My 11 yr old son and I planned a date night to see a show at the PAC and I let him choose the restaurant. He was so excited to pick Peacemaker, as it was somewhere new for us to try! We made reservations online to ensure we had enough time to eat and make our show. When we arrived we were informed that the online reservations "don't always get updated" and they couldn't get us in for another 30- 45 minutes, no way for us to make the show. There were 2 hostesses at the stand that were very unapologetic and matter of fact that their online option was not a reliable method of reserving a table. BUT IT IS STILL OFFERED. We were heartbroken. We ended up walking down to Andolini's and still had a great date, but I'm hesitant to even give them my business after how insignificant they made me and my son feel on our very special and important date night. read more

Because I'm an Interior Designer, ambiance goes so much towards my happiness in a restaurant. Since we'd never been here before (shot in the dark, thanks Yelp!) we relied heavily on our server Darren's advice! BTW Darren is from the Cape Cod area, his expertise is almost priceless! We ordered his suggestion of a mix of 3 types of fresh oysters and I agreed with him on first second and third choice, all fresh and delicious I let Darren choose whether I wanted the Lobster Roll Connecticut style, warm with butter, or Maine style, cold with mayonnaise. OMG, Connecticut is THE WAY TO GO! Mike got the Catfish Poorboy and a side of coleslaw, that he loved. He shared a bite of the catfish with me. It was SO GREAT! If your appetite is large, my sandwich may not fill you up so get soup or a salad, too or the poorboy. The wife and I visited July 2024. She wanted crab legs but bodean's was booked. She ordered the crab boil (great btw). I wasn't hungry and ordered hush puppies and gumbo. The pups were tasty. The gumbo however was a tin cup of liquid crap. It had no andouille, rice, okra, langos, shrimp or chicken. The gruel was scraped from the bottom of the pan. Shame on you pacefaker. The hostess was indifferent to us, no big deal. The server and food are most important to me. Moody did fine but needs to anticipate his customers needs sooner. I had to grab his attention several times. Moody also sneezed into the collar of his t-shirt and squeezed it off with his fingers. Ick dead ass. I dropped 90+ with a 40% tip to Moody, which blessed him for sure. The kitchen staff made a point of asking me how the gumbo was. Deep deep derp derpity duuuuuurp. This is usually one of my favorite places and I often take out of town guests here but my visit last night was less than stellar. I ordered the Connecticut lobster roll for myself and my father-in-law and it seemed smaller than usual but that might just be because I was hungry, however, the taste was just OK. Usually you can really taste the melted butter but this time it felt that they just plopped it on the bun. My wife got the snow crab with a boil setup and that was highly disappointing. The crab shell was very rubbery and the crab itself tasted more fishy than sweet. The potatoes and sausage were dry, almost like it had been in the boil then heated up later. There was virtually no seasoning either so it was very bland. As I've said, this is one of my favorite places to take guests but I'm not sure if I will continue this anymore. read more

Peacemaker Lobster is a great place and easy to walk from the hotels. Nice beer selection for starters. Clam chowder appetizer was good, even if didn't expect it in the mid-west it was delicious with a generous supply of clams in the cup...impressive. I had the Oyster Po'Boy as a comparison to an earlier assessment of doing oysters in Tulsa..again a nice job and complimented with their own oven chips that were very good too. Nice place. My only criticism would be too many "market prices" for sea-borne fish. The difference can't be that exorbitant +/- $2 either way. Take a risk and put down some seafood pricing. read more

My Husband and I went for date night. We had never heard of it but it was on the city guide. Atmosphere is cute but the food was awful and the customer service was poor. Started with the oysters. Came out and 3 out 6 were as small as a half dollar. One was the size of a quarter. I couldnt believe that they would charge $3.50 a piece for that plus even serve it if they opened it and saw it that small. So I said something to the server and rather than apologize, she came up with an excuse that their northern oysters and sometimes their small. She argued with me and all I asked was they don't charge me for that one. The manager came over and he told me they took it off but for the remainder of the evening our waitress wasn't around; And we were the only table there that night. I asked if the cajun was spicy and was told no, but it was so spicy I couldn't eat it. Now my husband and I both are sick and few like we got food poisoning. This is a tough review for me and I'll do my best to explain. I have an upcoming trip to Boston so lobster rolls have been on my mind. After spending a weekend in Tulsa, I pleasantly discovered that there's a seafood place in town that offers the very thing I've been craving! (Yaaay!) Upon arrival, the design and decor are all excellent. There's spacious seating and the theming works. In the back of my head, I'm still fully conscious that I'm at a seafood restaurant in Oklahoma but I'm positively optimistic. Glancing at the menu, we're excited for the variety of options. We opt for the lobster roll and the crab roll in addition to a clam chowder and gumbo soup. The service from beginning to end is fantastic. Our waitress checked on us multiple times updating us on the status of our order and making sure we're not missing anything we need. This is honestly keeping this from being a 2 star review. The food and pricing left much to be desired. Starting with the soups, the clam chowder was too runny for my tastes. They arrived in a small cup and I just wasn't satisfied with what usually is my favorite soup to order. The gumbo had plenty more taste and so I'd opt for that if you're craving a soup. As far as the rolls go.. SO MUCH BUTTER and so little meat. The meats are deliberately stacked on top of the roll itself so it appears that all the lobster or crab is spilling out of the roll in abundant joy but alas, it's not true. The lobster and crab meat itself we're great but for $26, I had hoped to actually enjoy the experience instead of calculating in my head how much each shred of lobster was worth at market price. And the butter rolls... Once again.. SO MUCH BUTTER. I couldn't even finish the rolls themselves. Along with an order of hushpuppies, the bill totaled to over $65 for 2 people. I don't mind spending for good, quality food and yes, I know we're in Oklahoma.. but I couldn't help but feel a little disappointed with this experience. read more

