so adamantly against this restaurant, but I would suggest that to improve their time at Patty's EggNest that they remove the huge stick they have so firmly lodged... In reading the reviews that have been previously written about Patty's Eggnest I was actually shocked to see that there have not been many good reviews written about this establishment, and even more surprised that the majority of them were people stating that they had unsatisfactory food and service in their dining experience there. I am here to tell you that I would beg to differ with the reviews that I have read, and have always had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. When it comes to eating lunch at Patty's, I have to admit that I cannot speak from firsthand experience, as I have only ever had breakfast there, but my experiences have never been less than great. The wait staff there is friendly, the service is fast, and the food is wonderful. A couple of my favorite dishes are the Biscuits and Gravy and the British breakfast, which consists of bratwurst, sausage, bacon, two eggs, hash browns, and toast or an English muffin...but of course to hear my partner Jim tell it, he would say that the best breakfast at Patty's is the Joe's Special. Judging by the looks of the restaurant from the outside, it looks like a little hole in the wall...but I can assure you that on weekend mornings you will not even be able to get a parking spot if you don't go early! If you have ever thought of going to Patty's Eggnest for breakfast, but haven't yet...I would recommend that you give it a try despite what you may read in the reviews. read more

I have eaten at this particular Patty's Egg Nest about 4 times and have never been impressed. The staff is not engaging and borders from polite to indifferent. The food is served lukewarm. The hollandaise sauce looks like it came from a can and tastes like thick pasty yellow egg flavored gravy made with loads of flour, no lemon or butter. These guys went above and beyond to give me a super yummy breakfast even though I have a crazy list of allergies. The staff was super friendly and the food came out right, I did not have to send my bacon back to be crispied up like I do I most places. The restaurant has kind of an awkward layout to it, however its modest decorating and perky waitresses create a comfort level that is quite nice.
