Woops, I forgot to take photos of the drinks. I did buy 7 of them though. I got each of the slushes, a peach tea, and a thai tea. I felt a little bad for making the single employee there make all these drinks for me, but she made them all beautifully. The recipients of the drinks all said their drinks tasted good. My thai tea was pretty good as well. I personally prefer stronger teas, so it was falling a little flat for me. The boba was okay. It had a good chew to it but wasn't as soft as i would have liked. Their tea is pretty good with a nice smooth flavor. I ordered a regular boba milk tea. I noticed they charge $0.49 for less ice, in my opinion I hate places that charge for less ice. In addition, they put so much ice in the cup you're paying for 1/4 milk tea, a scoop of boba, and rest ice. They should not put so much ice and expect people to pay $5+ for mainly ice. If they would not charge for ice and put at least 50% less ice I would probably come back. Besides that, it did not catch my attention to come back again. read more

Was looking for a boba place that was still open past 9pm on a Saturday in the area. From the pictures on Yelp, the drinks looked good, so I decided to come here. Walking in, there are chairs every where to sit and chill, but since it's Covid, this place was dead silent. It actually looked kind of sad. Normally, this would be a nice place to just hang with friends. I also feel that the location is not ideal as there are no restaurants or eateries close by. We decided to order the Mango with lychee jelly and the #10 Mango Slush with chamoy and boba. Since there was only 1 person working at the time, I think we stood by for about 10 minutes before she took out order. The #10 was actually very tasty. I like the chamoy flavor with the mango slush. The boba, however, was not fresh or sweet. I can tell because when biting into the boba, it tasted like it was just soaking in water and wasn't warm or chewy like fresh boba would taste like. I can understand being that it was slow and the boba was probably made a few hours ago. So I would caution getting the boba and maybe the jellies instead. The Sensual Mango drink was pretty much tasteless. I did not taste any mango flavors in there, just the fibers. Because we decided to go with the lychee jelly, that pretty much was the only thing I can taste. Maybe go with the peach next time as mango is a pretty light flavor anyways. read more

I ordered my drinks off Postmates to see what the deal is with CBD infused drinks. The drink I got for myself was make you thinner. It came with jychee jelly but got boba with it too. The drink itself was refreshing and had the perfect amount of sweetness. -1 because idk if it's my fault I have a low tolerance for cbd but I ordered an extra inclusion of cbd but wasnt sure if it came with it already. Additionally, you, as the owner/manager, have every right to say "No" if I could not combine the offers. But I simply asked and you asked "You want more?" and I said "Ok." Your comment about 3 drinks being offered at $10.18 was irrelevant. Even if it was considerably cheaper than average in the area, that is an unprofessional response to mock a paying customer. I'll give everyone the benefit of doubt that you're working on your English, but I can read everything you wrote in Chinese for this comment and others. At first, I saw the menu and saw that it was ~640mL and what came out was something completely different at $6/drink. Yelp sent me an email about happy hour on Sunday between 6:00pm-8:30pm. The Brown Sugar Lava Milk with boba was BOGO for those hours. Occasionally, I'd see these notifications since I've been there before, but nowhere on the post did it say they would reduce the drink size for BOGO. They still charged $6 for a ~500mL (originally 640mL) drink for BOGO (if that makes sense). ALSO, their Strawberry Slush with Coconut Milk is ~$5 for a full order. I asked if I could purchase that also since they made me do a Yelp check-in and follow them on instagram to get the previous deal. The Yelp check-in they posted gave a 50% off the drink but it also became a ~500mL size as well. At first, I thought it was okay and then I smacked myself....it's the principle! You can't just give me a smaller size because I'm here to try the BOGO deal and the other Yelp check-in item! If you're going to serve something different from the expected, do so in fine print. That would be more fair rather than serving something out of expectations. Whatever they did was really wrong and there won't be any deal that can bring me back here again. **Edit: I knew about the size difference since I tried this place before and didn't think much of it. The colorful slushie drinks were a few months ago when they barely opened. This time, I got slightly ticked and measured the volume because I hate to be tricked by another place again. I wish every cafe/tea shop was as laid back as this one is! It's the perfect place to study or relax either alone or with a friend. There's so much room, and the overall atmosphere and seating are comfy and super inviting. There's also plenty of street parking and a lot out back! We tried the Pink Dream dragonfruit drink, as well as one of the milk teas - both were delicious, and perfectly sweetened as well. The air-fried dumplings made a perfect snack on the side, too. Our server was super sweet, and the best surprise was when she got up to sing karaoke for us! She had the most beautiful voice - it was a pleasure listening to her while we worked. All I can say is weird. But what else do you expect from the only boba place open at 1am? It's really the only reason we came, they were the only ones open. For 3 drinks and a snack it was over $30...pretty pricey to me. I want to say each drink was about $7 then? The drinks themselves weren't impressive considering that price point. My lemon jasmine tea tasted like lemonade (no tea essence at all). They also leave the tea bag in their drinks. Why? The food that we did get, chicken nuggets & fries (on the menu it says they're air fried chicken bites and fries) but let's be honest these tasted like they were straight out of the microwave. Don't pay $8 for this! It was 4 dried up nuggets and stale fries. We all said we would have been better off getting McDonald's chicken nuggets & fries (at least you more for what you paid). Incidentally there is a 24 hour McD's nearby. Pretty sure the owner jacked up prices because I have no idea how 3 drinks at their listed prices ($5.49-$6) plus the chicken snack at $8 came out to be over $30. Funny story first time trying this place out during the pandemic which is not a very great idea to run around. Ok that's not the point. I order two milk tea on an app and one with less ice. When I got to the store the guy there was not even prepared my order, he stared at me and realized something then start making my drinks. I was like ok...but seconds later I noticed he was not even have a mask on. Interestingly, i got a free mask with my two milk teas, (but the guy who was making these don't have one on). This was my first time coming here to Ci-tea, I've seen cute photos of drinks on instagram and thought to check this place out. Now...let me tell you, Ci-Tea is a cute study-worth boba tea shop! Their drinks come in a cute bottle shown in the pictures. The place is quite spacious, lots of chairs and tables to seat yourselves (comfy i must say). Music choice is amazing ;). I don't know if one of the people who work there is the owner or the manager, but there is a keyboard near the front of the door and he will 'sometimes' go to the keyboard and play live music and will sing to yall (mostly in Chinese though). Also the shop's bass is 'WOW OKAY'!! Another plus about this place is that the shop closes at 2AM so if y'all ever need to study, this is the place for you! Now..the downgrade of this place is that all drinks & food is not worth whatever price is given to you. The drink my friend got was not worth $6 unless they personally bought and handmade their cups. I'm thinking maybe that's why it costs a little bit more. So my friend got the mango slush w/ coconut milk w/ popping boba cuz they ran out of boba at 11PM..(FYI they close at 2AM). Drink container is surprisingly really cute and there's a small hole at the top of the lid for the straw. Drink is okay but pretty sweet. Menu doesn't seem entirely up to date, they had seasonal items on it that they don't carry anymore. Also ordered chicken with French fries.
