Matt is fantastic! i would definitely use him again and unfortunately think i probably will b/c of my dog! He is honest, hardworking, nice and does a thorough job. after his team cleaned my carpets, he noticed some remaining dirt (due to sun making it really hard to see) and had it cleaned again. he is detail oriented. my carpets looked brand new after he came in. he is also very fair priced. i would definitely recommend Peace Frog. i had some nasty stains and everything was removed. he also has a sophisticated ipad/iphone charging thing going on so it's really easy to pay him right there and then. thanks! read more

Amazing integrity. These folks came out to help by cleaning our clothes dryer and vent. After cleaning the dryer, they discovered the vent was installed incorrectly. That meant they couldn't clean it fully. They showed me a picture of the issue and said they were sorry but it's not something that would allow them to do a full cleaning. They didn't charge us anything! Even when I insisted - they declined payment. That is living your commitment to great service and work done fully. Questions answered, everything explained in full detail - nothing hidden, no surprises (except how low the price was), appointment quickly scheduled, follow-up and confirmation calls. Perfect. UPDATE: the response below doesn't address my point. It's not that they couldn't get out pre-existing discolorations. It's that they CREATED a new one. Maybe they are better carpet cleaners than sofa cleaners. I hired Peace Frog to clean my sofa. It's one thing if they could not get stains removed (they did not). After all, stains/discolorations are very difficult to get out. But Peace Frog CREATED a very big new discoloration mark on my sofa, and then refused to leave without payment. I was promised by the manager (owner?) that he'd come out and make things right, but he came over and said he couldn't do anything. They made my sofa WORSE but refused to refund me. I know the reviews look great, but my experience was anything but. read more

Peace Frog Carpet and Tile Cleaning just completed second carpet cleaning. It's been about six months since the first. I have white berber carpet and it's a dirt magnet...or so it seems. Once again Peace Frog Carpet and Tile Cleaning did a five star job. Gene was our tech and my wife and I were very happy with his work. He arrived right on time. His appearance was professional with a nice clean Peace Frog uniform. He was friendly and courteous. He did an outstanding job getting our carpet traffic pattern removed from our carpet. Peace Frog Services is an amazing company from scheduling to completion. They always have their act together. Review is based on my experience with the manager, Matt. The technician Patrick was very courteous, patient and performed his job exceptionally well. Very disappointed with the management of this company. I had a carpet cleaning for 2 rooms and pet odor removal scheduled between 3-6pm. The technician did not show up until 6:30pm (Not 6:15 Matt. I have phone records to prove this) . I explained to Matt that I had to take off from work early for this appointment and expected a free cleaning or at least half off for my time wasted waiting for the service. He initially offered me a 10% discount. Are you kidding me??? Matt showed no remorse and his explanation for the late service was "These things just happen." Unacceptable. After arguing with him for several minutes I talked him into at least giving me the pet odor service for free (He reluctantly agreed), which is only like 20 bucks. Pathetic. Management is greedy. You would think a company that has no problem generating business with over 300 reviews could cough up a free cleaning for not providing a service on time. Actual service did not begin until 7:30pm due to equipment being set up (1 hour and 30 minutes past 6pm Matt) and was not completed until 8:30pm. 5 hours and 30 minutes of my day gone. I would be fine with it if Matt compensated me accordingly. I also just learned from the technician that it takes 10 hours for the carpet to dry before I can start moving my furniture back. So guess what? That means I have no bed to sleep in tonight! Peace Frog is giving me the middle finger, not the peace sign. read more

I'm happy that I decided to check Yelp for reviews on the company's that were popping up in my Google search. Those guys all had really, really bad reviews. Peace Frog is not only one of the best Doors songs ever written, it's also a small company that cares about doing a good cleaning job on your floors. I called Matt, told him my issues (multiple dogs - need I say more?) and an appointment was set. There were all kinds of pet stains thanks to my pets and the person who had the house before and we were all a little surprised by how awesome it looked afterward. I also had my couch cleaned which now looks new. If I can figure out how to keep the dogs off, we'll be golden around here. The price was more than fair, the service was great and the look of my living room is pretty damn amazing. read more

