I ordered the orange chicken today and I noticed it taste funny after four bites I cut into one of the pieces and it was raw!!! I told one of the girls there and she asked if I wanted another I said no just tell your manager she took the plate Threw it in the trash man and walked away. My food was good I had Kung pow chicken but my kids had teriyaki chicken that was not very good. It was breaded. They said the meat was dark but it didn't taste like dark meat either. I used to like this place a lot, but it has fallen below standard recently BIG TIME. The fabric on the booths is filthy, they no longer use real silverware (plastic forks really bring them a step closer to McDonalds) and the condiment table is always dirty and untidy. You will no longer find the chilli paste in the usual containers, but in individual disposable cups. Overall it used be really neat. Not anymore. I ordered the Dan Dan noodles with Tofu and my husband got the Shrimp Fried Rice (with brown rice). My Tofu was drenched in a thick chili soy sauce that was extremely over salted and very heavy. Overall, just a really gross sauce. Maybe it was just my bowl, but I wish it had more cucumbers and bean sprouts as there was only small amounts of both. I was stuck with the salty sauce covering my Tofu/noodles. This dish is also listed as spicy but there is no spiceiness to it at all. As for the Shrimp Fried Rice the brown rice just wasn't a good pick. Stick with white rice. read more

Every time I get a craving for Asian food I come to Pei Wei. It's like fast food with actual good quality. They have friendly and quick service. I love the chai and mandarin teas that they offer. I always mix the two it's so refreshing. The chicken and the shrimp are always on point and they don't skimp you. The kids love the food as well so it's a win win for me! The new salads they have are alright I'm not a big fan. They used to make the ahi tuna salad different and it sucks that they changed it cuz it was really good.... First visit and a little confusing walking into the door but once you figure out the menu (easy and simple) it's a breeze to order. The food was fast, hot, delicious, and presented well. Not pleased with my most recent visit. I ordered 3 entrees to be delivered, two out of the three were wrong. First off the lettuce wraps were great as always. Second entree was orange chicken, I request that the rice be upgraded to fried rice and I got brown rice instead (so much for paying extra) the chicken also had burned bits of what I'm guessing is tofu? But it was crunchy and wrong. Third order was Pad Thai I normally really like their version but in this specific order I requested chicken with no tofu and what I got was tofu and no chicken. The noodles in the bottom of the container were dry and crunchy all in all it was not very appetizing. I'm very dissatisfied with this order and probably won't be back for a long time. Great service and food. Ordered to eat here and the food came out like 5 minutes from ordering. The manager also came out to apoligize because the new cook tossed the noodle dish instead of layering and asked if we were okay with it being served that way or if we wanted a new dish [he asked this before they brought it out to us]. I completely take back everything I said. Not sure what happened to everyone who used to work here but this location needs to get it together. Friday was my 3rd disappointment at this location. Also my last time dinning here. First time- White rice fail. How is white rice not made correctly at an Asian inspired restaurant? Had to wait for "new" rice because they were out and I was apparently served the last bit. 15 minutes later I received my plate with rice that still wasn't cooked right. Am I being too harsh when this has never happened in the 6 years I've been eating here? Second night- I was served the wrong order and again, had to wait 15 minutes for a new plate. Got it when everyone was almost done eating. No problem there, it was the flavor of my dish being different from the usual. Not bad, just not what I'm used to. It even looked different. Third night- I just could not eat my favorite entree. When you eat something so often, you can tell when something is off. But this wasn't even the flavor, this was the salt. It wasn't horrible so I assumed the corporate sent sauce would fix it but the sauce itself was even saltier. HOW? Again, had to wait 10 minutes for a different entree that I didn't even touch.
