A hidden gem. We came here from out of town for our anniversary. We had many meals in the area but this one was the best. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love the ambience the food and the service was great and a bonus was the singer they had playing the music and singing for the night.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Go visit you will not be disappointed.

Amazing service and really great food. Started with the eggplant rollatini which is a MUST TRY. Also had the burrata which was prepared perfectly. Split the vodka pasta and Greek salad. It's cool that they have gluten free pasta too. I would probably not do the vodka pasta again-wasn't my fave. But the lamb was delicious as were all the other main dishes.

We had such a great dinner at Pelican Cafe! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The vibe is super cozy and the whole staff was beyond friendly from the second we walked in.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They start you off with complimentary bread and hummus which was so good. The food quality is impressive and the portions are huge. We ordered a ton: the burger, linguini with clams, and rigatoni bolognese were all delicious, and the flatbread and calamari were perfect for the table. Also, the chips, salsa, and guac were amazing. Everything paired perfectly with the drinks, which were 10/10. I also really appreciated that they didn't rush us. They were super intentional with the timing of when the appetizers and mains came out so we could actually enjoy each course. Such a solid spot, we'll definitely be back!

Pelican Cafe was quite delightful for dinner. The outdoor seating really proved to be a treat. The weather was perfect. It wasn't overly crowded and we weren't right up on the live music like they were in the dining room. We got to enjoy it with the doors open from a distance and not feel encroached upon. We didn't know that there was live music and it was actually fantastic. I enjoy jazz. The musicians were super talented and they played the often forgotten hit the year of the cat by Al Stewart. That made my night and tickled me. I love that song lol and it came out way before I was born. The food was pretty good. My only complaints were that the carpaccio was super small for what they're charging. And the sauce on the meatball dish was a bit sweet. But everything else was good. The wedge was really good. The swordfish was good, no complaints. It wasn't like special and fantastic, but it was good. The chicken piccata or franchise (I don't know which one it was), but it was enjoyed by the person who ordered it so was the fillet. The star of the night was that cinnamon gelato! Holy moly, not only did it elevate the tiramisu it was just perfect. It was perfect cinnamon gelato and I wish I could have it every day lol. On top of a very nice dining experience and atmosphere, the service was fantastic. The young man who was our waiter did a great job and he made sure that we had everything we needed throughout the entire meal. I had only been there for breakfast in the past, but it very well may be a regular choice for dinner in the future. Another review giving it to you, Straight No Chaser. Enjoy!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]What a nice restaurant to walk into indoor and outdoor seating with white tablecloth tables , very clean atmosphere which I loved and greeted at the door with a smile[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] .My waitress Rylee was very knowledgeable about the menu and explained everything as this was my first time here with my husband for brunch . As there were no appetizers on the menu , but the waitress did come out with 2 donuts they put on every table which was nice . I ordered chicken quesadilla and a pumpkin pie martini and my husband a blue cheese burger with onion rings and an egg drop soup ? which he did ask for calm chowder that was written on a black board for special for the day , we did mention it and my waitress apologized . I love the martini but the chicken quesadilla was very bland no seasoning to the chicken and a green sauce on side I didn't like. There wasn't much chicken inside . On the other side of the table my husband said his burger was tasty and onion rings . To me overall experience with food wasn't what I expected. This place was very pricey.

The food was delicious. In order of best/must try: Drink: Bloody Mary: homemade tomato juice and the hint of horseradish was perfection. Food: 1) crab Benedict- crab stuffed cakes with perfectly cooked eggs. The hollandaise sauce was delicious. 2) filet + eggs + grits. The perfect amount of grits that were creamy and delicious. The steak was super tender and eggs, again, cooked perfectly. 3) BLTA salad was super refreshing 4) Chicken + waffle -- it was okay. But take the chicken and add it to the salad-- and that was the perfect combo. Dessert: The Mud Pie was the perfect way to end the meal-- though thoroughly stuffed-- it was a top 5 of mud pies! It quickly became clear why the drinks receive high praise! They were indeed delightful and well crafted. However, my experience with the food left much to be desired. We ordered the Brussels sprouts, which were topped with a creamy sauce. Unfortunately, the dish did not meet expectations, falling short in flavor and presentation. I would rate them a mere two out of ten. Additionally, we tried the oysters, which were disappointingly bland. Even with various toppings, they lacked the fresh vibrant taste one hopes for when enjoying oysters. Regrettably, both dishes missed the mark for me so I decided not to order more food and go somewhere else. On a positive note, our server was exceptional friendly, attentive, and accommodating, which helped enhance our overall experience. The restaurant's ambiance was mature and inviting and its location is indeed impressive. Despite the high ratings and popularity, I found the food lacking, which makes me hesitant to return. While I appreciate the quality of the drinks and the warmth of the service, the culinary offerings did not live up to the hype considering the basic dishes I ordered. Go for drinks only!

The cocktails were amazing (the one with Desert pear and compari - i dont remember the name - was exceptional). We got the grilled carrots appetizer and clams. Those. Carrots. My husband got the BBQ pizza and was very happy - both for dinner, and for the next day's lunch. I got the chicken parm, and also had plenty for a large lunch the next day. (and the green beans that came with were also JUST the way i like them - not overcooked, garlicy, and delish). Zero complaints. Their bar, unlike most breweries, has a full liquor license, which means I can get a wide range of bevvy's if I'm in the mood as well, which I like. One of my favourite things about Stormhouse though, honestly, is the people! Penny, Santi, Michelle, and Brian, are all awesome, and the owners are always around and very friendly as well. If you have questions about the process of how they made their beers, they're happy to explain it. They also have events all the time, which are fun themed nights, and also something I wish more breweries would do. Whether it's a summer luau or a pirate night, the events are always awesome and a fun day/night. All in all, you can tell they really care about the quality of service, friendliness of the staff, and the overall vibe. I cannot recommend this place more highly. If I could, I'd give it 6 stars.