It's all in the details for me. I have used a couple of other carpet cleaning services in the past, but Peace Frog is my new go-to. My carpets look amazing. Jason was professional and pleasant, he had a lot to work around, but he made it look easy! Jason put up "bumpers" against the walls so that the hoses did not rub, placed plastic squares under any furniture that he graciously moved around to clean under, and left me with a pair of "booties" to walk around on the carpet in. I was disappointed that my white couch had streaks afterwards (making it more obvious how dirty it is) but they showed up on time and stayed longer than planned...they tried. I feel like "regularly clean out the dryer vent" is one of those things that they should tell you about at closing when you buy a home, because really? Who knows you are supposed to do that?? After learning that a neighbor had found BIRD NESTS in her dryer vent, I figured we should probably have someone come and take a look. Gene and Josh came out on very short notice and proceeded to pull about 12 tons of nasty, matted lint from my vent. They were quick and efficient and didn't try and scare me with the 'you were THIS close to a house fire!' threat, but rather gave me reasonable and practical advice on the necessary upkeep going forward. They were friendly and personable and patiently waited in the hot laundry room while I ran to meet my kid's (late) school bus. The folks who answer the phone and do the scheduling are also extremely friendly, efficient and process the paperwork electronically, which I definitely appreciate. I had Peace Frog come in and clean a very stained but otherwise not overly dirty carpet. He also cleaned out my dryer vent and patched a hole in the carpet. Matt's very conscientious and stayed for several hours to try and get the stains out of the carpet. Also, he charged me less than the quoted price for the dryer vent cleaning because it turned out to be easier than he expected. There were a few things I didn't know to expect, so I thought I'd share them: 1) Matt's very good about moving furniture but there are some caveats: a) Stuff on top of the furniture needs to be removed (trophies, lamps, etc.). b) He generally won't move full bookcases (although he did move one for me since it wasn't a very heavy one) 2) If he really has to work hard on an area of carpet, it can take a full day to dry. It is fine to walk on a damp carpet, however. 3) If he patches a hole in the carpet and you don't have a spare piece, he can take a patch from a hidden area (like the corner of a closet) -- I did expect a hole in my closet corner, just not the one he picked. So if you care which corner, make sure you tell him or you might have a hole in your carpet where you didn't want one. Matt told me if I ever find a spare carpet piece, he'll be glad to come back and patch the hole in the closet. 4) It wasn't clear to me from the quote that a large hallway gets charged at the same rate as a full room, so be aware that the price quote is his best guess until he actually sees your house. As I mentioned above, he charged me less for the dryer vent than quoted. 5) He will put a cover over the front door to protect it from the hoses and to keep the cool air in the house. That was a nice touch. I do plan to call on Peace Frog again when I need another carpet cleaning. Matt does a great job and takes pride in his work. read more

A friend had used them and they had good reviews on line. When a deal popped up on Angie's List I decided to pull the trigger. I need my father's apartment in a retirement community cleaned. I purchased the deal and the company contacted me quickly. We were able to schedule quickly as well. The day of the cleaning, they sent Jason out. Quickly we all realized there was an issue. The cleaner is attached to the truck. They can not clean anything more than 250 feet from the truck. The retirement community is large and it wasn't going to work. No issue we will reschedule with a portal machine. Th catch the portal machine is $150 minimum. I didn't care. I was on the clock to get this done before my father returned from a trip. Thankfully, we were able to reschedule with the portal machine the next day. This time James came out. He walked me through the process and asked me questions, etc. He seems confused by the invoice since I had prepaid with the deal but quickly got that resolved with the office. About 45 minutes later he was done. He asked me to review the work and it was fine. As I purchased a deal and there was a minimum charge to bring the portable out, they gave me the DuPont spray at no additional charge. That was very kind of them to do. It is actions like that which make some companies stand out. Overall once we got the portal machine to the location the whole process was great. A few small stains are still around but the carpet is white and has never been cleaned. The overall condition is better. They left a coffee cup, magnet and booties. The office has followed up with me the day after the cleaning. Overall would use the company again and suggest my friends do the same. The one tip is be sure to really explain the location you are having cleaned. I never thought of the cleaner being on the truck and not reaching the apartment. I now know and will be sure to state I need a portal in the future to clean my father's place. read more

