Absolute garbage... This store is in Arnold, MO. I ordered 4 subs and it cost me nearly 50 dollars.. There were 3 people working and it took what seemed like 20 minutes.. The guy at the front taking orders looked either stoned or he just woke up.. I told him NO TOMATOES on two of the subs..twice.. I also ordered one medium Fry.. He seemed like he didn't want to be there. The guy making the subs was listening to hip hop songs with the lyrics of, and I quote "she sucked my dick", while my 14 year old daughter listened on... When the subs finally came out, and they called my order, the fries were not in the bag.. They offered to make some, but I was t about to wait 20 more minutes for medium fries. Besides, the guy at the order station didn't even put them on there... When we got home, one of the subs that I asked for no tomatoes on had tomatoes... The store itself was dirty, with open container drinks from the employees sitting next to the food prep area... Dirty work area, tables, floors.. Subs were bland and had very little meat.. definitely not worth 50 bucks. This was our FIRST TIME ever trying Penn Station.. It reminded me of gas station food. Looks like I can scratch this place off the list ..Ill re-post in a week to let you guys know if I developed food poisoning or not.. I actually LOVE to eat here! The only reason i'm leaving this review is for a warning. I came in tonight about an hour before they closed. The food was great (as always. However, the two people that were working seemed to clash. The manager, a young guy who was wearing a white blues hat was GREAT! He was probably one of the nicest and fastest workers i've encountered here. The second worker seemed to be the issue. He was a bald man who seemed to disagree with how the manager worked. He then proceeded to cause a loud altercation where he was very adamant to let everyone in the place know that he was mad and he didn't agree with the manager. Both workers apologized however, being in the restaurant industry he needs to understand that this should've taken place after we left or at least quietly. Even though the bald man apologized, he then proceeded to continue for the third time about the subject. This was after we decided to eat inside but as the bald man kept going at the topic we almost left to eat inside our car. Love the place! Love the food! Love the young manager! I am giving this place 1 star, but it deserves 0 stars. When I walked in, there was only 1 person ahead of me and they made me wait about 5 minutes to take my order. A man walked in and order after me, but was served his food before me. I waited 20 minutes for 2 sandwiches and 1 fry. My large sandwich had almost no meat or sauce on it. The fries looked old and crusty. The restaurant was dirty. The workers seemed to think it was social hour instead of doing their job by making quality food. So It was my 26th anniversary and we typically go out for subs because when we were just young whippersnappers we had no money so after getting married at the justice of the peace we ate at Mr. Subs. Hubby wanted to go to Penn Station as we have never been and he was thinking it was going to be a nod towards the types of hoagies we grew up with near Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. It is not that! But......it is a decent hot sandwich. I ordered the chicken teriyaki with the mushrooms and onions---he got the Philly Steak and cheese. I will agree that if you're re looking for a sandwich heavy on meat this is not a place for you. It is mostly bun.....I thought the onion flavor on my sandwich took over and I know that the onions I have purchased at the store lately taste "hot" it would serve the manager well to get some sweet onions. The fries were good---and not really hot which is weird when they are supposed to be frying them to order and I know they are because that is what we were waiting for when placing our order. They have Heinz ketchup and malt vinegar---for your fries..... The staff was young and friendly---- My husband and I really enjoyed the hand squeezed lemonade would have loved it even more with a shot or two of vodka in it but this isn't that kind of place so pack your flask if you dare. read more

Probably one of the nastiest sandwiches I have ever ordered. I've give them a try a few times getting different sandwiches but all of them are disgusting. The lettuce is soggy and brown, their mayonnaise taste like it came from the 99 cent store. Wouldn't recommend if your looking for a decent sandwich any place is Better than this one. Ordered a large Philly steak with mayo. Ordered the days special, a fried bologna sandwich with fries and a drink for the kids. First, sandwiches get delivered minus the fries and instead of mayo, I got spicy mustard on my steak sandwich. I reminded the waitress we ordered fries. I was so hungry I just thought the sandwich tasted bad until the third bite and I realized there was mustard on it instead of mayo. I just sucked it up and ate it instead of sending it back, which I now regret because it was awful. The special had about 3 thin slices of bologna on it. Didn't even fill my kids up. Finished the sandwiches, walked to the register and told the waitress we didn't want the fries now, you know, the fries we ordered but didn't get. She have a "huh oh" look and immediately ran and got us fries and threw them in a to go bag. I told her we were already done, and then asked what was I going to do with fries in a to go bag? She shrugged her shoulders and walked away. Would it have hurt to let me trade the fries for a couple cookies or something? Very very poor customer service. I will definitely never go back and I would recommend to anyone, based on my experience, to not go there. Never coming back to this location. Came in to eat at 9:15 on a Wednesday night and I even called and asked if they were still open, and they said yes, till 10:00.. I walked in and I could hear the employees talking to each other expressing how we were walking in so late.. I walked up to the counter and said, "are you guys closed?" And he smirked and looked at his buddy and said "no were open till 10" with a smile on his face. He stated, later, he was the 'manager on duty...' I ordered a chicken Parmesan and my girlfriend ordered her sandwich.. while waiting for our food the 'manager on duty' came up to me and said "the tomato sauce on your chicken Parmesan is going to be cold because we were out and I had to open up a new can.." this left me puzzled. We also ordered lemonades which were watered down with absolutely no ice. As we were waiting, a lady walks in and the workers react in the same way. The manager said, "we're closing at 10 but what would you like." smirking again at his buddy! Our food took forever... They finally brought the food out and he couldn't even tell us which sandwich was which. Then he realized he messed up and took them back. Then came back out, about 5-6 minutes later, with only my girlfriends sandwich. Which all he did was take the vegetables from my sandwich (chicken Parmesan) and put it on hers...you could still see the tomato sauce on the lettuce!! Mine came out about 3 minutes later and was cold.... I asked for my money back and he took forever in doing so.. This was honestly the worst experience I've ever had in a restaurant.. The female employee at this Penn Station has absolutely the worst attitude. She has awful customer interaction. She ignored us at the cash register and very confrontational. She walked away from us while being addressed and brought the order to a empty table - also left it there. I understand that people can have a bad day. But this girl made two "penn-station loving customers" - never to return. My advise, get rid of that girl - or lose more customers. read more
