Love this Peet's! They make a very good decaf iced coffee and their regular iced coffee is cold brew which is amazing. Sometimes the iced coffee is a bit too weak, but it's almost always great. White mochas are good here, not too sweet. $1 refills on coffee and tea (iced or hot) while you're in store. This store has a good amount of indoor seating, and there are some tables and umbrellas outside. The baristas are generally very friendly. Parking can be difficult between 11:30am-1:30pm and 4:30pm-6:30pm but you should still be able to find a spot farther away. Wish they had a warming oven. read more

Have been a frequent customer since I moved to this region. Peet's Coffee is definitely better than Starbucks. Peet's really tastes and smells like coffee. The environment and ambience are nice and comfy. The only problem is sometimes the inconsistency of the coffee made. Personally, the lady baristas coffee is more preferred, they always make the coffee right in terms of smell, taste and temperature! Too hot is just not right! Yeah, small size is better than the medium one as both use one double shot of espresso, so the small one tastes stronger and better. Like their Peetnik Reward program. Sunday afternoon - 4:30 pm. You'd think it would only take about 5 minutes to pop in for a cup of coffee and something to eat. But not here. 1. I was the third person in line. But somehow it took me about 10 minutes to get to place my order, because the first person in line had to explain to three people how to make the same 3 drinks "she orders every day" In fairness, that's not Peet's fault, she wasn't exactly articulate and I think there was a language barrier. 2. After ordering a small coffee, I was told "it'll just be a minute" since they just started brewing another pot. After checking back in 5 minutes, she apologized and said she thought the other worker (are they barristas?) would bring it to me. Apparently not. I took a peek behind the counter and the floor was filthy - wet and covered with grinds... Oh well, if nothing else, at least I now have my coffee, right? 3. No. I go over to the table w/ the half & half - and ALL 3 jugs are empty. What the??? OK. I take all three over to where the guy pretending to be a barrista is working, and ask if he can get some half and half, when he gets a chance. No acknowledgment, no apology. NEGATIVE STARS! I was very disappointed today with the rude, cold and abrupt service of the lady who took my order. Upon entering I stood a little behind the "wait here to place an order" marker with my guest as we discussed what drink we were going to get. Before I could look towards the counter the lady behind the register calls to me (and my guest) "are you ready to order?". I responded by explaining that we just needed a minute. There was no one in front of me or behind me in line at that time, and we had not stood there for more than 2-3 minutes. But her manner was rude and hurried. It was just 4:30PM in the afternoon; there was no foreseeable rush. I then proceeded to go up to the glass case of pastries to see what was available. While I'm squinting at the case of baked goods/prices, trying to determine what I wanted, again the lady at the register calls to us: "are you ready to order?" This time I respond in a more stern voice, "I am just trying to see what I would like to order." At that moment someone did come in line behind us so the lady at the register moved on, "Can I help you?" she offered the next customer. I thought it was nice how she was gentle with them - at least she was capable of some customer service. Although at that point I was ready to order and now just waiting at the glass, clearly looking up and attentively ready to place an order - she was now busy fixing the new customer's drink. Granted, there was a second employee in the background who probably could have helped as well. When she was done fixing the drink and returned to take our order, I was greeted with a blank stare. Not, "how may I help you?", "what would you like?". I explained that I had come in to order the promotional drink of this season. We both told her which pastries we would like. Because I had brought a guest with me, I wanted to pay for them. I asked if it was OK? (Although, I can't imagine a business ever refusing a customer's money.) My question was responded to by a blank stare. I just wanted to make sure if she needed to process this in two transactions or one. I thought it would be courteous to give her a heads up that I would be paying for both. I guess she didn't care for my chivalry. All I got was an, "Alright" and she put her hand out. I was holding my wallet so I figured she wanted my credit card, but a little more communication or clarification would've been nice. She swiped my card back and forth several times (I wouldn't have known how much she was actually charging me; but was smart enough to read the display on the register). She gave my card back and then went to get the pastries. When she returned, I asked if we could have them warmed. Her response was, "We don't do that." I was puzzled, I said, "Really?". Her blunt and rude response yet again was, "We don't have a toaster like Starbucks". So I was quiet - nothing more to say to that. A few moments passed and I waited...wasn't sure what was next. She had processed my credit card, but I didn't get a receipt, nor was I asked to sign anything. There was NO COMMUNICATION - an apparent skill she was lacking. She finally looks at me with her blank stare and rudely says, "I need to take the order from the next customer" (in a tone that really said, "get out of here!"). So I responded just as bluntly, "Can I have my receipt? I didn't even know we were done." I rolled my eyes in frustration and walked away; I knew my coffee would be terrible. So much for sampling the seasonal drink. My guest and I stepped away from the counter to wait for our drinks. She took the next customer's order then proceeded to go make ours. I could see her talking to the other employee, whispering something & then laugh out loud. It was good to know she was capable of anything close to a smile. I debated how I wanted to handle the situation - speak to a manager? Instead, I decided that I didn't want to deal with her anymore. I had had enough. I took my terrible coffee and left. After tasting it though - I knew I couldn't leave it at that, I had to let Peet's know (yes, it was THAT bad). This was by far the WORST experience I've ever had with ANY barista at ANY coffee shop. Now, I sit at my office desk, eating my cold, dry pastry with my SUPER SPICY small Mayan Mocha. This Peet's location of mine, that I've trafficked regularly for over 4 years doesn't deserve to be home to a begrudging employee who has no respect for customers. PLEASE HELP. I would appreciate if you could somehow repair my relationship with my coffee shop. read more