How can you not feel affection for a cute Peace Frog?! My husband found Peace Frog Carpet Cleaning through their Yelp reviews for cleaning the carpets and repairing them for our previous rental house. We have 2 dogs and 2 cats and the carpets had gotten some various pet stains as well as one of the kitties going spastic on the corners of the carpets at the top of the stairs and by the doors of one of the bedrooms. We wanted to find a company that could steam clean the carpets as well as repair the damage the kitty had done before we turned over the keys to our rental house. So here is Peace Frog Carpet Cleaning! They arrived a little later than anticipated which my husband had left work early to meet them and wound up having to do some work while waiting on them to show up. However, when they did make it, they were diligent and focused on completing the job. They repaired the carpet at the top of the stairs and by the bedroom door by taking out some of the original carpet in one of the spare bedroom closets. They then put in new carpet (it wasn't an exact match but pretty close) in the closet. Then they steam cleaned the entire upstairs of the house and managed to get out all but 2 of the pet stains. The carpets looked really great and the repair job was flawless. They are affordable and have a solid reputation. Please note that it's best to have cash or check to pay them with as it's tricky to do a credit transaction with them. We wound up having to send the carpet guys off without payment as we weren't forewarned about the trouble with credit cards. The manager called us shortly after they left and got our credit card info over the phone so it wasn't too bad but I sure did feel bad not being able to pay them on the spot. They left us a super adorable Peace Frog coffee cup and magnet! We always love free Swag and I just heart the Frogs so much! Our carpet was in serious need of cleaning due to the fact that we have 2 dogs and 3 small boys (9,6, and 3). We moved in to the new house three years ago and have only done spot treatments since. The crew that showed up were courteous but we were unhappy with the end result. When I booked the cleaning I made it clear that my main concern was to get the carpet smelling clean and I understood that some discoloration was going to stay. It wasn't until they arrived that it was decided I would need to be up charged for some extra treatment that in the end was just an artificial scent that lingered for a few hours and before the carpet even finished drying it was back to the condition that had prompted me to seek professional cleaners. Since no stains were removed and my carpet didn't smell clean, I feel I would have been better off renting a rug cleaner myself. I called on a Monday and they were able to come out to our house that same week. I had my carpets cleaned and the grout and tile in our kitchen/dining area cleaned. Robert, our technician, was fantastic. He was prompt, friendly, and did a great job. Our carpets were not too dirty going in, but Robert was able to make them look new again. He took his time and raked our carpets after he cleaned them. He even moved our sofa so he could clean underneath it and helped move a foosball table. The grout in our kitchen was extremely dirty and stained. The prior owner did not seal the grout when the tile was installed and it did not appear to have ever been cleaned. Robert thoroughly cleaned the tile and grout and was visibly upset when it did not look like new. He spot-tested an acid wash to see if that would help and was apologetic when it did not make a difference. Even though our grout does not look like new, it is visibly cleaner than before. I highly recommend Peace Frog for any cleaning services they offer. I plan to use them again for our carpets and our upholstered chairs. Our technician, James, showed up on time, professionally dressed and with a smile on his face. He was courteous throughout the 3 or so hours he worked in our home. It was crazy in our house that day as I was babysitting my two nephews on top of taking care of my son and newborn baby, but he didn't miss a beat or seem put off by having to work around us a few times. The quality carpet clean we received was worth every dollar we spent. We have a few, really tough, high traffic areas in our home that get dark and grungy looking after about 6-9 months of kids and dogs running in and out of the house. After our carpet cleaning, everything looks brand new. James used bumper guards, padding on the front door frame, an industrial fan to speed along the drying process and booties over his shoes. We also had our sofa cleaned. I had some concerns about getting it really well sanitized, and our technician spent and extra 20-30 min explaining the cleaning process, my different options and had great attention to detail while cleaning the sofa. He also did a test spot on our kitchen tile and grout and HOLY COW what a difference that made. We'll be scheduling a kitchen tile/grout cleaning in the next 4-6 weeks along with a seal to keep everything protected. We've been using PF for over three years now and have always been very pleased with their services! I highly recommend. read more

