Like I can't be mad at them, since I'm the idiot who paid $25 per ticket just to dine here. $25x4 just to get in the door. Plus $13 for a cheeseburger x4, $7 per order of tator tots x2 and one $7 order of onion rings. I could have went to a steakhouse instead and paid the same amount. The inside did look like the peach pit, but I thought there would be more, you know, saved by the max style at least their tickets included an appetizer and entree. They also had a small frame dedicated to Luke Perry, really small and really seemed like an after thought! Some 90210 fans are acting like the Peach Pit Pop Up is so bad that Ray Pruit personally pushes them down the stairs at the end of it. Sure, Nat didn't take my order and "Laverne" didn't sing "It's My Party" to us, but I'm glad that I at least got to experience a taste of the Peach Pit. And by "taste" I'm speaking more of the feel of the place, than the actual food. The menu here is sort of like the 6 episode BH90210 Reboot that aired on Fox this summer - it leaves a lot to be desired. I'd recommend opting for Steve's Grilled Cheese over the cold Brandon (Veggie) "SandWalsh." If you reserve your ticket here, you actually don't have to buy any food at all. The inside is undoubtedly small, but we enjoyed sitting at the counter and taking in the décor. And if you don't want to even do that, I suppose you can just walk by on Melrose and take pics in front of the Peach Pit. read more

Horrible for foodies. Fun for 90210 fans. I can't say much about this experience that was positive. The location was very grimy...basically it just didn't look clean, so I decided not to eat here. There was an area in the back near the bathroom open for all to see that was dirty and trashy. The decorations were practically peeling off the wall and had a layer of dirt on them. While I decided not to eat here, my friends did. The menu was basic....reminded me of bowling ally food. Expensive frozen food basically. If you are a 90210 fan it's a cool experience to be able to take photos with friends. Lots of photo ops for sure. And the sound track playing at the Pit was awesome. As a fan of the show, this was a HUGE disappointment. I'm extremely upset! First of all, the AC was broken!! and we had reservations @ 3pm for indoors but it was hotter indoors than it was outside!! This is inhumane. You should have not been open for business if the ac was broken at 91 degree weather outside!! They should have gave us a discount or provide some sort of reimbursement for the tix. That is just unreal. They have some explaining to do! Also the food was no bueno! And the prices are ridiculous!! the tator tots tasted so bad. My husband bit one and he bit something hard. I also didn't like the fact that the "cooks" were texting on their phones while handling food. I didn't go inside since it was closed as they open at 2pm but I am a 90210 fan so this was amazing even taking pictures of the exterior and the mini version. Definitely Instagram worthy and if your a fan you will love it on Melrose. The diner itself looks small though from the outside. read more

This was such a LAME pop-up experience. I wish we hadn't paid money to do it especially after attending the saved by the bell pop up which was fantastic. There is literally nothing to see but a few pictures and random crap they stuck on the walls. Inside is a dinner feel where you sit up at the bar and have your choice of 4 items none of which really sounded amazing see menu pic. I ended up getting the burger and it was super messy and just a basic burger nothing impressive. One of my friend got the onion rings had one and then didn't eat the rest as they weren't really fried so more of a mushy texture that she didn't like. My other friend got the wedge salad which she stated was a "joke". There is no alcohol here at all which was also a big bummer. Back in the hallway inside is literally just two bathrooms and a sink in hallway and a phone with more pictures on the wall. The "after dark experience" in the back of the diner is a room with a mini juke-box, a microphone stand, some graduation hats and a board with a few signs and you guessed it more dumb stuff stuck to the walls. It's like 8ft by 6ft big as well and the wait staff comes in and out non stop walking back and forth from kitchen to their back area so it makes it awkward. There is a patio outside as well for eating which seemed a little better than the inside but still just an outdoor patio to eat on. We were in and out of this place in 24 mins including ordering, eating food and walking around. The only good things about this place was the music they were playing and the guy taking our order was friendly. HIGHLY recommend skipping this experience and saving your money!! read more