when it comes to seafood, i always order the po' boy before anything else. this spot had a select few & i went with the buffalo crawfish. it was so good that i already had another one in mind to order whenever i come back. it comes with celery slaw, ranch & bleu cheese. you'd think ranch & bleu cheese together would be overwhelming in flavor, they actually worked well together. the crawfish was slightly crispy with the right amount of buffalo sauce. the bread is slightly toasted & had a buttery taste to it. the sandwich comes with chips (kettle cooked) & remoulade sauce. i never thought those two would work together, yet i couldn't even of the combination. i'm convince remoulade would work with anything! give it a shot. outside of that, the service was good, wait wasn't long to be seated & the same goes for waiting on the food. their drink selection caught my attention, i'm coming back for the slushies. read more

We tried the lobster roll ($26 at the time we went, which is kind of comparable to other restaurants nationwide, I guess), fries, potato chips, hush puppies, and clam chowder. Only complaints, they make you pay an up charge for fries (really? You're charging $26 for a lobster roll and you're making us pay more for the fries?) and this place can get expensive...weekday lunch for 2 was over $70 (aka a treat yoself meal). It's Lent, and I always give up a few things that are difficult for me to pass up (i.e. red meat, pork and chicken). In a way, it's a great experience to stick to seafood and veggies, and try new things. Hence, going to a different state and finding sweet spots like this one. I had the Connecticut Lobster Roll and the Shrimp Poorboy. I was truly satisfied with both and the recommendations came from a very sweet barkeep named Sindy. She knew her stuff and...to make the wait for the food even better, they had Weller's Special Reserve to sip. I can't find this stuff in NJ or at any bar in the North East to be honest. Cons: I'm not sure I actually like lobster rolls? The first one I ever had was in Boston and it was amazing. It left me wanting more. Every single one I have had since has been underwhelming. Their lobster rolls are amazing. I live in okc and luckily once or twice a month I have to go to Tulsa and I always stop by Peacemakers. They have two styles of lobster rolls: There's the New England style that's a heap of sweet lobster meat piled onto a soft, buttery bun with melted butter. And Maine lobster roll is served with the lobster meat chilled and dressed in mayo with some crunchy greens like chives, celery, and/or scallions, I prefer the Maine style. First visit was rough in the beginning but then they stepped up their game and I left quite impressed but still it there yet overall. They want to do things right but it's new and they're definitely finding their flow with the demand and excitement buzzing around. They'll get there but still new right now. Overall, good seafood some things priced than others. Had to wait a good while to get service (20 plus minutes...) before we ended up walking to the front to ask 'do we order at the bar or do we have a waiter?' After that they quickly got us a waiter and all was great. Drinks came out, menu arrived and then the food. It was great! I'd personally pass on the clam chowder next time as it's not just how I personally prefer it but it'd still really good and flavorful. The best was the steamer clams, so good!!!! Then the lobster roll was good but it was really small, I can easily see myself leaving hungry after leaving a lobster roll if I didn't get a hearty side with it. In Boston I've paid the same price for twice the amount but it was still really good. $22 was the total cost on that. I ended up getting really quite hot inside and just fanned myself and I kid you not they cane over and told me they were adjusting the air. Maybe I should be embarrassed but I was actually sweating so I tried not to feel too high maintenance. Very small portions. The chucks of lobster meat were very small, it's hard to tell the size in the picture. But it would only fill maybe half the bread when assembled. The lobster had a bad texture almost similar to imitation crab. I paid $27 for the roll and it was maybe the amount of half a lobster tail.. The homemade chips were good. The fried green tomatoes were not good either, way too sweet. The small slider buns of lobster were also not worth $13 for two very small chunks of mushy lobster. We ordered shrimp cocktail, a side of hush puppies, crab boil and shrimp po boy. The portion sizes were generous and we didn't finish. Probably the best although not traditional crab boil I've ever had. Everything was cooked separate then put together and it was delicious. The problem was the rest of the food. Shrimp were huge for shrimp cocktail but it was a chore to get peel off and very bland cocktail sauce. The hush puppies were perfectly cooked but also bland. They were served with a green aioli that had 0 flavor. The po boy was okay- again bland but the pickle on it was delightful. Our waiter Hutch had 0 personality. He was adequate but not good.
