Let me start by saying that I didn't try any of the rolls or buns so my 3 star review is based solely off of my desert and fry experience. I want to be fair. I ordered ice cream with magic shell and got ...melted milk stuff and a smidge of magic shell. I would never order this again. My childhood memories are far better than whatever was served to me in a tin cup. The fries were warm, but I basically paid 5 x's more for McDonald fries. A business lunch done right! A short walk from the office lead us to this delicious place. Started out with the Lobster Mac n Cheese - highly recommend. Also had the Hush puppies - they might have been some of the best Hush Puppies I've had! A dozen oysters on the half shell were also devoured! My lunch was the Peacemaker (Oyster Poorboy) house chips and I added a side order of Cole slaw. The sandwich was definitely worth it and very tasty, the chips - meh nothing worth noting. They added nothing to the meal other than decoration. The Cole Slaw was on the brink of being great but there seemed to be something lacking. I can't exactly put my finger on what the slaw needed. One would have never known since the dish was cleared by the end of the meal! When traveling in Tulsa on business, I saw the high rating so decided to check this place out. Cute inside, expensive menu but then again - fresh seafood in Tulsa. I ordered a Maine lobster roll at $29 so expected quite a few chunks of lobster. The lobster had a lot of dressing which took away from the taste. After we got our food we went probably another 15 minutes before we saw the waiter again. At this point most people's beverages were empty. This place really is a Peacemaker. The food is so good it could end wars! Seriously, everything we tried was fresh, delicious and elevated to another level, especially for seafood in Oklahoma. So happy to have a place like this to go. I got the Buffalo Crawfish Po'Boy, and holy firecrackers Batman, it was tasty! Not too spicy, not too bland, just perfectly seasoned, sauced and cooked. Each bite was so packed with taste, I kept raving about it the whole meal. The fries were also delicious! Every fry was crispy, crunchy and seasoned very nicely. I asked for a side of the taragon aoili with my fries, because I just wanted to try it, and I enjoyed that as well. I ate half of my sandwich and fries and took the rest to go, because we wanted to save room for the carrot cake whoopie pies. I'm glad we did, because the whoopie pies should be called the "Wha-BAM! Pies", because they were packed with flavor, soft, yet a crispy exterior somehow and the feeling so perfect to go along with it all. I can't say enough great things about the food that we had on our trip. The service was great and our waitress was very friendly. We had a bit of a hang up, because we asked to buy a gift card for one of my wife's coworkers, and nobody really seemed to know how to get a gift card for us. We were there on Friday night a couple weeks ago. I put off writing this review because I was so disappointed. Hubby was too. One large group was having a youngster birthday party. They were thoroughly enjoying themselves. We've spent an ungodly amount of time in Nola, that's all I'm going to say. (Although when I think lobster roll I think northeast, like Boston or Maine. Nola's right there with other seafood) Hubby said his po'boy was okay. He paid the $2 upgrade for fries. Looks like most people don't mind the extra $2. I so craved a lobster roll. After reading the reviews I discussed it w/ our waitress. She completely understood and offered to put the butter on the side of my Maine roll. At least it wasn't dripping, I could control the butter. But the bun was dry and like another reviewer noted, just seemed off somehow. And with so little lobster it's always gonna seem like too much bread. I was charged $28. I liked the homemade chips, but was disappointed they weren't warm which would have made them so much better. The service was outstanding. Loved the atmosphere and service, wasn't wild about the food. My wife and I ordered the lobster boil and the steamed clams. The clams were tiny. The bread that came with them was great. The lobster boil was kind of a mixed bag. The tail was tough and chewy, though the claw meat was fine. The rest of the boil (potatoes, brussel sprouts and sausage) was pretty good. I am sad to write this review. This is a neat spot and a nice change to our local dining community. It has a nice vibe, the service was friendly and efficient. All element that would cause a return visit. Food- this is the issue. I have had outstanding rolls on the East Coast and was excited for this new addition. The lobster was cooked perfectly but the bread .... this is an integral element of a roll and we have a failure. Rather that a roll they use some type of bread that looks like toast. That is bad enough but then they use butter or oil and grill it. The oil gets on your hands and gives an oily taste to the sandwich. At $28 this was a failure. I would consider returning but ask how bread is prepared for any sandwich before taking the leap. read more

Easy to get to when downtown for events and such. I really wanted to try their Lobster roll, but just couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger for a $24 sandwich. Instead I ordered their lunch special, which is Soup + Half PoorBoy sandwich. My choice was the Buffalo Crawfish which was served on a nice, soft roll and was dressed with celery slaw, ranch & blue cheese. The clam chowder is New England style, but not as creamy as others I've had, however it was delicious. Great atmosphere, but I believe it could get very loud. The lobster roll was outstanding and a little overpriced but if don't mind the spend you will love it. My wife ordered the shrimp boil and it was superb with just the right amount of spice.