I love LA for these fun pop up opportunities but this one was...different. It's super small and the photo ops weren't up to par with other pop ups. I made reservations a while back but when we got there it wasn't busy. Also my friend tried to join us but it said sold out online. We sat down ordered our food and then walked around the photo ops. There was a mini peach pit restaurant and an after dark room (size of a closet) we took some pictures and then went back to sit down. Our order came and thankfully everything was delicious. I ordered an impossible burger with avocado and a side of tater tots for $24. My milkshake was $8 and they sell water for $6 so not the cheapest place especially when you have to pay $25 just to get in the door. But all in all it was a fun night out with my friends. I just wish they took a page from saved by the max pop up. read more

When I heard there was gonna be a "Peach Pit Pop-Up", I got gitty! As a huge fan of the show from the 90s, this idea sounded like a blast since I had gone to "The Max Pop-Up" (the restaurant/diner from 'Saved by the Bell') and was impressed by how accurate they reproduced it! They're were even red lockers like in the show! Well, whoever had the idea for The Peach Pit Pop-Up stopped at the idea. From the design to the food, no effort seemed to have gone into this. What a disappointment. It seems as if the wallpaper was the ONLY thing that replicated the diner from the show. Everything else was off. I felt kinda used since it felt like it was there in name only so that it could help promote the new revival show (BH90210). That too failed in a lot of ways but at least it had the original cast back where here, there not really anything from the original except maybe the staff uniforms but even then they failed. I mean, it was accurate right up until the sleeves. Brandon's uniform had the sleeves rolled up and the inside color (red or dark red) would show. These uniforms missed that ONE aspect! WTF? So, you go 95% of the way and then stop?! I dunno. Even the Mega Burger did not match the look or description of what was on the show. Too bad. I'm giving the place one star since the staff was fun and answered all my questions! I basically paid almost $60 to take a bunch of selfies at a moderately decorated location that was vaguely reminiscent of the Peach Pit. The air conditioner had broken so I inadvertently paid extra to be in a sauna situation which kept getting hot from all the cooking and frying going on just feet away. The Peach Pit 'after dark' seemed to be a complete after thought and was some pictures on a wall and a fake jukebox about the size of a closet. I got some great pics but refused to give them any more money and I'm enjoying happy hour down the street. This pop up is not worth what is essentially an entrance fee! My first one star review ever. My experience has nothing to do with the service there. But the overall experience was very disappointing. Felt like very little effort was actually put into the decore especially after attending the save by the bell pop up. Then given the fact you pay 20-25 just to have a seat. If you go don't pay more to sit inside because it's only bar seating inside. Lackluster experience so save your money and go spend 200 bucks on actual good restaurant. If you are a fan of the show and the Peach Pit is pure nostalgia for you- it's worth the $25 fee for the photos you'll take visiting. We had a mixed group of fans and those were just down for adventure. You are paying $25 for photos to take you back as your dressed like Kelly Taylor or Brenda Walsh. Outside of that it's not worth the hour drive (SGVer) and attempting to figure out what streets are safe to park on. We went to the Max this time last year and it was worth every penny- food was great, photos were like a blast from the past, we bought shirts. My friend and I ordered food to purely say we had milkshakes at the Peach Pit. It tasted like a $3 milked-down Costco soft serve with chocolate syrup but for $8. We tried the onion rings and they were what you'd anticipate at a bowling alley. The menu was very bland and lacked creativity. The menu items were also cheesily named after main characters with little to no creativity. The waiter showed up pretty infrequently and gave his number to the booth behind us- because the crazed fan wanted his Peach Pit uniform and he agreed to sell it in two weeks when they close. The wait staff overall was nice, just not very attentive. We got water once, never asked for a refill. The photos on the walls looked like they were printed in an office and put in dollar frames from Walmart, like I actually think I have the same frames. The wall paper is peeling off the walls. If I could give this place negative stars, I would. For any of you that went to the "To the Max" pop up restaurant, let me just tell you, this does not even compare, meaning To the Max was great and a wonderful pop-up experience while this place was better as a Johnny Rockets. As a pop-up, it's cheaply and shoddily done. You might as well just take pics on Melrose in front of the restaurant because there are no real photo ops inside and for fools like myself that paid for a dinner reservation that included nothing except for some especially rude front of the house staff, just DON'T. And don't eat anything here either. The food is like overpriced kids menu cafeteria food and everybody that ate in my party (4 ppl), and we didn't eat the same things, got food poisoning from this Shit Pit or Money Pit. Whatever you wanna call it, it sure is a Pit and definitely not peachy. There were some nice nostalgic pics but it was so lame and NOT WORTH IT. I repeat, NOT WORTH IT. Also, they didn't even get the music right. Horrible experience from beginning to well after (thanks for the food poisoning!) Also, notice that there is no phone number for the actual pop-up so no one you can actually speak to or contact should you have any recourse. Awful!! This is so poorly executed. I even wonder if the studio had anything to do with it. Do not waste your money paying for a reservation nor eating here. You can just go through and take pictures. The food was okay however they did not have anything that varied from what was on the menu. There was no pickles, no ranch, nothing I asked for. They served soda in bottles 24 oz. bottles. The water was served in plastic cups. They actually hired an executive chef for this. Where did they find her? Was she cooking in a hospital cafeteria as a short order cook?? This food was maybe a glorified kids menu. All the prices were the same for the 4 items offered. Don't turn the menu over as it's the same thing on both sides. The shake flavors were chocolate and vanilla. Pretty basic and very boring. read more

