Note that they close all day Monday's and daily from 3-5. Otherwise your golden. They stay open till 9. We stopped in after a day of riding, hungry and tired. The place was packed which is always a good sign. The energy level here is great. Lots of high energy from the two sisters running the joint. The menu has lots of options in lots of variety. You can even customize your order to your liking. The food was piled high and never seemed to disappear as we cleaned our plates time and again. We were in town skiing and needed a place to eat. Looked up yelp and found this place. We were not disappointed! Everyone working here was super friendly and the food was incredible. One would think Chinese food in a small town, not so good. These guys set the bar high. The waitress never let our drinks get below half full and noticed every time we looked like we needed something. We had 2 varieties of lo mein with fried rice. We had lunch there earlier this week while on vacay.....our Airbnb recommended and so glad we went!!! So yummy! The owner is so friendly and takes such pride in the food. We had dinner here and enjoyed it, but were not nearly as impressed as many others. We ordered chicken with cashews and szechuan pork. Maybe I should not have ordered Szechuan in a Cantonese restaurant, but if it is on the menu it should be good. The pork had no heat and little interest. The chicken with cashews was better with crisp stir fried veggies and skin-on tender chicken. The white rice was fine, but the fried rice was poor at best with almost no additional flavors. The spring rolls were really good, soups standard fare, service was excellent even though it was packed, and prices very fair. A good enough experience, but nothing special. read more

Good orange chicken and lo mein, and the BEST TOFU I HAVE EVER HAD. The staff is lovely, although we did have to wait a bit as they don't have a lot of cooks. Absolutely order the tofu and veggies. read more

So, I am a very hard to please Chinese food eater having been spoiled by NYC's Chinatown cornucopia of fresh and flavorful bites and I must admit that I was hesitant to try this little hole in the wall out even though the reviews were good...BOY I AM GLAD I DID!!! From the delicious cup of wonton soup and very nicely steeped hot tea I knew I was in the right place. The cream cheese wontons were perfectly prepared and the Moo Shu Pork had the best flavors that I have had in years! Despite how busy they were the staff was so pleasant and gave great service. Absolutely a must if you're in the area. I've had carry out from this place on two separate occasions and have had a variety of their meals, appetizers, and soup. The wonton soup is great and hits the spot after a cold day out on the slopes. Staff is super friendly and both carry out orders had plastic wear, sauces, napkins, etc... both orders had everything we ordered. Only thing I didn't care for were the egg rolls but I believe that's because I'm used to bigger egg rolls with more filling and thicker wrap. Not their fault, just my preference. read more

Ya'll, this place is a gem. Like someone else mentioned in an earlier review, don't let looks deceive you. The exterior does not reflect the quality of the food. (It's really good!) They do request patience due to being understaffed, but we found that we didn't have to wait any more or less than usual for our drinks to be refilled or our food to be delivered. Great food, gargantuan portions and gregarious owners! There's no way, if you find this little gem in Granby, you won't leave with a smile and shaking your head at the humor and outgoingness of your servers. I live near San Francisco and this place has the best quality Chinese food I have ever eaten. I had sweet and sour chicken and the portion was generous and the chicken was lean. I appreciated biting into it and not finding fat under the deep fried breading. The employees were extremely friendly and our food came out super fast. It was an excellent experience. While staying a night or two in the Granby area, we wanted some Chinese food and we were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and the absolute amazing customer service by this place. As New Yorkers, we were pleasantly surprised by the welcoming nature of the female owner who completely killed the customer service game. Great Chinese in Granby. Stopped here on the way back to Steamboat, and we didn't have a single regret. Made from scratch Chinese, the owner is a welcoming presence throughout the restaurant. Every seat was filled when we walked in on Sunday at 1230, but service was quick and friendly, despite signs warning that they were short staffed. Highly recommended! read more

Loved the food and service. Our food came out hot and tasted very good. I had the sesame chicken, it was very sweet and crispy with a slight bit of spice. My mother had the Kung Pou Shrimp, it also had a slight kick of spice and a rich flavorful sauce. The egg roll was more like a spring roll. It did not have meat that I could see, but a lot of cabbage. I wasn't a big fan of the egg roll and they forgot to bring our crispy wontons, but that wouldn't keep me from coming back. Bizarre experience. I went in last Friday shortly after 5 p.m. to place a to-go order. Really simple stuff - soup. appetizer, two dishes. I asked whether it would be ready in 10 to 15 minutes. To which the woman at the counter replied, "Closer to 20." Fair enough. I wasn't in a great hurry and was fine to wait. To be accurate, there were signs post about the restaurant being short-staffed. But this was beyond "short-staffed"; they were completely over-matched. After more than half an hour, I politely asked as to the status and when I could get my order. The woman behind the counter, trying to be pleasant and to juggle, said, "It's coming right up." Which I too to mean, fine, hang out for a couple of more minutes and I'll be good to go. After another 10 or more minutes, I inquired again. At this point, the woman essentially threw up her hands and said, "I don't know." To which I responded, s politely as possible, by telling her that I wasn't trying to be impatient; that I understood they were short on staff; but asking for straight information - whether we were talking about another two minutes or ten minutes or what. At this point, she replied again, "I don't know. And I can't make you any promises." I tried asking again, but she was clearly over-whelmed. Another woman, who had placed a to-go order before me, was having the same experience; getting the same non-responsive run-around; and growing similarly frustrated. At this point, they asked if I wanted to cancel my order. Which I did. They gave me a full refund (duh!). But I left with no food after wasting 40 or 45 minutes of my time. This disappoints me as on two previous visits I had found the fare surprisingly good. And there is a shortage of Asian options here or in any nearby towns. But unless/until they can get their act together, my advice sadly is to stay far away. read more

Hooray! The best restaurant on Earth has re-opened as of 8/12/19. The food and service are as excellent as ever.

While they have signs all over warning you they are short staffed and you need to be patient, we were seated and served with in 25 min. The staff is very friendly, and the place is clean and we'll light. The food wasn't even the best Chinese I have had in Colorado, but it is about 1000% better than most small town Chinese restaurants I have been in. Overall if your within 30 miles and looking for food I would suggest trying it. read more

I was vacationing in Grand Lake when I drove by this restaurant. I am so glad I stopped was the best Mongolian beef I have had in a very long time. We had been riding atv's all morning so we were hungry and dirty. While driving in to town we look at yelp to see what was close and yummy. Pearl Dragon popped up with almost 5 stars so we said we must eat here. Coke products are available. They also had Arnold palmer as a drink option. That was a nice surprise and it was very drinkable. The lunch entrees come with your choice of egg roll or cream cheese Rangoon. Soup choice of egg drop, wonton or hot and sour soup. We ordered Mongolian beef, beef lo mein. Beef and vegetables and sweet and sour chicken. My Mongolian was nice and crispy and spicy with lots of veggies. We had to get to go boxes for the beef and vegetable and the beef lo mein. I knew I had picked a winner for lunch when the owner told me the Mongolian was her favorite too. I will go back again before I go home and when we come back to Colorado I will make sure to eat here again. read more
