I am absolutely mortified by the experience I just had at the HWY 290 location of Pei Wei. Never in my life have I experienced a more dismissive, rude, and unprofessional person at a restaurant than Serina today. Apparently someone can get so flustered by being the only person working the register during a light lunch rush that it's okay to yell, roll eyes, talk back, and just overall rudeness. All I did was ask if the hot and sour soup was available and she acted like I kicked her dog. She let me know that it's a 20 minute wait for food blaming poor scheduling and short staffing, but all I've watched her do is stand around and complain to her coworkers. When my food came out I asked a different employee for a fork (since there was none) and she told me to give her a few minutes (I like many others, require a fork to eat). Tighten up your hiring process or do better training! Food was bland. Pei Wei just isn't what it used to be, really disappointing, stick to Panda Express. read more

So, we have ordered from here a few times and every time it has been great! However, on this most recent order we were missing part of it. I went online and left some feedback because I wasn't "mad"...just a bit irritated. But, I wasn't sure if the driver didn't pick it up or if the restaurant forgot it because it is Door Dash that picks up the orders. Well, not even 30 minutes later a sweet woman by the name of Laurie who introduced herself as the GM asked me how she could make it right. It did turn out the driver didn't give me my drink. My husband and I went here just because we were in the area. Neither of us had ever heard of the restaurant. We were pleasantly greeted upon entry and received instructions on how to order. My husband ordered an orange chicken plate and he said he enjoyed it and would order from them again. While talking to the staff, we learned that they are a sister company to P.F. Food was edible. We tried several different items. Egg rolls tasted frost bit frozen. Wonton soup- that is not wonton soup! You don't make it like ginger tea with fried gyoza!! It makes me think you had left over gyoza and opted to put it in the soup! That's not even what the picture looks like. So many short cuts. The broccoli was molded and black on the bottom. I did not eat it. Items were forgotten from our order- though they were minor upgrades that were requested, however, I did pay for them. My husband said it was dead inside. Couldn't wait to go back... but what a disappointment ... and it was not because of the food. When we arrived there was one other couple there. I ordered and my daughter ordered. Then we waited and waited and waited. My food came out finally after about 30 mins and it was another 30 mins for her food to come out. So much for enjoying lunch together. We had timed it so the baby would let us eat, but by the time her food came out the baby was over it and she just took hers to go. Very disappointing because i had to drive an hour and 20 mins for lunch. I love the food, but i dont know that i will do that again. read more
