    Rigatoni with salmon
    Yvonne D.

Went for an early dinner during the weeknight and felt very rushed by the server. The place was empty what are you wishing us for? I had the vodka rigatoni with salmon and it was delicious. My friend really enjoyed the crab pasta (with added shrimp). We started with calamari and ribs. The calamari was good but the ribs could've been more tender. We got the strawberry mocktails and they were delicious.

My lunch, Montauk Whiting fish w/ Jumbo Shrimp along with fries and slaw.

3 down, one more to go. Had very good experiences with Peaches Hothouse & Lewis so I went up to Peaches Grand as my third venture to the Peaches establishment and it certainly lived up to the high bar as the previous 2 restaurants. Was automatically greeted by a waitress as I came into the place and took a seat at the dining area further from the bar since that area was fairly crowded. Place felt very warm which certainly was needed after coming out to the cold to check this place out. Made myself comfortable as I was waiting for my food to come around which I'd have to admit, was a bit on the long side but I had nothing else better to do so I just took it easy. My food arrived I'd say a little after 15 minutes after I ordered but it was worth the wait. I ordered the Montauk Whiting Fish w/ Fries and additional Jumbo Shrimp and it was plated so beautifully which I would assume is a theme of sorts for this restaurant and I fully endorse it. There was no misses with my meal, only hits from the tenderness and size of the Shrimp, the nice crisp batter of the fish without it being mostly flaky with little meat and the fries were prepared pretty perfect as well. It also came with tartar sauce which complimented the seafood very well. Another solid meal from a solid establishment. The waitress came around a few times to see how I was enjoying the food, responding with a thumbs up and enjoying my meal. All that's left is Prime, which I'll go on a warmer day if there's such a day during Winter.

On a recent visit to BK, I stopped in for brunch. This quaint spot boasts everything from brunch to seafood boils. While here I noshed on: Shrimp app- nicely sized, perfectly cooked shrimp. Coating was crispy but, it lacked in seasoning. Chicken & toast- 2 piece chicken with about 2 piece of French toast. Coating was crisp on both. Chicken was juicy. They have you a choice of white or dark meat. I could've did a third half piece of French toast but, other than that; dish was good. Mimosa- nice and boozy. I had pineapple juice with mine. I noticed that they didn't have bottomless. Bummer. Service was pretty attentive and food came out fast. I'd definitely stopped back in for dinner. SYOY!

Came here with my wife to celebrate securing our new apartment! The first thing we noticed is how much quieter it was than the other Peaches locations. There was a louder section in the front of the restaurant, but we were seated towards the back. We both loved the simple aesthetic. Her cocktail was The Grand, I ordered the white from New Zealand - which trust me will RARELY disappoint! They both delivered. We ordered the grilled octopus appetizer. We agreed it was the best grilled octopus we'd had since our Barbados honeymoon set the standard! That alone made it worth the visit! I ordered the Brisket Sandwich with bacon potato salad, she the Blue Crab pasta. Both were delicious and fresh. The pickles on the sandwich were a nice acidic counterpoint to the sweetness of the barbecue sauce. The brisket was tender and had a good smokey flavor. The pasta was briny yet balanced! We both left little behind. This could just be our personal preference, but neither one of us enjoys ice cold potato salad, preferring it be room temperature. The bacon potato salad though flavorful, was straight out of the fridge, which gave the potatoes an unpleasant texture that we didn't enjoy. And who wants congealed bacon pieces in their salad? We enjoyed them much more as warmed leftovers the next day. Overall, a much chiller version of the Peaches chain, and easily our new favorite! Will be back!

