For my first time experience...these guys were great. Last minute they were able to fit me in for an appointment, and from the start they were friendly and professional. They did an awesome job on shampooing my dog and even gave her a cute halloween bandana when I picked her up. She was happy and relaxed which is always a great sign. My dog needed his nails cut badly and I called early on a Saturday morning and the guys at Paw Lounge were able to take my dog last minute. I'm assuming the main guy I spoke to is Troy, who seems like a real chill guy. He was really great with my dog who I had never taken to a groomers before. I just needed a basic bath and nails trim. It took about 2 hours to get my dog back, which is standard. When I picked up my dog he smelled soooo good. Seriously he's never smelled that good when we've given him his bathes. The outside of the place doesn't looks inviting, that's the only reason why I gave it 4 stars. But otherwise would definitely bring my dog back there again. read more

We took in our little dog, Zoey, to have her first hair cut here after adopting her a few months ago. She is so skittish around people, I didn't think anyone could get her calm enough for a haircut. We brought our two mini Schnauzers with us for a visit with my mom. These girls were well over-due for grooming. We'd gone camping just prior to our trip and we all know how messed up dogs get when camping. Paw Lounge is conveniently close to where we're staying and we decided to make a call to see if they could squeeze us in on such short notice. Not only are they pleasant and accommodating, but they did an amazing job! Our girls were happy and Paw Lounge groomed them exactly like we asked. They came home with a couple flees, but maybe that's to be expected. They even gave us a healthy sample of a product they use for matting; no charge. Last week I took my Pomsky in to be groomed here. I was met by two lovely young ladies who took my information and let me know our puppy would be ready in about two hours. I showed them a picture of his last grooming so there would be no doubt of the type/style of haircut we expected. When we returned 2 hours later we were greeted by a "naked" puppy. They had shaved all of my 5 pound dog, except for the face/head and tail!!!! I was heartbroken. He looked soooo sad! The young lady (Bree) assured me this was "necessary" because he was so badly matted. She had even saved a piece of hair to show me. Phooey!!!!! His tail was left as a giant fluff ball about 4 inches long and it didn't appear to be so matted they couldn't cut it! If they felt he was matted why didn't they call me and ask what I would want done. They had no problem calling me to say that he was ready to be picked up. Plus, I had informed them that I lived only a couple of blocks away, I could easily have come back to retrieve my so called "matted" puppy and either brushed him out better to appease them, or told them to go ahead with the shaving or even gone somewhere else!!! The tops of his little paws are shaved sooo close you can see his skin! The back of his head, right above his collar, is also shaved sooo close that his skin is exposed! My puppy was NOT matted. He's so tiny that brushing him only takes a few moments. He is a Pomsky which means he is part Husky and part Pomeranian, and as such the breed "blows" their coat twice a year so it does take a few extra minutes to brush out....but they didn't do this. They took steps to make their job easier with no concern for the dog or the owner! If you love your puppy DO NOT go here! So disappointed with this groomer. My dog was still stinky when I picked him up. The groomer was very rude and seemed very angry when I mentioned this to him. He also doesn't seem like he has been grooming long as he is very confused and defensive when I asked basic questions. Back to Petco for my dog at least they don't seem angry. read more

Do not take your dog to this place. I brought my dog in yesterday to get a bath and brushed out, when I picked him up he was full of knots, they said it would cost $20 an hour to brush her out. She has more knots today then she ever had, this place is a rip off. They get you and raise the price on you, but it's too late to pick him up because they started When they called to tell you it was going to be more. What do they expect a dog to be perfect when you bring them in? Why do you take your dog to the groomer, they need to learn this or they're gonna lose all kinds of business. I don't usually review businesses but I don't want no one else to get ripped off. There's plenty of Dog groomers out there that take care of you and your pets. I'll be taking my dog back to A different groomer to get her fixed, so she looks good for the holidays. read more

This place started out great. Now I think since the business is going so well it can be hit and miss. My furry pal is really a easy girl to cut. Nothing fancy just wash and buz. I can tell when she has had a bad time because she morphs into a anixous puddle. When I got her home and looked at the hair cut there were places that were cut on her skin. I will not be coming back. The picture is in a space of about 4' x 6' (she is a big girl) and is one of three areas. The others were smaller around the arm pit. The actual hair cut was subpar. It looked like a student did it. I don't think Troy did this. The buck stops with him however because he was the one that I make the agreement with to take care of my girl. He told me he was cutting her. When I place my loved companion in the care of someone else I not only expect excellent care I demand it. Because I trusted Troy I didn't check my dog to make sure she had not been injured before I left. The person who injured her knew full well and did not say one word to me. Troy takes awesome care of my minature goldendoodle. Prior to coming to Paw Lounge, I used a mobile grooming service mainly because of the quick turn-around time. I don't like leaving my dog at the groomers for long periods. My dog is always ready as promised (2 hours max). She is ultra-soft and fluffy and smells fresh and clean. Troy ALWAYS takes time to talk and LISTENS to me. (I know he is listening since my dog is always cut the way I requested.) Troy is always pleasant and patient. Another plus is Troy's prices are very reasonable! He is honest and does not over-charge.
