She took him to the hospital, and stayed with him the whole time. Now she is taking care of our horse too. Every time Kathlyn came, she sends a journal of what your pet was doing/what she did along with multiple photos. She also noticed I didn't have enough food to refill after the 5th day. They refresh water, check robot feeders, feed a can of wet food each visit and it doesn't stop there. They also pet and check on the welfare of the cats plus pick up mail or packages for us.. We get texted a picture of each cat or several and a written update on how the visit went. We have never had 1 issue with anything missing or even a picture frame moved out of place. My husband is a worrier about our lovely cat family and it puts his mind at ease using this service and how well cared for our cats are. We have a shy kitty that will hide from time to time, but YHPC sitters eventually will win her over and coax her out to feed and get petted. I still don't know what he said. Yet, I assume since he considers himself an existentialist, and the way he looked lovingly at his leash, he was telling me one thing. He is in love with his dog walkers. And so am I. I miss my dog everyday. For the last two years he has joined me at work, everyday. This new move has him sitting alone at home. Though, he makes himself busy painting watercolors of his old home in Beaumont-Sur-Mer, or compiling a literary critique of the known works of Franz Kafka. I know he misses me as well. They help incredibly with this. I get daily pictures of their walks, and a log of the route they take. It makes me feel as if I'm right there with them. Without hearing Jeff recite made up Haikus of the various foliage changes during the season. So, I highly recommend Go Go. And in Jeff's words: "Je vis avec une Amérique illettrée qui ne peut pas arrêter de fréquenter la mauvaise femme." I don't even know what that means.

The owner, RoNae, seems to be very pleasant and honest in the initial meeting. My dog likes everyone, so I could not rely on his opinion of the walker's character. After a few visits I noticed my dog seemed antsy, so I started to check my alarm verifications for arrival and departure times. I was paying for a 30 minute walk, but noticed two times it was closer to 9 minutes. My dog and I gave them the benefit of the doubt until it happened again at 11 minutes. RoNae was unable to refund me and just apologized. My worry was for the people that do not have anyway of timing them. My main reason for sharing this is for the animals. I always want the best care for mine and I believe this company is NOT the best option.

We ADORE Wendy and the Good Day team! After years of failed pet sitting check ins for our cats…read more(both in and outside of Texas) we finally found a company we can trust. In fact, we hired another local company for a few check ins prior to Good Day and we spent our week contacting that company to get an update on our cats! I was so frustrated and booked Good Day last minute to finish the visits while we were out of town and they were empathetic to our situation and squeezed us in to their schedule. So grateful! The team provides the best updates! They always send photos and very cute and detailed messages with every visit - we actually look forward to their updates because they make us laugh and feel comforted our cats are in good care. They are never generic updates, it's always very unique to our cats' personalities and that specific visit. We have also used Good Day for dog walking and even took advantage of their afternoon hike - Wendy came by to pick up our dog Manny and sent us an entire album of photos from their hike together! It's a really special way to get some one on one time instead of sending your pup to daycare for the day! Scheduling is SO easy and they are affordable/on par with other pet sitting companies.
