Good Product This seems to be more of a take-out place than eat in. It has limited number of tables and it's pretty smokey inside with the ovens going. We stopped by passing through and ordered a quality pizza! We also ordered wings and enjoyed them. We ordered a side greek salad and they are pre-made as we couldn't hold the onions. We have tried to place orders multiple times in the last six months and the phone either rings for eternity or gives a busy or disconnected tone. Used to love this place. Ordered online a dozen times. Then today ordered Pizza, wings and salad online for the first premier league game of the season for 3:00 pm and PAID ONLINE! Went to pickup at 3:00 door was locked and an employee sitting at a table just waved at me, they did nothing to see what I wanted. I've ordered take out from Peel Pizza Duxbury at least a dozen times and always consistently great pizza! I grew up on New Haven style and other great CT pizza so after trying pizza from many south shore spots, only Peel hit the mark for me. Very tasty Rustic Neapolitan, sooo good every time. It's the best pizza on the south shore, I'm sure there's different pizza in Boston, but I would be hard pressed to say better. Once something gets good enough it's just a matter of preference. Peel has a thinner crust but still with some chew and toppings that are legit. read more

Ordered three pizzas and a salad. No salad came with the order and two of the pizzas were incorrect.

Our experience was a delivery of 2 pizzas and family agreed we would eat until full, but not order from here again. Pros: They are open, they deliver, they were on time, and the staff is nice. Cons: Sadly to say, the product itself. We ordered a Stuffed Pepper Pizza and an Artisan, but substituted "caramelized" onions for the fig. The common denominator was the crust which we agreed had no business being made so large. It was super hard on the outer edges while super limp and unable to support toppings in the center. The smaller crust may have had a better, more consistent texture (ours were both large). Stuffed Pepper pizza was just okay. The hot peppers (and we love spicy food) made it so after the first bite of pepper you can't really taste anything else. The Artesian was just not what it could have been. There was no balsamic glaze as the description promises. The "caramelized" onion would be better described as a crunchy marinated onion, which would be fine if you are expecting that and order it looking forward to that. We like a true caramelized onion that is sweet and super soft. The arugula, which we love on pizza, didn't work here as it seemed either old or like it got overly "cooked" when placed atop the hot pizza. Not sure how long it sat under a warmer, but it was not fresh and lacked the crisp bitterness arugula should have. Might be better if the arugula was put on the side so it could be sprinkled on right before consumed when it is a delivery. read more

Ordered a small pepperoni pizza here. The mixture of cheese, tomato sauce and pepperoni was delicious. There was a kiss of sweetness probably from the sauce, so good. The crust was a let down. The underside of the dough almost tasted stale. But texture under the cheese was soft...odd. With a brick oven comes a very crispy burnt crust if you like that in a pizza. I love wood fired pizza because it's always just cooker perfectly and it's never soggy in the middle. That's when you know you have a perfectly cooked pizza. The dough was crispy and airy. Would have been great... but the hours listed it as open and when we got there (a twenty minute drive with 2 toddlers)... they told us they were closed and that the owner never responds to people asking them to update their hours online. Won't have my busiiness UPDATE- Brendan got in touch with me to see what he could do to remedy the situation. Apparently he has contacted Yelp several times to have the hours changed, but they are continuously changed back. He invited me to try their pizza at a closer location to my house. I went in and was super excited to try their gluten free pizza (there are not a lot of options for this, and the ones available are not typically delicious). The pepperoni seemed like it had extra Parmesan cheese on it when it was done cooking! The pizza is super thin which is just how I like it! My husband and I "attempted" to go to this place last week and it was an epic fail. When we first walked in, the two teenagers at the front counter were too busy playing with an iPhone to help us, so we stood there. When we finally placed our order, we told them we'd wait outside for it to be ready--they said 15 minutes. Mind you, the restaurant has two giant windows in the front, so you can very easily see the tables outside on the patio where we were sitting. After almost 30 minutes, my husband went in to find that our pizza and calzone had just been sitting there. When he brought it outside, we realized that his pizza was wrong and would need to be remade--maybe if they weren't playing on their phones they would have gotten our order right. Since my calzone would be cold by the time they remade the pizza, we told them we wanted a refund and left. Fast forward almost a week and my husband just noticed that his card was charged anyway! I have no idea what the food tastes like, since I didn't get that far, but the customer service was awful. If you're going to employ young kids to work in your establishment, make sure they understand they are WORKING and should be paying attention. read more

After reading the reviews, I was looking forward to trying this pizza. I was actually quite disappointed. I like the thin crust, but not much flavor. We ordered a cheese pizza with roasted peppers. Very bland, not much flavor at all to the rust. I pick on people that put salt on pizza, but I was tempted to do so on this pizza. Maybe ours was just slim on sauce. I couldn't be happier that I make the trek. Pizza was delicious and staff was friendly and helpful with any questions I had.