I came here for dinner after coming back from christmas vacation with my sister. We did have to wait about an hour because we arrived just as brunch was done and we were going to wait for dinner. We were able to get seated and go over the menu which was great as I hadn't had a chance to go over it and it was my first time at this location. For an appetizer we ordered The Lewis which was a spinach and artichoke dip with tortilla chips. It was nice and hot. For our drinks I ordered a False Alarm which had Dusse, Mango Puree and Lemon. It was sooooooooo good and had an amazing balance which brought out the nice smooth flavor of the Dusse. My sister ordered a Paloma which she is more into sweeter, juicier cocktails. For dinner, my sister ordered the Pan Seared Salmon and I got the Shrimp and Grits which is always nice, yummy, creamy and hearty. I has a taste of her salmon which was too good as well. I was way too full for dessert which I definitely would've gotten but I was already indulging too much this season lol

Visiting Brooklyn as often as I do, I decided to explore the local restaurants. I found Peaches Grand which is located near the place I visited. I came in and was greeted br Broderick. He was kind enough to ask my preference of dining arrangement. I chose the bar because I can sit high. The ambiance has a soft romantic touch with smooth jazz playing at the right volume. This restaurant is suitable for after church as the attire is dress or casual. The dim light gives a touch of elegance as well. I ordered fried shrimp for starters. The presentation was perfect. Big, juicy, and the right textures. Serves with tartar sauce and hot sauce, it has a full flavor of a southern dish. My main dish was salmon with scrambled eggs. The presentation was also perfect. Softly scrambled with chucks of salmon, greens on the side and toast. It was properly portioned and very good. I come back for another delicious dish!

The atmosphere is that of a quant cafe or bistro in Europe. I caught the last of their brunch menu and I was pleasantly surprised. I must come out to try the dinner menu. Yasin our server/ bartender was pleasant and made a fine drink. The Steak and eggs were good but the grits with parmesan cheese was the star of the show. My first visit was a thumbs up. I will update everyone on my next visit.

This spot is extremely trendy. It is huge and has a great atmosphere. Drinks are good especially the punch. The food was delicious especially the grits and mac. We had a minor hiccup with the service but that was immediately addressed and rectified. We were even given a discount for it without even asking. We would definitely return. I love the vibes.

Nice lay out. Great big bar , it wraps all the way around. They serve handcrafted cocktails. I came mid day on a Friday. Quick service sat at the bar. The staff is very friendly. I ordered the whiting it comes with fries and homemade tartar sauce. For an up charge of $10 I added fried shrimp it was about 6 nice pieces. My brother had the wings and fries. They are decent size wings. Not overly big. The food temperature was perfect the food just need a little flick of salt. Overall I enjoyed my time there.

Peaches Grand has some solid southern food and great cocktails in my honest opinion. For cocktails, the Brownstone Punch is strong and super tasty. My friend and I shared the shrimps app as well as the extra fancy fried chicken. The chicken was definitely the better of the two, but the shrimp was good as well. All in all, I would return back.

Burned Mac and cheese (flavorless) not even worth eating

The menu &!or chef has changed but the servers are definitely different & on it with the customer service- had the kale chaser salad + shrimp...it was ok .. the fried green tomatoes- great!! We had a server in training ...she was trying this is not an easy spot but, I will come back (as usual).

Went for happy hour and their end of month beer event featuring brown girl brew. I was very impressed by their selections and price points. I ordered the glazed spareribs for $9 and a cava for $7. The portion of the ribs were huge. Happy to see good food under $10! My total order was $17.42. Have to visit again to try some additional items.

Kale salad with garlic shrimp. Awesome.

Peaches Grand is another restaurant that I can't believe I never reviewed. I grew up in this neighborhood and Peaches was a wonderful addition when it opened a few years ago. It's a good looking place. It's set inside of a beautiful antique building that I'm sure, once upon a time, was someone's lovely home. My fave dishes are the blue crab spaghetti and the crispy fish sandwich with shoestring fries. The fish is so crispy and the bun is so soft. The fries are perfect. I sometimes wake up thinking about it because it's so delicious. There's a small bar counter to sit at if you feel like having a tasty cocktail or three. Not sure if there's a Happy Hour but weekend brunch at Peaches Grand is really good.

Do they serve brunch during the week?

I don't think they do brunch during the week -- but their weekday lunch menu does have a few brunchy items on it.
