Flies were all over the pastries - one fly crawled down into a a crevice and hung out there for a bit before coming out
Susie Q.

Went to Peet's today for a coffee and when I looked into the pastry case I was shocked at the amount of flies leisurely walking on the pastries. I asked the worker if they served customers from the case and was told yes - that is a huge health hazard! Flies carry E. coli and Salmonella for starters. There were several babies - which means there are maggots somewhere in the store. There were also a few adult flies. I was told someone already complained to the manager but nothing was done. There was no rush to clean out the space or clear away the flies. I have been to many coffee shops, and I understand that a random fly will sometimes make it into a case and get shooed out, but this was beyond unacceptable. I saw a fly walk into the crevice of a scone and completely disappear! Peet's should take a more proactive approach on dealing with this problem before someone gets sick. I have been to this store over the years and have never seen this before - but their lack of attention to the situation and leaving food out for customers to purchase is earning them a 1 star.

Awesome triple chilled capp!

The staff have your order ready right away , they always greet you with a hello and first name. The shop feel like fresh coffee and treats are everywhere. It's nice to be right on the street and look out the window as people pass by! Good location , good staff

Do not come here if you're in a rush! I always wait 15+ minutes at this Peet's. This store always seems to be understaffed. The last few times I've visited, my latte was barely warm. Mobile ordering isn't an option (at least not today 12/15/22). The staff are always nice and friendly and this is a convenient location in downtown Livermore. But I've had better experiences at other Peet's locations.

Limited inside seating.

Peet's has very limited inside seating. quite a few outside tables available. mask wearing in still required inside. brew: black tie cold brew (m. 4.60) -it came with cream and ptopably some some sugar. -said to parallel new orleans coffee, vietnamese coffee -the flavor didn't wow me. maybe too much cream settled on the bottom. may order the "straight" cold brew next time. service was very good. still busy in the afternoon.

Framed gift cards is a cute decoration inside.

Great place to visit while one meanders downtown. As it is at the main intersection, parking is at a premium. With the restaurants nearby and the great weather almost year round, a visit here is always great. There is a lot of table seating inside with a bar near the window for seating as well. Located next to a little corner park, the outside tables and umbrella are along the greenery which keeps things cooler. The fountain across the street really add to the relaxed atmosphere. Loving the new Summer Tea Shakers. Favorite is the strawberry lemon with iced green tea!

Peet's is our preferred stop for a quick pick-me-up in downtown Livermore.
Navin K.

Our preferred stop for a quick pick-me-up in downtown Livermore. During COVID, there is no indoor seating and the bathrooms are closed. But the selection and service remain as good as ever. Our favorites: -- Black coffee (their brew is stronger than SBUX Pikes Place) -- Havana Cappuccino with cinnamon on top! -- Brownie (warmed up, of course!) -- Banana nut bread (ditto) -- Scones (Maple Walnut, Lemon Poppyseed) -- Bacon Cheddar Brioche sandwich Take it all to go and enjoy on one of the public benches nearby!

My large matcha latte that wasn't filled all the way
Lor H.

This Peet's location is the worst location! They have the worst service. I came in to order a large hot matcha latte to go and when I got home I opened the cup and it was literally half way! If I wanted to order a medium I would have! They shortened me half a cup of matcha! How annoying! I called to tell someone and a guy answered and asked me to hold for a minute so I said "ok" ... he literally left me on the phone for 15 minutes and I just hung up the phone! Can you imagine the customers that are trying to call Peet's and have a busy signal for 15 minutes?! He was having conversations with the employees in the background and talking about his personal life! Who has time for this?!?! This is a business not a friends get together! I heard them giggling the whole time!

The balance of matcha flavor and guava was 5/5. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm shopping in the area. It was satisfying and makes me crave their matcha!

The inside was very cute and had a very clean look. They had two kiosk on the side if you want to order on your own or you can order with someone helping you. We ordered thru kiosk, so not too much interaction with staff. Drinks did come out fast though! Overall, decent place for drinks.

My drink (can't remember the name, but it was coconut 'loco' ) was REALLY good. The drinks range from $16-$22 from what I saw, so somewhere from the median to the upper scale pricing. One of my buddies got the old fashion soda, which he liked, and another got the monkey drink. We didn't get to order any substantial food this round, but I'll be coming for the rum cake and spam misubi! Overall I'd 100% come back here, and highly recommend it for an escape out of your typical downtown livermore cocktail bar. Great job Rosetta! Keep the themes coming!!

During my visit, the Toast POS system appeared to have a 15% tip already selected, and it was added to my transaction. When customers are in a hurry, it's easy to approve a payment without noticing a preset tip. Tipping should be a deliberate choice, not a default setting. I was also surprised that Rosetta Roasting does not accept cash. While businesses can choose their payment methods, I believe customers should still have the option to pay with legal U.S. currency. The coffee and staff were good. My feedback is directed at the payment policies, which I hope management will reconsider.

Although this was a tad off the freeway, it was easy to find with plenty of parking. There were beautiful trees & plants outside, which also surrounded the patio area. There was a good amount of seating inside as well as one gender neutral restroom. I thought the one seating counter with built-in phone chargers was awesome. The space was clean with a modern yet rustic feel. The employees were fairly friendly and made our drinks rather quickly. I got a matcha latte with oat milk & brown sugar vanilla syrup added. They had so many unique syrup options that I had a tough time ultimately deciding, but the brown sugar vanilla was honestly such a great choice. I'm an absolute matcha snob and make my own at home all the time; the one I had at Grounded was quite delicious and I could tell they use a higher quality matcha than most other coffee shops, which made me happy. My husband went simple with a cold brew coffee and said it had a good flavor with low acidity, which he very much enjoyed. Next time we have to drive to/from Oakland for work, we'll be stopping in again and my husband will likely be taking a bag of beans home too now that he knows the coffee quality was high. COFFEE: 7/10 Their coffee has potential and looks aesthetically great. I'd give it a 7/10 because I was hoping to taste more of the flavors described in the drink I ordered, especially the espresso. It ended up being a bit too milky for my taste. Honestly, my drink tasted more like oat milk than the brown sugar, vanilla, or espresso. That said, I'd definitely give their drinks another try!