Anyone who gives this place above 1 star must have extremely low expectations in life because it is a total joke. After being charged $25 a ticket to reserve a table I thought the experience must be pretty great. Cut to my long awaited yearly trip to L.A. and seeing this joint in person. It's basically a gloried food truck. The outside is logo is the only thing they really nailed. The Luke Perry booth is tiny and stuck out on the patio where the glare is so bad you can't really even get a decent pic. The decor is very unimpressive. The color scheme is there but there is no memorabilia whatever rather than some framed pics one could easily find on google. There's one tiny unisex bathroom that doesn't even have a sink in it. There's no merchandise other than a thin white t-shirt and some plastic glasses. That's it. The food is average and overpriced. A $5 drink is just a regular plastic bottle you can get at any gas station. They don't even pour it for you. The $14 burger doesn't come with any sides and is far from 'Mega'. Oh and did I mention we didn't even get an actual table? Nope, just a couple of measly bar-stools at the counter. Every person I talked to there was just as disappointed and upset as my party was. It is a total ripoff and scam. What exactly did that $25 bucks a person even buy? This place wasn't even busy, now I can see why. This show is an American television staple, it will forever be iconic and an establishment like this should honor that. It feels like someone was trying to make a quick buck off of the show's popular return this summer. Was really looking forward to coming here after having been at THE MAX pop up which was the total opposite of this place. The Peach Pit was sloppy and filthy. Absolutely no thought put into any of it and the food was like whatever. Tiny, crowded, overpriced, sticky floors, dirty countertops etc., it even smelled funny. This was such a disappointing experience! The location is tiny and the decor is obviously cheap and temporary, most of it is damaged and coming apart. It is $25 to walk into the door. That is all you get...entrance into a tiny badly done pop up. This could have been such an amazing experience if they had put an effort into it. My daughter wore her Donna Martin shirt and was all dressed up for her visit and she was so sad at how terrible it was. As a fan of the original 90210 I was expecting a fun blast into the past. I did get a little bit of that with the "diner" portion but that's where that ended. Honestly this felt like a slopjob and was rushed to be produced. The outdoor dining area was so trash. Literally a dumpster near the back side entrance of the "After Dark" part of Peach Pit next to a dining booth. Like wtf is this?? The food was school cafeteria grade at best! And the prices?? Pfffttt Totally not worth it!!! Then going inside, the half assed props and memorabilia-esque sets were also trash. There's a bathroom door that has a picture of "Brenda and Brandon in their home bathroom" and the interior of the bathroom is NOT THAT AT ALL. The souvenirs that are for sale.. two crappy tees and a pair of black wayfarer sunglasses. I honestly am so disappointed with this pop up. It could've been so much more. That a place is legitimately a scam. We paid $28 each to get in. So. Not. Worth. It. If I threw a 90210 themed party, I'd have better decorations and more creative ideas to incite nostalgia. The people who licensed the peach pit name and created this pop up are making a killing out of deceiving innocent fans. We were hoping for some nostalgic feels. Nope. Nothing.
