I tried out their new drink menu with the brown sugar coffee drink with jelly. They are pretty much the asian boba. They offer 3 new drinks but I don't care for matcha. Since Peet's is a coffee shop, I decided to try their coffee version. I believe the jelly costs like 75 cents extra. But it was worth it.

I met a gal she has beautiful purple hair she is kind. Well didn't know what to order and she helped me with the least judgement considering I wanted whipped cream. Anyways my card failed to work and this gorgeous purple haired gal with a mask paid for it. I don't know if she does often. All I know is I fell in love

    Amazing coffee!

This is our third time going here recently and every time its been great! The coffee is rich and delicious, this time I tried a coconut oat milk latte and it was one of the best lattes I've ever had! Their iced and hot teas are also amazing, I recommend the berry hibiscus lemonade tea.

Update: 1/27/19 Oh my goodness, can't even buy coffee beans here! Sent husband in to pick up a lb. of whole bean coffee for the espresso machine that was advertised on Peet's.com and they up-charged it to $25/lb. I'm DONE! Not even going for beans anymore. Just terrible! No effort ever to make things right either. Smh. Update II: Just have it a try again as I heard they now offer breakfast. There are 3 hot sandwiches - I had the arugula egg & cheese sandwich. The bread is different than the average offerings elsewhere and I liked that they had one with greens. That said I didn't think the sandwich was particularly tasty, and the bread was oddly chewy. The drink I ordered came with either zero coffee or they used cream, which I didn't order. The drink was a triple shot Havanna cappuccino and was almost white. No coffee taste although my husband said he saw them pour the shots in. I see there's at least a glass partition between customers and food, but if your barista is sick you may be joining her shortly if you order a pastry. Still not impre UPDATE: Not sure why the last review didn't publish before -- but I've included it below. Now not only are we having quality issues but they have taken out all of the comfortable seating they had and put in bar seating and what appears to be a board room table. The pastries have been reduced from a selection of quality items in a glass case to what I have pictured here. All out in the open to dry out and for anyone to cough/sneeze on. NO THANK YOU! Between the hit or miss customer service and all of this, I'm done coming here. What a shame. MY EARIER REVIEW (that si: This is my regular coffee shop. Usually my favorite in our area, as you can see my earlier review. Recently I've noticed they run out of baked goods frequently and the pours are less precision, leaving espresso in the stainless cups that doesn't make it into the drink. (The pour is supposed to be the Peet's hallmark of quality.) I was talking to an employee last week who said that they're under new management. Also at that time, I noticed they were out of the longer straws for use with the taller cups (which is what I get. -- I compensated by using a flat lid instead of the dome lid on my iced drink.) This morning I noticed they were again out of my favorite pastry (almond croissant) and long straws. I asked about straws and the guy on cleaning duty just mumbled something unintelligible and refused to look at me. I said no prob, I'll just use a flat lid. Nope! Out of those too!! We sat down and I just sipped my drink without a lid. This is annoying when you have an iced cappuccino by the way. We sat for a while and talked, and then I noticed another girl refill the long straws!!!! OMG. How NOT to run a business! If these new employees stay, I won't be coming in.

Friendly, nice place to work. Their hours changed though. They're open until 7:00. I'm not sure if that is seasonal or not.

Peets is the original and the best. Weird to see it in a strip mall in the suburbs, but hey thats progress.

Lots of toys for kids to play with while moms and dads enjoy a cup of whatever gets them going. Service was extremely friendly and the munchies were great too. Our dog was with us and she was happy to simply be mellow laying out in the sun. One child came over and asked what kind of dog she was and what was her name and if she could pet her. Shiba Inu, Mochi and yes. I saw some comments about prices being on the higher side. I recognize what people are saying. It's unfortunate that so many things seem to be getting out of reach of many Americans. I wish I had the magic wand that would make it so that more people could afford what they needed and that the business owners would still make a decent profit and share some of that with their employees in the form of living wages and benefits. I'm old school and we managed to both save and invest during our working lives. And now in retirement, we still don't spend like there's no tomorrow. If we can't afford something, we just don't do it.
