Not much as far as the restaurant goes, but the best take-out in Chillicothe. I miss the buffet, but they don't lack on options or flavor.

Olde Dutch Restaurant in Logan -- so many people hyped this place up that we had to check it out…read more It's buffet style with all-you-can-eat salad bar, soups, hot dishes, and pies. Drinks are extra, and there's also a small $1-2 supplemental fee added on, which felt a little odd since it could probably just be included in the buffet price. The food itself is very classic home-style comfort food with lots of options. Nothing super fancy or out of the ordinary, but everything tasted fresh and the buffet was constantly being refilled every few minutes. We also got the iced sweet teas, which seemed to be really popular since almost every table had one. One unique thing -- the entrance and exit are through the gift shop, and you also pay there at the end of your meal, which definitely adds to the old-school country restaurant experience. Our waitress was attentive and friendly throughout the meal, too. Overall, worth the stop for the experience and comforting homemade-style food while visiting Logan.

This place was hopping but somehow everything flowed smoothly. We tried a little bit of everything- chicken and noodles, salad, stewed tomatoes, asparagus, has brown casserole, pie, etc. my husband seemed to really enjoy their fried chicken. They also offer a menu you can order from a la carte. The buffet was so extensive that we ended up sticking with it. I only hold off on the fifth star because some of the food was over salted and/or overcooked (especially the veggies- asparagus, cauliflower, etc).

This is a buffet with some of the…read moretraditional prepared foods along with a Hibachi bar to choose your meat and fixings similar to a Mongolian stir fry. They grill it up with your choice of noodles and or fried rice and serve it direct to your table. In addition there was a wide selection of sushi rolls, rice wrapped and fried. With a variety of California style rolls, fish, shrimp, squid and others. The Sashimi also had quite a selection tuna, salmon, squid, seaweed salad and more. Overall there was a nice selection and all of the food was fresh and tasty. The servers www very pleasant and kept our drinks full. We would definitely try this again.

Why is everything deep fried? Ok, I may be slightly exaggerating and not everything is deep fried but I would say roughly 90% of the dishes are. Not good. This place needs some variety. Some greens even. Sushi: 1/10 rating. Once again, more than half of the sushi is deep fried. What's up with this place and frying everything? Additionally, a good chunk of their sushi selection had cheese. Now, if you were to find a roll you liked, I wouldn't recommend even eating it. That sushi looked like it's been sitting out for a couple hours. I stuck to the sashimi. Salmon was the only edible item. I ate about 10 saucer trays and noticed they stop putting any more out. Deserts: 3/10 rating. You're probably wondering how they mess up desserts if everything is just preordered. Well many of the desserts have been sitting out way too long much like the sushi. When I thought it couldn't get worse, I try the ice cream. Tried a vanilla and a chocolate cup. They somehow failed storing ice cream cause it was not solid. Ice cream had the consistency of sour cream and the chocolate tasted sour. Ambiance: 1/10 rating. You want to play janky covers of songs? Fine. You want to have a bunch of nonfunctional bubble fountains? Fine. But the guy should not be screaming the entire time. Why the F am I able to hear you at the sushi area from my table? They're not dogs. You don't need to be shouting commands at them. Service: 5/10 rating. Can't say I expect much from servers. You're collecting the finished plates and refilling drinks then that's a 10/10. Unfortunately our server forgot one and never once refilled our water. The other Tokyo Hibachi Buffets found in Beavercreek and Kettering are better. This particular one is definitely a pass.

Charred on outside still pink, went to the buffet and the waitress saw where steak was mutilated looking for cooked parts, did not eat any of it and went to talk to the manager, nothing was ever said, both meals came with backed potatoes which were served with a dollop of butter and sourcream, both potatoes were not even warm, so butter would not melt. We left the receipt on the table so the server would know our drunk order which was at our table when we returned. I chose fried fish, mashed potatoes, mac & cheese, salad and a yeast roll. Everything was good. The fish was tasty and the salad bar had a lot of options. They were hustling to keep all the items on the bar fresh. Everytime I looked, an employee was adding more food. But those yeast rolls were the best! Hot, soft and buttery. It was all I could do not to get a second one lol. For dessert I had a small bowl of banana pudding and a piece of coconut cream pie. The banana pudding was not the greatest, but the coconut cream pie was the bomb! If you are looking for a high caliber steak house, keep driving. But if you are looking for a decent buffet at a reasonable price, you found it!
