I got salmonella poisoning from this restaurant. I really don't know what else to say, I missed over a week of work. I spent 2 days fully admitted to the hospital. I lost 15 pounds. I was so dehydrated because I couldn't keep liquids down that I was put on intravenous liquids. I was on medication for the painful stomach cramps, antibiotics for the infection and nausea medicine. I still have nausea symptoms 3 weeks later. It was the sickest I've ever been in my entire life. So yeah, I wouldn't recommend this. read more

My husband and I come to this PDQ at least twice a week for lunch!! We love it. It has become our little tradition. We have tried the fries, tater tots, bowls, sandwiches, tenders and they never disappoint. The staff there is amazing. Especially our wonderful Ms. Patty!! She always greets us with a smile and hello. Abigail is great too! We go for dinner sometimes too and we love our girl Suzi!!! The food is always fresh, always hot, always great! I had heard about PDQ through a friend and decided to check it out. I am not one to consume fast food, but this is not what I would consider fast food quality. When I first walked into PDQ I thought I to myself this cant be a fast food restaurant, then I was greeted by a staff member and I felt so welcomed. I got chicken fingers for my daughter and a pecan salad for myself and I was so surprised when I got the food that it was real chicken- not the processed stuff I'm used to receiving at many fast food restaurants. We ate everything, it was delicious and I didn't even feel guilty for eating it. The staff waited on us like we were at a full service restaurant, got us sauce, utensils, refills, etc.... We have gone back several times and each time we have a wonderful experience. The food is great, the staff makes it even better. read more

When this place initially opened up I was by far excited! I used to travel to the Fort Lauderdale location before the pompano site opened up! I have their crispy turkey sandwich with fries a hi c orange and toffee apples every time! Fresh and fast all the time! With that amount I always have left overs for a second go! This is a place were I can say they serve quality food and for a reasonable buck! The service is friendly! They are enthused and high entertain people. Looks like a great place to work when you love what you do! They have seasonal shakes and my favorite is the apple pie! Creamy goodness with chunks of Apples and pie crust to soothe your soul when you want a devious treat! So yummy! Used to be a constant menu item but they transitioned to seasonal so I'm waiting my turn to indulge again! Ha ha ! I love the decor and ambiance! I find it a great spoke for me to study! As good as you can imagine for the type of food. The place is immaculate clean and the staff is super friendly. The chicken tenders were incredibly good, the perfect combination of fresh, tasty and crispy. The sauces is the key (Sweet Sriracha was the best). This is my third time coming here and each time I do I am more and more impressed! The food is amazing!! The staff is incredibly personable and friendly and the operating manager Justin is phenomenal! The computer crashed while I was ordering and instead of closing their doors or saying cash only they insisted on giving hungry patrons their food for free. They only asked that we come back. Not only will I be returning for more amazing food, but I am telling everyone I know that they need to come here. My family and I have been dealing with a tragedy at a hospital nearby and I nearly broke down crying when he said please take the food and don't worry about paying. It's because of wonderful people and places like this that make life seem a little brighter when going through dark times. read more

Before i begin, i usually love this PDQ. I go here for lunch often and I've never had any issues with this establishment. I took my boyfriend here for his first time because i kept raving about it and we were in the area. I ordered my regular chicken tenders with the zucchini fries and he decided to try the Hawaiian chicken sandwich and a regular chicken sandwich and a side of fries with cheese. He actually wanted the tater tot nachos but they were out of tater tots. It's a new menu item that they have posted everywhere around the inside of the restaurant but they didn't bother to keep enough stock of it? Anyway, the food comes out and it's just his two sandwiches and our fries. The fries were cold with cold, already hardened cheese atop of them. His Hawaiian sandwich was just a piece of grilled chicken, bacon, and cheese between two buns. It was supposed to come with pineapple and slaw on it.... he takes it back and says it was missing those two things and the manager takes it and asks the line cook why there wasn't the slaw or pineapple on the sandwich, the line cook says "There wasn't any on the line." 10 minutes later my food arrives and another 5 minutes pass after that and someone brings out his sandwich. Still the same sandwich they first gave him, cold, just a very unhappy thick slice of pineapple added between the two buns and no slaw still. Pathetic. read more

First let me start by saying if I could give them zero stars I would give them zero stars so we went in there ordered our food it took them about 15 to 20 minutes for us to even get our food and while we were waiting for our food we went to go sit down at a table and the table was so dirty and especially with everything going on with corona right now restaurants are supposed to be being extra clean by wiping down the tables after each use which is also just a regular thing for restaurants and it definitely hadn't been wiped down, there were crumbs all over the table and seat, there were crewmembers in the kitchen who were not wearing gloves which even if corona wasn't going on when you're working in the kitchen you should be wearing gloves, the food was terrible we ordered wings and they didn't even come pre-sauce because we got the tangy honey barbecue wings and when she brought it to the table and I was like there's no sauce on it ? and she's like no you have to toss it yourself...(because it comes in some little container which I guess they thought I was gonna do that by myself) the wings are literally so nasty I barely could even eat them, and I got a bowl, a Cali bowl which has rice and beans in it the rice and beans tasted so terrible like they had been sitting in a metal pan probably all day and not changed out or maybe they were there from yesterday in my rice was crunchy and literally the beans tasted like a metal can it was terrible. Also they have horrible customer service the girl who brought the food to our table had such a terrible attitude the whole time read more

The chicken is ok nothing to write home about. You have to try the milkshakes, they are the best I have ever had. If you want to be a little more healthy try the Apple slices with the toffee. So good! I wish the fries were a little larger as they are over fried. And they end up very hard.Chicken needs to be doctor up with more favor. I am from Connecticut and had never been to a PDQ before but after driving by one I was curious about what it was. I went on yelp and read the reviews for this location. Most of them are pretty good so I decided to try it out. I got the three chicken strips with Fries and honey barbecue sauce and honey mustard . It was pretty good. Some of the reviews previously said they like this better than Chick-fil-A. I'm pretty sure I cannot say the same thing. Although it was pretty good it was not as good as Chick fill A. My wife had a Caesar salad with the crispy chicken. That was pretty good. The place was very clean and the people that work there were very nice. They greeted us we walked in and the server even brought our food over to our table. I'm not a big fast food person. I would come here again though if it weren't for the fact Chick Fil A is right down the street. I thought the hand washing station was a good idea and nice but it's just something I haven't seen before in the middle of the restaurant and reminded me of some urinals I've seen in my day. read more

The chicken tenders are tasty and average size but it doesn't have that wow factor to the batter or seasoning . However the prices are pretty hefty, I paid close to $10 for a 4 piece tender meal with fries and a lemonade. I then added an additional 3 tenders to my order that brought it up to $14. If you have kids or a family it could be quite an expenditure. Customer service is really good though, they take your name and thank to by name when you pick up your food. I was excited to finally get a chicken fixture in the area but unfortunately it's not a Zaxbys or even a Chikfila. Concept is nice but limited menu and steep prices will be their Achilles. read more

I went to pdq for my first time today. I ordered the buffalo tender sandwich through drive thru. The sandwich came with lettuce and blue cheese. I asked to substitute ranch for blue cheese since I don't like blue cheese. The employee working the drive through (Marley) was very very rude to me because of the fact it seemed difficult for her to input into the computer. She then proceeded to talk about me with another employee in front of my face. I ignored it pulled forward and got my sandwich which there was no ranch or side of ranch. The sandwich was hot and tasty. Chicken had some chewy parts. Fries were delicious. Overall I will go back but I hope she's not working as I don't think she understands hospitality at all. read more
