I went to lunch with my co-worker at PDX Thai Dining because it's within walking distance of work. The past few times I was disappointed because the "sauces" seemed off. I agreed to go again because I used to really like it. We walked in and were told that they were only serving dinner size portions today and we agreed to split, "P2". that's Kra-Prao with chicken. It was delicious! We had ordered the shrimp salad rolls as an app, just in case the dinner size wasn't enough. Those were tasty as well. It was plenty of food and we realized that in the future, it was a better deal to split rather than ordering our own lunch size dishes. The service is friendly and quick, small parking lot but never seem to have a problem finding a spot.

First time here after driving by many times. I placed my order for pickup which was ready when I arrived. The outside is nothing special but the inside is inviting and well decorated. I got the food home and started plating. The fried shrimp was done great - lots of crisp and flavor. The potstickers were good, pretty standard. The Kra-Prao with chicken was really good. The veggies, chicken and sauce were a great combo. The Pad Se-Ew with beef was just what I hoped for. Tender beef with great noodles and veggies were just right. Crab Fried Rice had ample crab and pretty big. This was a great food takeout experience and I'll be back

If you want authentic Thai food, look no further! We got the Chicken Satay to start. Great flavor, juicy chicken, and I loved the pickled veggies on the side as a topping. Pad See Ew had so much flavor with generous portion as well. Perfect balance of sweet and savory. Great service, the staff were on top of it the whole time. I plan on coming back to try more things.

This Thai spot has a few parking spots out front. It's nothing fancy and has a pretty basic interior. The menu is pretty traditional and offers a wide range of dishes. The prices are moderate. I sat down for lunch. The staff were friendly and quick with service. I ordered the Kra-Prao with tofu and some crispy rolls. The crispy rolls were small and I was hoping for more for the price. The Kra-Prow was a good amount of food. It was decent, but not something I would get again at this spot. This place is okay, but not somewhere I would go out of my way to eat.

I came here for a post-gym dinner and it was fantastic. As I came on the earlier side of dinner, the place was fairly empty. My boyfriend and I were the only ones there, but we did notice that they were doing A LOT of to-go/delivery orders (so I might check it out again over delivery!). Their menu is pretty big; they have the traditional things you typically see in Thai restaurants but also some unique dishes, such as the Panang Salmon and Duck Curry! Their kitchen seemed pretty small, but the order didn't take very long. Service was very nice and quick. Everything tasted so so amazing. Definitely the kind of food you want on a cold day to warm yourself up. So much flavor and the portions were generous too!

The food here is authentic, great service. Ambiance not so much, but the flavor balance they achieve in the kitchen makes up for it.

I've had Xin Ding Dumpling House bookmarked for over a year, so I was excited to finally cross it…read moreoff my list while visiting family. Since we had our dog with us, we ordered everything to go and enjoyed it back at our hotel just down the street. Just a heads up if you're planning the same, there wasn't any outdoor dining available. Being from the SF Bay Area, one of the first things we looked for was Har Gow and Siu Mai, but they weren't labeled the way we're used to. After asking, we found out the Crystal Shrimp Dumplings are their Har Gow, and the Shrimp Siu Mai contains pork, which was exactly what we were looking for. We ordered two of each. We also ordered two Beef Chow Fun, Combination Fried Rice, Eggplant with Minced Pork, Sweet & Sour Spare Ribs, and three pear sodas. The dim sum absolutely hit the spot. The Har Gow and Siu Mai were well seasoned, nicely prepared, and exactly what we had been craving. The Beef Chow Fun was another winner. We were glad we ordered two because we found ourselves reaching for it more than the fried rice. The Eggplant with Minced Pork was also delicious. The eggplant was cooked perfectly -- tender without becoming mushy -- and the seasoning was right on point. I'm also glad we changed our order from the House Special Spare Ribs to the Sweet & Sour Spare Ribs. Unlike many versions, these weren't battered and fried, so the pork maintained a great texture while still being coated in a flavorful sweet and sour sauce. One unexpected favorite was the pear soda. It's made with Asian pear, so the flavor is much lighter and more refreshing than the sweeter pear sodas we're used to. The only hiccup? They're bottled with a traditional cap, and since we were staying in a hotel, we quickly realized we didn't have a bottle opener. Let's just say we got a little creative. One thing I really appreciated was that the staff noticed our large takeout order and packed it thoughtfully. They included six extra takeout containers, plenty of forks, chopsticks, and napkins, which ended up being incredibly helpful since we were eating in a hotel room with no paper plates or utensils. It's a small gesture, but one that definitely didn't go unnoticed. Overall, we were really happy with our meal. This place lived up to being on my bookmark list for over a year, and I'd happily come back the next time we're staying in downtown Portland.

The portions were beyond generous, and each meal had nothing lacking. The meat in both dishes was tender and juicy, the noodles were cooked perfectly, soft but with a chew, and everything came out fast! The chicken noodle was more savory, and the japchae was a bit sweeter, but still standing with a savory component. We also ordered chicken dumplings and they were perfect. Crispy but nice on the inside, and whatever the sauce was that came with it is something I will continue to think about weekly. We were on vacation from the east coast and wish we found this place sooner in the trip. The restaurant is tiny and is all self serve, but the gentleman who brought out our dishes was very kind. I will say I don't know the area well, but there were pockets of the neighborhood that didn't feel the safest.

The noodle dish was equally disappointing, with almost no flavor at all. The only thing this restaurant had going for it was that the food came out quickly.
