Hello, Let me just say this Payway has been in Cypress for such a long time and it has always been my favorite place. The customer service has always been an extra gratitude when I come in and get lunch! Recently, I moved from Cypress area, but I came back because I wanted to revisit the area. And I had lunch here the other day, the manager Jory was exceptional, and she proved that this restaurant in this location has the amazing gratitude and excellent service that everyone is looking for! Jory, the manager was helping me with my meal and she saw that I had points on my system, but I didn't end up using it because I accidentally paid for it before, but she was so nice and gave me a free appetizer and was telling me that all customers should be treated with the most gratitude, especially if they're a constant member of that establishment! The cookers and the management at this location are exceptional. I would give them five stars and the food is still good to have her! Please visit this location if you were at Cypress, I want to go Chinese lunch or dinner. read more

We were frequent visitors to Pei Wei for several years, but things started to drop (food, service) so we took a long break before coming back. Today we visited the Fairfield location again & were pleasantly surprised! The food was great (fire cracker shrimp/fried rice, lettuce wraps & spring rolls) and the service team was very friendly. The manager stopped by our table to check on us and the other staff cleaned our table as soon as we were finished. I think we will definitely be adding them back to our rotation of restaurants in the area! read more

UPDATE: Coming in a week later to edit my review. We went back to check our bank statement and they did NOT adjust our bill like they said they would. So we got charged for an order we did not receive. My review went from 2 stars to 1 star. This place is ridiculous. My boyfriend and I ordered Pei Wei delivery. Only one of our order got delivered and the other one was completely missing. I would give them a 1 star review, but when we called them about the issue, they were able to resolve it by refunding us for the other order, so two stars. Pretty upsetting though. read more

Wish this Pei Wei had better management. Maybe all Pei Wei's have declined, don't know. About 4 months ago we had a disappointing meal there. Thought maybe it was a bad day for them so after waiting awhile to return we ordered pick up for another try. Hubby said only two were eating for dinner which is a sad sign for this bustling area. He said his bourbon chicken became rice soup. Could not eat the rice because of the heavy drenching of sauce dripping from each bite. My teriyaki chicken was inedible. I spit out just about every bite of chicken because it was too chewy/rubbery. Either they have changed the quality of the chicken used or it has sat for hours on heat and toughened up. Add that to a bad take out experience in which one meal was missing several months ago, we are done. read more

We ordered lettuce wraps, General Tsos chicken, hot and sour soup and Mongolian beef for takeout. we live less than five minutes away from the restaurant. When we got home, everything was cold. The lettuce wraps had wilted lettuce. The soup had no flavor and was cold with chunks in it. The general Tso's and the Mongolian beef were soggy. The total price for the meal was $90. We ended up throwing out over half of it because it was so bad. P.F. Chang's puts this discounted restaurant to shame. No more Pei Wei for us. read more

Came here with my husband and had the worst experience. Our food took forever to come out even though the place had maybe two other tables with people and my food came out with black plastic specs. Same with the Beef & broccoli. $3.50 for ONE egg roll that was tiny, and no sauce. Lettuce wraps were so salty we couldn't eat them, and no sauce. Wonton soup had 2 wontons, and super salty. When we walked in, we were warned about the 30 plus minute wait we'd have to endure due to online orders--even though the place was almost empty. The unsweetened and sweet tea canisters were labeled wrong. When our lettuce wraps were brought to the table, no plates! When my main course arrived, it was the wrong dish. I had ordered Thai Crispy Tofu and got a shrimp dish. I asked for Felix chili sauce and never got it. The cashier was very polite. It is becoming increasingly easy to decide where to eat, by process of elimination. I am currently sitting at Pei Wei, waiting on my order. It has been 30 minutes- for 2 entrees. And, not even their super special monthly item- just 2 standard menu items. Update, it took 33 minutes for the kitchen to complete 2 standard entrees. The food is good enough. Exactly what you should expect. It's not mind blowing, but it is tasty. But FFS, for as long as it took, this should be life changing. I'm giving 2 stars because no one reads 1 star reviews. Coming out of the Houston Premium Outlets on a Tuesday afternoon, I ordered broccoli beef over brown rice Togo online order from the Pei Wei in Cypress (28902 Hwy 290). When I arrived a few minutes early, my order was there waiting for me. Later, when I got home, I had a good portion of brown rice and beef, but instead of broccoli, I had mushrooms. By the time I realized this, it was too late to call to complain, plus it would have been to far of a drive to go for broccoli. Other than the mushrooms (not a fan), the food tasted good and the portions were fine. If I go back to them, I will check my order. read more

I went specifically for a boil of wonton soup and I was served in a clear plastic container that is typically for takeout. Almost impossible to eat like this. My husband ordered the broccoli chicken. It was a much smaller portion than he remembered and was also served In plastic. Not sure what has happened to this restaurant but it sure has declined. Won't be coming back anytime soon. So disappointing because this used to be a great place for Asian cuisine. read more

We ordered a curb side pick up and upon arrival we text to the phone number as per the instructions they have, we sat there for 20 minutes but no one came to the car. Finally I went inside the restaurant and our food was sitting on the table. The Manager was very rude and said they never received the text, implying that I was lying, so I showed him the text from them that confirmed our message. Nevertheless our food was cold, the kungpao chicken was burned and tasted bad, the fried rice was very mushy. I have been to this pei wei many times and I never have this experience. Maybe they changed cook. Probably I will never go to this location for a while. By the way they charge a .25 cents for the text you sending them to tell them you arrived. read more
