I would describe this place as homier than First Watch and healthier than Denny's. It resides in a great location, a clean plaza near country clubs. I was more impressed with their food selections because not every breakfast restaurant has asparagus as a side choice, quiches, and eggs Benedict. Overall their choices are healthier, and the wait staff was very attentive. There's optional patio seating and the place was clean overall. This is one of my favorite lunch places! There is a fantastic outdoor space with gorgeous oak trees and shade. The service is always spot on too! I love the Santa Fe chicken wrap and Santa Fe grilled chicken salad. Their iced tea is always excellent. The breakfast is really great too with amazing biscuits if that is your thing. Friends rant and rave about their eggs benedict (which is not my thing). My kids love the pancakes and they are huge! I will say the coffee is just ok but I am a coffee snob. Friends have had their other salads and sandwiches and everyone is always very happy with their selection. They are only open for breakfast and lunch and on the weekend the wait can be long. Second Peach Valley I have been to and the food is still amazing. There was almost an hour wait, which I guess is to be expected on a Sunday morning, but we were able to sit inside and wait, so not too bad. The server was attentive and got our drinks out right away and once we place our order, it was in front of us in 15 minutes! That was amazing....But after that the server kind of slacked off on checking in on us and our glasses were empty for a bit before I waved her down to get another one and then once she brought the check, she stood there and waited while I got my card out, which was a little annoying. Have peach valley at other locations. The place and ambience is comparable. Food was good just remember it differently. I usually get the stuffed french toast. For some reason it wasnt on the menu but if you look at the yelp page its the top dish. Just found it strange not sure when the change happened. Ended getting an omelet and potatoes which were good. Service was average seemed like our waitress was annoyed. She seemed pleasant to other tables. Not sure what we did to make her feel that way. There was a large crowd waiting when we got there but we decided to stay anyway as there were seats in the waiting area. It took about 30 minutes to get a table but was well worth the wait. The waitress was super busy but greeted us promptly and was super nice and understanding. Truly 5 star service- I was thoroughly impressed. I ordered the pumpkin pancake (which was perfect), eggs, and a caramel iced coffee. Unlike most breakfast cafes/ diners, the coffee was actually reallyyy good. I was impressed as I normally end up with coffee so bitter, I can't drink it. This was delicious. My boyfriend enjoyed his biscuits and gravy. I had a small snafu with my order (my fault really), but they were so gracious and went the extra mile to make sure I got exactly what I wanted and was satisfied. I truly commend the server as well because I saw how many tables she was juggling, and not once did she forget anything- in a span of thirty seconds I saw us request a coffee, another table ask for waters, and a third for creamer, and she got back to everyone in less than 2 minutes- I wish I had gotten her name. After a morning of running errands a bit farther afield than we usually stray, we decided to enjoy our lunch outside at the Peach Valley Cafe located in the Shoppes at Oakmont, in Heathrow. The view from the outdoor dining area at this particular Peach Valley is the most bucolic I have found in the Orlando area. We gazed across rolling fields of grass, punctuated by occasional trees, a pond and an old shed. I believe that the property next door to Peach Valley may be the greenest place in the Orlando area! While the view was wonderful, I have to judge a restaurant on the quality of its food--not on the pastoral scenery. Fortunately, Peach Valley offers consistent breakfast fare that is much more pleasing to the palate than the more established breakfast chains offer. My party of three, plus my dog, arrived at Peach Valley at about 11:15am. That is a great time to arrive because it follows the breakfast rush and beats the lunch crowd. We had no wait for a great canopied table outdoors. Our dog was welcomed by our server plus two others and we were quickly put at ease about having our dog join us. We were also pleased that our server was eager to bring a bowl of water for our puppy to enjoy. My party included my wife, our younger son, and me. My wife ordered the New York Style Bagel, served with smoked salmon, cream cheese, chopped hard boiled egg, tomato, red onion and capers. She confirmed that the salmon was very good quality and that all of the other ingredients were fresh. My son was quick to finish anything and everything that my wife could not finish. My son ordered steak and eggs. The steak was a 7 ounce NY strip. He ordered it medium and that is how it arrived at our table. The steak was not overly fatty and eagerly devoured. Eggs, ordered sunny side up, were perfectly prepared. Breakfast potatoes were not overly heavy or fried. Unlike some chains, the Peach Valley breakfast potatoes taste like potatoes and not like grease. I ordered a vegetable and egg croissant Benedict, a croissant sandwich prepared with grilled