This restaurant offers Chinese/Japanese/Thai food in the same space where Asian Bamboo, a Chinese/Thai place, formerly operated. Might be the same owners? Anyway, I tried their chicken with broccoli lunch special for take away and it was pretty good! The rice was very flavorful, the chicken was juicy and the vegetables were perfectly crunchy and tasty. The accompanying egg roll was similar to those you'd find in any standard Chinese place-thick fried wrapper-nothing special. A side salad with salad dressing also came with the meal. They provided a prepared packet with a hot mustard, soy sauce, duck sauce and fork and the two staff members were pleasant. The interior has a good amount of seating and looks like it would be a comfortable place to sit and enjoy a meal. I'll return to try more menu items.

So happy they're open again. Everything was very fresh! Vegetables were clearly fresh and not canned or frozen like other Asian places I. The area. The sushi was excellent! Probably the best in the area. Also, have to give them major props for their pickup procedures during this time. Only one person allowed in at a time, and shield windows. It felt very safe to be there. Thanks Peking Toyo, keep up the good work.

Picked up a lunch Sushi & Sashimi special from Peking Tokyo this afternoon. It came with miso soup and a salad with ginger dressing. The sushi was super yummy!! The only stars I took off was for the soup and salad, I didn't enjoy the dressing very much as it didn't have a lot of flavor and the soup had a strange aftertaste in my opinion.

As the name suggests, Peking Tokyo is a new Asian fusion house in the Pine Watson Shopping Center in the heart of downtown Langhorne, PA. In addition to Chinese and Japanese elements, Thai cuisine is given a nod with a few curry and noodle dishes. I was there for lunch, and as everyone working there were speaking Chinese only, I was most interested in that part of the menu. I asked for their lunch specials General Tso's Chicken, extra heat, which came with a cup of soup (Wonton), small ginger dressed salad, and fried rice. I also had a mug of green tea (an extra charge, although not disclosed until the bill appeared). Everything was okay, but the only thing that stood out was the quality fried rice. It was freshly made with a higher standard grain, veggies and no dye. The soup was beef consomme with thick skinned wontons and decent filling. The chicken was plentiful and encased in a thickish shell. The sauce was tart as requested, with a few Szechuan red peppers in the mix. Particularly tasty when the rice was tossed in. The salad was from their sushi offerings - a first for me for a Chinese lunch and a nice touch, although I am not a fan of that ubiquitous ginger dressing. Service was fine, and the manager stopped by to check on my satisfaction. The sushi chef stood at his bar in uniform and at the ready. Peking Tokyo (Bangkok) is a step ahead of its predecessors in variety and quality from this vantage point, and as a new business it is still on its shakedown cruise. Hope it maintains high standards and is successful. Langhorne Borough certainly deserves that.

We have been looking for a great Chinese place since our favorite place closed, this place is great. The lady that took our order and rang us out was very polite unlike most Chinese places you call or go to and you feel as if you are an inconvenience. We ordered the combination platters of beef and broccoli and chicken and broccoli which came with a side salad and egg rolls. The brown sauce that is used in these dishes is very flavorful. Some places drown their meals in the sauce, but not here. We also ordered fried dumplings, and our daughter had the chicken lo mein and wonton soup. The dumplings were perfect, not too doughy and not dried out in the middle. The broth as well as the wonton noodles were also very flavorful. The prices are a bit higher than your traditional Chinese place but the quality of food definitely reflects the cost. All in all we will be returning customers here.

This place just became my go to for Asian cuisine. Chinese, Japanese, and Thai all under one roof. Little pricey, but it's worth it.

