So within the last three months, I went to see non other than my favorite dermatologist, Dr. Paul Frank, who is also my main-stay as far as dermatologist go.Of course it doesn't hurt, that as far as eye candy goes, he's not too shabby! Lol!
As in my previous, and current review I want you readers to know, that i am a legitimate client of his that doesn't receive any special privileges, or financial restitution, reimbursement, or gifts for my review(s). I want you to know that my post, which sometimes are laced with comedic flair, are genuine in every aspect, in relation to hi lighting Dr. Frank as a doctor who possesses the intrinsic talent, and capabilities to improve the overall esthetics of a individuals appearance! I would also like to acknowledge his gorgeous sister, who as office manager helps facilitate his practice, and his humble, and down-to-earth, beautiful, and amiable office-staff, that are also part of the backbone that keep his office efficiently, up, and running!
Well, I have a brief confession to make: Sometime in the beginning of 2014, I decided, after religiously seeing Dr. Frank for my yearly Liquid Facelift, ( basically it's a procedure that consist of injecting a plethora of fillers, combined with botox to create a youthful visage, that French for face ) accompanying my girlfriend who utilizes another dermatologist, in the same area, after much coaxing on her part I relented, and for a few hundred less decided to get my Liquid Facelift done by this world renowned doctor.
She went first, and as I sat in the waiting room grappling over whether, or not I was making the right decision, a nurse came out, and escorted me to one of the back offices. " But...wait," I exclaimed," I haven't even seen the outcome of my girlfriends work, yet!?" "Oh, no need to worry dear, she looks fabulous!" She replied what sounded like a rehearsed line; a response I would've gotten even if she came out with jowls resembling shopping bags," She's just in bathroom touching herself up. She'll be waiting for you, when you're done in the waiting room.
So after meeting the doctor, who was extremely nice he filled me to the brim! Unlike Dr. Frank who seems to be more mindful of where to inject what, where to elevate this, or that muscle, or accentuate certain features of ones face that are attractive, while deemphasizing features you want to down play, this new doctor's philosophy, from my perspective was fill, fill, fill, till you couldn't see a wrinkle in site, but you could also be mistaken for a volley ball, or Charlie brown, you take your pick! Let's just say it was an expensive mistake i don't intend to repeat!
"Instead of the complements I would regularly receive, after a session with Dr. Paul Frank
( without telling anyone, of course that i had something done), like " Did you go on vacation?" "You must be seeing someone, you look too good....Well are you seeing someone?" " I don't know what's up with you but you've never looked better!" " Boy, you look fresh, and young?" I was getting: " Are you allergic to something....your face looks swollen; perhaps you should have that checked out!" " Did you gain weight?" My mother, who I revealed the truth to, wasn't as kind: " I can't decide if you look like an alien from outer space, or a StayPuff Marshmallow!"
Now I understand the concept of overfilling, the concept being that hopefully the product will slowly dissipate therefore you'll remain looking more youthful for an extended period of time. Unfortunately this wasn't the case! Now I can't speak for anyone else, but after looking like a mutant for approximately a year, it was as if my balloon face popped, and in a matter of a few short weeks, my face reverted back to it's former self. Laugh lines, and all I was never so happy in my life!
Of course, Dr. Franks going to see this now, but ultimately I learned a valuable lesson, once you found the Holy Grail of Dermatologist, there's no need to settle, or experiment. No matter who you go to the doctors are comparable in price, but I also have to say that although it cost more than throwing down $120 for a good pair of jeans, Dr. Frank, who in my opinion is the best in the field of dermatology is more reasonable, price wise than a slew of doctors who perform the same procedures, and not only are you getting the product injected by a renowned doctor ( there are a lot of renowned doctors out there who've created a reputation for themselves by garnering a lot of patients who aren't necessarily good at what they do), but someone who comprehends how the muscles of the face operate, to enhance your' beauty, so that you can put your' best face forward!
So, you know of course, like I said in the beginning, approximately 3 months ago I went back to my one, and only Dr. Frank, and needless to say the complements keep rolling in!!!!! read more
