Me my husband niece and nephew decided to try peewees for breakfast very disappointing waited a long time before we even got our food and complex forgot my husbands order, they brought us extra gravy that we did not order we were halfway thru eating our breakfast before my husbands order was brought and still forgot his side they only took $3 off the meal his should have been completely free not only because it was not put in with the other orders but because she also forgot his side of sausage as well. We were not impressed with the slow service or the food. My niece had the crows nest and i hade Sloppy something with both were pretty good, but other then that out of 4 meals only two were good. read more

I called prior to our visit to see when their kitchen closed and they informed me it would close at 10pm but that the establishment would be open until 12ish. So, I asked if it'd be an inconvenience if we came at 9:40 and they were very cordial and invited us to come on over. We arrived to a very homey atmosphere and kind, quick service. There is a bar but I'd still say it was family friendly. We ordered our food and were very pleased with our food. We got the meatloaf, chicken bites, the Cathy melt and a buffalo chicken wrap. We all got sweet potato fries which had some powdered sugar on them. They were great! Our server forgot one side item but was very kind and quick to retrieve the item and she even took it off our bill. They have a sand volleyball court on the side where they sometimes have a league playing but they're open courts other than that. All around a great place! If there's a next time I'm visiting from CA, I'll definitely stop by here. read more

This place seems alright. Your typical Kentucky bar, nothing fancy... but for happy hour (I think before 7pm) you can get most of the domestic beer for $1. I missed most of happy hour, but if I return I'll update my review with the details. The big 'attraction' here is the volleyball court. Peewee's has their own league. There is one court and is fenced/netted all around (except next to the outdoor patio, which get a surprise volleyball occasionally). I subbed in for a friend and it was a good time. Staff seems nice and they carry my favorite beer, Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale. They also have what appears to be decent food and good food specials. I ordered some $0.50 boneless wings on a Tuesday night - no complaints! Who knows, maybe I'll try this place again even after volleyball season! read more

This is one those places that are jammed pack with good friendly people. Peewees is a place to get some great food and watch the football games drink beer and just be with friends and family and the owner makes you feel like he wants you to enjoy your night out. We went on a sunday it was packed my little daughter was made to feel like she was the queen, the owner made sure she got what she wanted thanks for that. It's a good local restaurant and bar. The people seemed nice and everyone was local. We got the Reuben appetizer. It was okay. It was deep fried Reuben rolls. It didn't have a lot of corned beef so all you can taste really is the sauerkraut. I wasn't wowed by it. I tried their mac and cheese side. The macaroni was so dry and rubbery. There wasn't enough cheese so it was basically eating the pasta. I had the BBQ pulled pork slider with sweet potato fries on the side. I really liked the fries. It wasn't too soggy and it wasn't burnt. It had the right amount of crisp. The sliders were average. It seemed like the pork was cooked too long. It was mushy. The BBQ was ok. This is a unique little hole in the wall. It's been there six years but this is the first I've heard of it. It's always been a bar. It's a UK bar! Don't forget to wear your getup. The owner goes around and mingling with the customers. If you can't find a seat people will offer you a seat with them. Drink specials always. They have a kids menu. All The FOOD looks wonderful. The owner was even spotted eating and drinking with everyone else. I got a great pic of him liking his fingers. You know it's good when the owner is eating his own food. I had the best burger EVER! It was a Ruben burger! Burger and Ruben together. Monday's burgers are $5, but not that one. The onion straws are fresh made, not something outta the freezer. They actually cut the onion and bread it before frying. They have these wontons with a hot dog in it covered with Hormel chili with beans and covered with cheese. This it's called fried cheese Coney's! I had to ask what it was first since it says just, fried cheese coney's. I wondered how they could fry cheese coney's. The whole experience was great. However, I was reassured by a real friendly sever who didn't bat an eye at the crazy antics of my three year old. The servings are big for not much money and everything was cooked perfectly! Before coming, I looked up reviews and it looked like a pretty good place. However, I was wrong. My friend and I came in early afternoon and we were just standing around, waiting to get told what to do. After the waiter took our order, the cook came out to our table and gave the waiter and I attitude, asking what type of sauce I wanted on my wrap and if I wanted it mild, medium or hot. I was confused to why I was getting attitude from the cook. Thankfully the waiter apologized on the cooks behalf but I didn't appreciate the attitude I received. When our food arrives, a different cook came to serve us, and I was given attitude again, while my friend was received kindness. There's a beach volleyball court in the back with a sandpit and shower to rinse your feet off. They also have shuffleboard, and a bunch of other activities in their outdoor area. Great greasy spoon joint. Looks like it is right out of the 70s with the dark wood paneling and a bar in the center. Burgers are terrific (rye bread for the Patty Melt is awesome) although the meat seemed a touch small (maybe 1/3rd pound) for the price. Breakfasts are great too. I had the Mess, which has biscuits, gravy, sausage, eggs and cheese. Service is pretty good, although a bit slow getting our check.