I have…read morebeen to many hibachi restaurants and felt "been there done that" too many times but 3 BFF's picked it and I went with the flow. Besides I am a local and have never been to this one and was looking foward to it. Based on the Yelp reviews I wasn't expecting much and lowered my expectations. But I have to say...in spite of the negative reviews, I was surprisingly impressed! We were seated at the Hibachi Table which seats 10. I ordered a sushi roll platter and hot sake. Everyone else ordered the habachi. I was squeamish when the chef put tons of butter on the fried rice and mixed veggies. A bit too much for my liking and was actually glad I stuck with the sushi rolls only. The chef did a few entertaining tricks as expected which is always fun to see. Portions were huge. I could not believe how many scallops were put on the ladie's plate next to me. The grilled shrimp looked incredible. But the standout was the steak. I tasted my friend's steak and it was Impressively tender and excellent. Seasoned perfectly. It was a Wednesday night and the place was doing a decent amount of business...not all tables full and once the animated group in the middle hibachi table left the place, got a lot quieter. But I understand it gets quite busy on a weekend night and is very loud. I like that my sushi roll platter came with both the miso soup and the salad. Many places now-a-days make you choose one or the other. I like both. My miso soup needed to be sent back as I like "hot" soup...it was luke warm. Once it was heated I thought it was delicious. The hot sake was very smooth tasting. It was a good house sake. The restaurant is larger than what you see from the street. It is located in a strange spot. It is across the parking lot from McGerks. There are a few business in the same small strip including a golf place. I can see people forgetting about it. ( I for one forget it is there). I do have one negative but not deducting a star. The staff was "not" engaging nor friendly. They were effecient and did their jobs however zero personality! For a local place they need to step it up in my humble opinion. After all it is a hospitality business. I almost felt like a habachi factory...too mechanical which is the main reason to add personality. (Hopefully this will be helpful feedback for the restaurant.) I am on the fence with 4 stars but the 4 of us had such a fun night and everything else was right on. Btw...there is a large front area for dining without habachi. I would go back for the sushi and I do recommend the hibachi. It is fun and the food was way better than most.

There were a few patrons when we arrived it was about 445pm on a Wednesday. We sat at the sushi bar where we prefer to sit as we can watch and interact with the chefs. There are only four seats at the sushi bar. We ordered a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc which always compliments the fish well. Another couple arrived and we had the chef all to ourselves for a while. The chef offered us four smallish tasting bites of fish and rice. A very nice start. We started with some Sashimi. Maguro, hamachi and salmon. It was quite good and fairly large pieces. The quality of the fish was very high. Next we got a few rolls - Mini sumo, eel lover and out of control. They were excellent and large rolls. Total $121. We tipped the chef generously. Neither my wife nor I recalled the food and service being so good. We will be back soon. Mark & Nancy.

The inside is nicely laid out and easy on the eyes. Booths, tables in the middle, sushi bar towards the back and private tatami rooms along the one outer wall. I had called ahead and reserved one of their tatami rooms. It was our first time in a room like that and we really enjoyed it! (NOTE: you have to remove your shoes before entering the tatami room so make sure you wear socks if that bothers you!) The service was friendly and timely. Our waitress took the time to go over their menu which had several pages of sushi options alone. They don't have a kids menu, but they were both able to find something they liked. My oldest had the Chicken Teriyaki that came on a skillet with a bed of steamed veggies and white rice on the side. He devoured it and asked for more rice. He allowed me to have a couple of bites of his chicken. The Teriyaki flavors were popping! Little guy shared a steak and shrimp hibachi with my wife. She asked for medium and it came out well. The flavors of the steak and shrimp were awesome, but the corn rice and veggies had a little bit of an off flavor and texture. Both meals came with soup - one miso which tasted just fine, the other a clear soup that had a delicious full onion flavored broth. I had the Volcano roll - $17 - eight - Shrimp tempura, cucumber w special sweet tuna salad outside and the Phoenix Roll - $18 - eight -mixed combo fish & avocado roll, top with salmon yellowtail & special sauce on top. The Volcano roll wasn't super tight, but I enjoyed the crunchy shrimp tempura and sweet sauce. Good fresh ingredients and flavors in both, Phoenix roll had a welcoming kick in the special sauce. Our friend had a Philly Roll, Shrimp Tempura Roll and a veggie roll ($7-$8 avg.) which she said were all good. We had a great time in the room and will certainly repeat. I'm not a well traveled sushi eater, but the menu at Tako was much more extensive (more fish varieties and combinations) than my usual Asian fusion spots) at a similar price so I'll be returning to try more options. The one thing I would recommend to their owners is a bathroom spruce up or thorough cleaning. The walls looked like an inexperienced painter took care of them and there were dirt marks all over the door. Having said that, it's great to have a fun dining option close to home! Thanks guys!!!

Been recommended to come here for sushi and finally decided to get food here…read more We ordered takeout. We really loved the salmon here. It was delicious and fresh. Literally melts in your mouth. The spicy crab sushi rolls were also really good. Some places tend to mess that up for some reason. And also their ACE roll was also really good. There's other rolls that I do want to try and I'll definitely come back for more salmon sashimi. Ordered takeout and it was ready within 10-15 mins. Restaurant looks very cozy, clean and nicely decorated. I would dine in there if I had the time. I think here and shogun go neck and neck honestly. There's things I like about Tako and I can say the same for shogun. Hard to compare the both but I enjoy both sushi spots.