tomato, red onion and asparagus with two poached eggs and Hollandaise Sauce. There was perhaps a bit too much Hollandaise for my taste, and that was unfortunate because the asparagus was surprisingly fresh and tender but the sauce tended to mask the flavor. Nevertheless, that may be my own personal taste and I should have thought to have asked for the sauce on the side. I really did not need all the calories anyway! Our server was very nice and made us feel very welcome, so much so that I really want to give Peach Valley a 5th star which is usually reserved for non-chains. I did not offer up a 5th star, however, because I had to wait far too long for refills of my coffee cup. Peach Valley and every other breakfast venue should always have a floater wandering around and filling coffee cups during peak hours on the weekend. It might be a small detail, but on Saturday morning, it is never a small detail to me! On the whole, we thoroughly enjoyed a very relaxing breakfast at Peach Valley and I hope that my wife tells me we have errands in the Lake Mary area again soon! There are a lot of healthy options here--the salads coming out of the kitchen were bright and vibrant, and looked very fresh. I opted for breakfast foods just because I love breakfast. The grits were not as warm as they could have been and looked more serious than they were. The pancakes were perfect, and that's really why I came, so I was happy. We eat here all the time. It's a go to place for us whenever we want a beautiful al fresco breakfast or lunch experience - especially when we go walking or riding on the Seminole-Wekiva Trail. We love that they offer their breakfast menu all day because sometimes you just want breakfast for lunch! The food is consistently good and they have a lot of servers who have been there a long time which I think speaks well for a place. So why only 4 out of 5 stars you may ask? Well, I'll tell you. Sometimes, it is too popular for it's own good. The wait can be crazy on a weekend and finding parking that is still in the same city can be a challenge. Also, occasionally when they are slammed like that, the kitchen lands in the weeds, so a long wait for a table turns into a longer wait for food. This restaurant is only open for breakfast and lunch which is kind of a bummer. Their location is so nice, it's a shame you can't enjoy them for dinner too. Tip: If you are heading their way - either on the trail or by car, you can call and they will put your name down on the list. That way your wait on a busy weekend will be less. And check out their bathroom - they have handless door openers: you just wave your hand in front of the sensor to open the door when you are ready to exit. I appreciate that convenience. read more

I was really excited to try this place because I had heard so many great things. The food was really good but I have to be honest, the service was terrible. We went on a Saturday morning which was probably a bad idea because the place was packed! We waited about 30 mins for a table for 2. Once we were seated we waited about 5 mins just to be greeted by our server (meanwhile tables that were sat after us were already being waited on). After looking at the menu for 30 minutes (while we were waiting for the table) we knew exactly what we wanted so we gave the waitress our order along with the drinks, hoping that would speed up the service. She brought our drinks out right away but then we didn't see her for another 30 minutes until our food came. We ordered more drinks and asked for napkins, she only returned with the drinks . The food wasn't really hot (I image it was sitting under the heating lamps for some time) but it was good nonetheless. We finished our food and another server cleared our plates and still no sign of our very busy server. (At this point the other two tables that sat right after us had already eaten, paid and left) Eventually I went inside to look for her to ask for our check, she was very prompt in bringing it out and even waited while I pulled out my credit card to pay. Then she disappeared for another 10 minutes. She finally came back, thanked us and gave us a half ass awkward smile. Overall, the food and mimosas were really good but I wouldn't say we had the best experience. I definitely want to go back and try it on a not so busy day but for now I'd have to rate my experience as mediocre. read more

Arrived just before noon on a crowded Sunday morning in August. There's a really nice outdoor dining area overlooking a small courtyard and a lake on the Seminole Wekiva Trail. Our waitress Sharon is just adorable and helpful. My wife wanted the Benedict without the muffin, Sharon suggested substituting spinach, a great choice! My steak (with steak and eggs) was grilled, slightly overcooked but very tasty! The creamy grits had a surprisingly good texture and good taste. We also had a half order of apple fritters really tasty, hot n fresh. Went back for lunch a week later, another good experience. The restroom is clean and I really appreciate having the no-touch automatic door opener, because most people don't know proper handwashing technique. Great experience, every time we've dined at the lake Mary location has been pleasant . They are always busy, we did have a wait time of 15-20 minutes but it's well worth it. I recommend the apple fritters, delicious appetizer that is always on point.
