    BLT, sadly, hardly any bacon.
    Angela G.

So we thought we'd give them another try! Absolutely will not go back to this establishment. Who advertises thick cut bacon on their BLT and doesn't deliver??? Penn Station, that's who!! My husband's sandwich was more like an LT!! If he wanted a salad sandwich, that's what he would have ordered. Sad, we only went there because our last experience was less than average, and they sent us free sandwich cards! No thanks!! Also, when the restaurant is that dead, clean your tables better!!

Not good. Bad service. Over priced for what you get. Jimmy johns and firehouse are much better. Buyer beware.

Food was good but way overpriced. Could have gotten more bang for my buck at subway.

We got water and tea, didn't order drinks but that didn't change their service, I think we had three different servers/bartenders and they were all great. Order the wings! They won the Wing Ding last year with their Honey Habanero BBQ grilled wings. We liked them at the Wing Ding and we loved them here. Just the right amount of kick and grilled perfectly. I would order these every time. I didn't want a large meal so decided to go with a side garden salad and House Honey Fish appetizer. The salad was good, lettuces, shredded carrot, onion, tomato, and croutons. I got no cheeses and went with house Italian. It was fresh, the croutons good and enough so that I took half for lunch the following day. The House Honey Fish was fried fish on top of chimichurri slaw topped with a Hot Honey drizzle. It was very good, the crunch of the slaw, and the fish was really good. I would probably leave off the Hot Honey next time, only because I don't like too much sweet. Hubby got Cajun chicken pasta and he enjoyed it. Busy spot but the staff seem to care about thier service and about each other.

We recently came here for the second time and met some friends for dinner. It was their first time…read moreeating at the Twisted Tavern. Everything our group ordered was delicious! What really stood out to me was the service we received! I really appreciated not being rushed through our meal. The fact that they actually let you order your courses separately so they're not coming out on top of each other was refreshing. And even though it was a Friday night and there were others waiting to get in we weren't rushed to pay our bill but instead invited to take our time. We hadn't seen or heard much about their pizzas, but we were in the mood for one and decided to order the meat pizza. It was made in a brick oven and it was really tasty. Honestly there were so many toppings that we ended up asking for an extra cup of the marinara sauce to dip it in. The sauce is made in house, it was delicious and the waitress said it's the same one that's used with the spaghetti and meatballs. In regard to the pizza size even though they're considered personal pizzas it was definitely bigger than we were anticipating. I would say they're close to 11 to 12 inches in diameter. My husband and I each enjoyed two pieces with our salad and took the other half home with us. They are definitely big enough to share, especially if you're ordering an appetizer or a salad to go with it. Our group very much enjoyed the artichoke spinach dip. It came with bread that had been cooked in their brick oven and I love that the spinach was in bigger pieces. My husband, and I also shared the harvest salad which had butternut squash on it, candied pecans & goat cheese. It was really yummy. Others in our group enjoyed the salmon and the crispy chicken sandwich. I had recently seen on a local Jefferson County page that many people consider Twisted Tavern the best place for a good piece of cake specifically, their wedding cake . Truth is that was the primary reason why I suggested this restaurant to meet our friends at but sadly by the time we finished our meal and were ready to order dessert they had already sold out. We were told this does not usually happen. Overall, we found tasty fresh food made in house, great service and fair prices. I am already planning another visit to the Twisted Tavern (so I can try their wedding cake! ).

Went in to the bar for late night drinks & apps. Our…read moreserver, Sarah, was amazing. Drink refills appeared like magic. Never once did our table if 10 have to ask for a refill. We ordered apps. Spinach dip, onion rings, fried pickles, Brussel sprouts, and aside of spaghetti. The brussels sprouts were nicely fried, a little greasy. The fried pickles were lightly breaded, but very salty. The side of spaghetti was large enough to be a full serving. Wasn't overly impressed with the food, but the service here was top-notch.