He was realistic with us about the drying time and set up a fan in the main room while he completed the other rooms. We are first time customers who located Peace Frog on Yelp. James was considerate and professional. He told me what he would be doing each step of the way. He also did a small section of our kitchen tile to give me an idea of what the grout cleaning would entail. There was no residual water on the tile flooring when he finished. I scheduled a full kitchen grout and seal after seeing the difference. I called and scheduled a carpet cleaning and spoke with Matt. He was very nice and informed me that because I was referred by Yelp that they could offer me a great deal to clean my house. Although he was booked for the day that I requested he said that he would squeeze me in. Believe me, I was thankful since I was having some furniture moved into the house and the carpet was in desperate need of a cleaning before it arrived. A few days later, Matt called and emailed me to see if I could reschedule due to a flu pandemic hitting his office and even offered a discount for the inconvenience. While I was a little disappointed I asked when he had an available appointment so that I could reschedule. The next morning, Matt sent me an email saying that he had remembered our earlier conversation and that he was not going to let me move items in a house with dirty carpet. Even though he was feeling under the weather he offered to come as soon as he completed his last job. Needless to say he arrived on time, was very friendly, and did a PHENOMENAL job on the carpet. The carpet had seen brighter days after being trampled on and not well taken care of by my boyfriend and 2 other male roommates. Stains that I thought had no chance of being removed are gone and it looks as good, if not better than the way it looked when the house was purchased. I wanted to get an old WHITE couch steam cleaned and they did an amazing job. It was a sectional and they charged me $15 per foot so the total came out to around $180 but that's a whole lot better than buying a new couch! I do have to say that it seemed like they were a little disorganized on the back end. I got two separate calls telling me two separate times of when our guy was going to show up and I ended up having to rush home because he came a lot sooner than I expected. Fortunately, he was waiting patiently in our driveway and he was very nice and understanding. I had no idea they did tile cleaning but I will definitely use their services again! read more

Jason was great! He showed up on time, was super friendly and was in and out way faster than I expected. Plus, all the carpets were free of pesky dog hair that your normal vacuum can never get out, and the carpet looked good as new -- even in the spots where our rescue dog had some unfortunate accidents when he first got to his new home. Even raked our looks-more-expensive-than-it-really-is rug to make it fluffy, soft and very clean. On the way out, he gave us care instructions, a pair of booties to use until the carpet was fully dry, and a coffee mug! I'm a fan! read more

My master bedroom carpet is old and needs replaced, and there were many stains, some I knew wouldn't come out, but Peace Frog made a huge effort to remove most of them and it looks (and smells) so much better. I really like that they use a door buffer to keep some of the heat out instead of having my front door hanging wide open in the July heat for hours. read more

Even came out on a Saturday to correct an issue with the first cleaning. Further reading: I initially inquired about having Peace Frog clean two area rugs, but was advised against doing an in-home steam cleaning for the type of rugs I own. (They didn't just do the job and take my money, but advised me on the best course of action.) Instead, I had them out to clean my living room furniture (sectional and chair with dark charcoal fabric). After the first cleaning, we discovered after drying the cushions came out streaky and gray. I was terrified I had just paid to have someone ruin my couch. I called and they immediately had their technician out the next day (On a Saturday). After a second cleaning, the couches were good as new. We believe the first cleaning wasn't enough for these couches that have never been cleaned professionally. read more

My technician was wonderful and did a great job. Polite, on time, all the right stuff. However, the last time I used PeaceFrog, they charged me their 3-room special plus the stairs and even though I have one less carpeted room now (2 tiny bedrooms and a living room), they charged me for the 3-room special plus the stairs. The day before my appointment, about 22 hours before my scheduled appointment, I tried to postpone my appointment because I had back spasms and my husband was out of town so I couldn't do the vacuuming. Even though it was due to a physical issue and I was only 2 hours short of 24 hour notice, they were going to charge me $35 to move the appointment. Not cancel, just move it! They said the technician would do the vacuuming for a fee (or if he was really nice, he would waive the fee, which my technician did, but I tipped him). They claimed that the $35 charge was because the technicians get paid by the job. So, the company doesn't have much "skin in the game," to my way of thinking. I wonder if the technicians get the $35 for cancellations and postponing. So, the bottom line is that I am no longer happy with the company, despite the fact that the technician was great. I don't plan to use them again. By the way, the last time I used them, they ruined a part of my bedroom carpet by spreading what was apparently a bleach stain. The technician convinced me that a good restitution was to clean some of the grout in my front hall tile. The cleaning was a very small area and it didn't look much different. I regretted not having held them to replacing the ruined carpet. But that was my mistake. read more
