He is so patient and kind in his explanation (not all of us are tech savvy) he also went 100% above and beyond for us in helping to ensure our event had the connectivity we needed to be successful. I will recommend this company to all of our contacts! Chris, you are an awesome human being, and btw it was a pleasure meeting your son today as well. Thank you kind sir, for all of your hard work. May your business flourish!

I reached out to Empire Satellites Inc after looking online for someone to install my new Starlink dish. Chris responded promptly via text from a different number (red flag number one). Quoted a price for the install - $349, which I thought was reasonable. Set up an appointment for the same day at 2:30pm. At 3:00 get a text that he we will be "couple of hours late" (red flag number two). OK, no problem. Finally shows up at 6:10pm. Started to look around the house to find a good location to mount the dish. Settle on a tall side gable (single story house), but his ladder is only 18', so he says that that's as high as he can mount it, not at the gable apex. Not ideal, but OK. Casually mentions that he charges an extra $100 for the "attic work" (major red flag number three). As if most people expect to have wires hanging on their exterior walls? I don't argue, but at this point I am really expecting to see stellar work quality, above and beyond attention to detail. This is where things really go to shit. Chris gets up to the facia and starts mounting the dish in a mount that I provided. I am looking from below and clearly can see that the mount is not plumb and is wobbling, as he puts three lugnut screws through the facia. He assures me that it is plenty stable. Red flag number four. Drills a hole through the wall for the cable and goes inside the house to fish for it in the attic. In the meantime, I get up the ladder and take a picture of the mount. It is clearly not fully bolted to the facia, with one of the bolts screwed at a 45 degree angle. The thing wobbles like crazy. Thirty minutes later, and two more holes in the ceiling plate from the attic, the cable is still not down to the final location, despite the fact that 5 extra ethernet cables were routed through the same wall from the attic by my electrician a few weeks before. Chris offers to surface mount the wire to the wall in the finished pantry room - ugliest, laziest install ever. Red flag number five. This is when I say "that's enough" and kick him out of my house. He is genuinely surprised when I offer to pay him only $250 for the horrendous job he did, and not the full $450 he was expecting. Before he leaves, he blames me for providing a bad mount for the dish, and tries to upsell his own mount for $100. Unbelievable. I have worked with dozens of subs int he last two years while building my house, and know my way around tools and trades. This was one of the worst experiences. The guy has the worst work ethic and zero integrity.

Got a new phone (Vanessa had sold me my old phone 6 years earlier), and a new tablet for my wife. Couldn't be happier. Even though I live in Hemet I went to the Moreno Valley store because Vanessa had moved there, and I had several great experiences with her previously. When my wife starts nagging me for a new phone, I'll be back. Thanks again!

I waited about 10 minutes, not too bad. A young lady greeted me who was going to assist me in my upgrade. As I was explaining what I had for a trade in, she cut me off and interrupted me as I was telling her what I had, then she asked me a question about what my cell phone was doing, I started to explain and she cut me off again, got past that question and she asked me another question and again as I was explaining again she cut me off one more time, I was fuming at this point, but I stayed in control, she did it one more time as I spoke and I told her she needs to quit talking over me as it was rude, she just looked at me like I did something wrong. I was so mad at this point, I told her she was being very rude talking over me and she began to talk her salesmen nonsense. I told her I had enough because of her rudeness and I got up to leave the store. The rep who helped me looked at me like I did something wrong and told him she needs to quit drinking so much coffee. I don't know anyone who likes to be talked over like it's normal, I was so pissed as I left the store. If you need to buy or upgrade your Verizon cell phone from this store beware you will be dealing with rude sales staff. Best Buy was right across the street so I went there and the Verizon young lady there was so helpful and went over my options. I hope Verizon or the store manager or store owner calls me so I can file a complaint. 23 June 2026 UPDATE from Business Owner (see their response) It's a disappointment seeing that the business owner classifies being treated badly by rude company employees as a "bad experience". If the store had an HR department I would visit them, my question to the business owner is: how are you correcting bad behavior by your employees? I will NEVER go back to this store again, sort of questioning my long term partnership with Verizon.