As I am a no frills coffee drinker, this Peet's meets my every need. I like my coffee black (no cream, no sugar) and Peet's dark roast is the way to go. This location is clean, fast, efficient. I'm in and out of there in 5 minutes. The staff is also very friendly every time I come in. I need to find a new Coffee Shop. I have been going here for like 5 years but as of late the place has gone down hill. There used to always be cool peeps working there. You know, energetic, personable, fun to talk to (cute girls to look at, hehe) but I believe the place has FALLEN under new ownership and it seems to be all about the bottom line. The workers never seem happy or upbeat. Every time I go in for a simple latte I have what I assume is the owner trying to push pastries on me. Feel like I am at a car dealership or something. So I will only go there if I have too (if I am with someone else). Peet's is better than Starbucks in my book as far as the coffee goes for the chain stores but I will head to the local Starbucks when in the corporate work area until ownership or management changes. read more

I was a little disappointed with my service at this Peet's yesterday I went to grab my usual ice white chocolate mocha after my morning run. So it was the usual someone took my order and I waited for my order but after seeing two people grab there order before mines I finally decided to check on my order. The barista lady said she was sorry and that she would make me a new one. But after over hearing the two baristas talking among themselves the other guy said he didn't see my order there. I mean he didn't call me a liar but my credit card was charge for something after thinking about the lady that took my order did over charge me what I usually pay or did their price go up. My friend took me and his cousin here for coffee as he lives near here and loves the place. The coffee was OK but I was not impressed with my bagel I received. I was hungry and decided to get one and the cashier told me they are not able to toast it. (Which is what I wanted) But I figured OK no a problem, I will just eat it cold with cream cheese. During the morning and around noon it can get busy with all the tech employees coming to get their fix. Staff at this location is polite, professional, and patient with all of those trying to make up their minds or changing their minds when they are already made up. You get the point. Came to celebrate exciting news with a friend at night. We had 45 minutes before closing and I ordered my chai latte with almond milk and my friend ordered a regular vanilla latte. When I picked up the drinks at the counter, I asked the barista if he could take off the foam from the chai. He gave me attitude and said, "Next time order it flat." I replied, "I just forgot this time." Turned out a lot of it was foam and he used some "milk" in a steamer cup. At other Peets they've pumped it from a separate container. I asked again if it was almond milk, because I can't have too much dairy. He said it was with the same snarky attitude. After finishing my drink with my friend I knew it wasn't almond milk because too much dairy sits in me and makes my stomach churn and I itch like crazy. Get in line (or, if you go to Peet's, you probably say, "join the queue") (really, experiencing the mass of humanity in the collective sense: this is why this deeply experiential coffee costs like five bucks), and wait for the line to go nowhere for maybe ten to twenty minutes. And the ordering experience will highlight the inadequacies of language itself, as your Peetsista hears "one large latte" as "two small cappuccinos," then as "four extra-hot mochas," then as "a giraffe."
