One-of-a-kind pizza place in Dublin is located in a modern, trendy plaza that has Whole Foods, Urban Plates (very high-quality dishes served cafeteria buffet style), Whole Foods, TJ Maxx and Home Goods, and other great stores and restaurants.
I ate here with my family to eat on my sister's last days before going back to her home country. And we decided to eat some great pizza in Dublin.
Patxi's serves thin crust and Chicago deep-dish pizza. They specialize in thin crust and their buttery and flaky deep dish crust which has olive oil in between the layers. The ambiance and dining room are small, but it is highly recommended to come early. 5/5. It is a great place to hang out with friends, and family and enjoy food, wine, or drinks here. There are huge TVs to enjoy sports. 5/5!
The menu has a variety of appetizers, wine, cocktails ($15), sodas, and thin or deep-dish-crust pizza.
Bruschetta burrata - fresh mozzarella with a housemade pesto sauce served over arugula, cherry tomatoes, and grilled whole garlic cloves. It has great dutch crust bread that they made with their pizza dough that is crumbly, soft, and easy to tear apart. The taste of the bread is so easy to tear, crunchy, and goes well with the freshly made burrata. Burrata is tasted fresh, creamy, light, and soft. Eat it with fresh peppery arugula, vibrant tomatoes, garlic, and burrata on top of the bread. Great appetizer! 5/5!
Ordered the classic meat thin-crust pizza which is for starters. The charcuterie is on the savory side, with great fennel sausage with a thin layer of sweet, vibrant San Marzano tomato pizza sauce. Add a little chili flakes and parmesan cheese to eat this well-balanced taste of pizza because it is quite addicting. I love the flavors when charcuterie is on the savory side and true flavors pop up and they complement well. 4.2/5.
My brother highly recommended the deep dish pizza but he ordered something that you can definitely appreciate its simplicity. Chicago-style deep dish pizza at its finest and simplicity in taste, and authenticity and only contains 5 ingredients. Flaky pizza crust that is just right, mozzarella, fennel sausage, pepperoni, and their signature red pizza sauce with a sprinkling of dried oregano. It is sliced and easy to serve yourself. After picking up the pizza, a mozzarella string was fun to take a picture of and take to your plate. The cheese was not overflowing and messy, so they used sliced mozzarella.
I ate this and it is not too rich and complements well with everything on it. The whole thing eaten was just right, and you don't feel gluttony and grossed out compared to other pizzas are. It was a great pizza. Charcuterie tastes natural and not on the salty side. Red pizza sauce tasted like fresh tomatoes and might be San Marzano, then the mozzarella is sliced, stringy, creamy, and not too oily. The crust on the deep dish is flaky, buttery, and slightly sweet. This crust is crunchy, savory, slightly sweet, and addicting to it. You can definitely take this pizza home and enjoy it 2nd or 3rd time. The flavors will develop over time, and highly recommend putting it in an air fryer or oven to reheat it. You will definitely have a great experience with this pizza. 6/5!
Paxti's serves great food, and a casual and average ambiance for big groups like family and friends. You feel at ease and enjoy your company while eating great pizza. I highly recommend eating their deep-dish pizza made with fresh cheese, and high-quality ingredients. The deep dish takes about 25- 30 minutes on average to bake, but it is worth the wait and time. I will come back for more. read more
