Everyone at this location is really awesome. Everytime I go in the service, food, and atmosphere is excellent! Always fresh and the attitude of everyone here is very refreshing and vibrant! The food at this Penn Station location came out quickly and was very good. My wife had the cordon bleu and I had the Grilled Italian club. The service was great as far as food prep and getting it out quickly. The dining area was very clean and seating was typical but comfortable. My issues were one of the employees was loudly complaining about her dog. She was handling foul language as well as dropping f-bombs. That's not what I wanted to hear while eating with my wife. The restaurant maintenance or someone needs to clean their parking area. There is black mud accumulated right against the curb and two people stepped in it making their shoes nasty. It has been like that for a while now. Too bad we won't be back , mainly due to the rude employee with a potty mouth. Management needs to open their eyes to these type problems. read more

My sandwich was okay, yet I thought that the customer service could've been so much better. One person in front of me, I make my order for a basic large Italian sub on regular bread. Takes nearly 25 minutes to make my order due to the young, portly female manager taking one teenager off of making my sub due to him having to take a mandatory break, and inserting yet another employee to pretty much start over from scratch. Absolutely ridiculous. To make matters worse, the female manager spent all of her time talking with an middle-aged female that complained about having tomatoes on her sub. No problem. The manager inserts mad customer in front of me, and proceeds to make her a new sandwich in under 5 minutes. Me? Because they asked if I wanted mine toasted, it seemed as if the sandwich making process was never ending. To top it off, they couldn't even cut the sandwich properly. I've had better service and quality from a Jersey Mikes, Jimmy John's, Firehouse Subs, or Subway. I would recommend any of the four over this brand of sub. I will say that their fries are really good, yet that's about it. Extremely slow service, no courtesy toward other customers, so-so product. Will never return here. read more

I have a few things to say about this place first of all Jayden needs to get fired he got my order wrong, and when I asked him to bring me a side of cheese instead of redoing the order he slapped it down with a terrible attitude which made me want to pick up the slices of cheese and smack him across the face with them. Second of all I was planning on coming to penn station not the inside of a frigerator it's 57 degrees in this place I want to eat the food not experience how it feels in the fridge. On of the best Penn Station experiences I've had. Service was very friendly and helpful. They had our order ready quickly and came to check on us afterwards to make sure everything was tasting good. Food was great just what we ordered and the value was what I expected. One star was taken off just do to cleanliness of tables and floor, however, during lunch rush I am sure this is hard to stay on top of. read more

Extremely Slow service and you can't even call in an order ahead of time, because the phone line is always busy. I come back, because I like the food, but something needs to give on the slow service. Me an my husband just moved to G-town from Lexington an we love our Penn Station on Paris Pike in Lex. The good is always great the customer service is always great an most of the time my food is ready to pick up when I get there. A couple time an employee even walked my order out to my car cause I'm a regular an they know I walk with a cane an not great at it since I'm only a year outta the wheelchair but they are great to us an I love everything about that store. But I been reading the reviews about this Georgetown location an I can't believe I'm even reading about the same restaurant that I love so much just 15 miles south of here. This manager needs to be let go an put in a job more suited to nazis. She seems to have no ppl skills no care for customer service an no employee handling skills either. I pick this place over subway any day of the week but as of tonight I will not. There are 5 employees working and 3 of the 5 employees are not wearing gloves as they prepare the sandwiches. First visit to the new Penn Station in Gtown. The food was as good as any PS, as I expected. I had a longer wait than I should have. There were probably a dozen people for dinner (7:00pm) and I was the only to-go order. I assume they are still working out some kinks. I will visit again. read more

We have tried this location more than once and have not had a good experience yet. We are done! On our last visit, both sandwiches had some sort of seasoning that we didn't ask for. One sandwich was supposed to be turkey but was chicken. When we talked to the manager she assured us it was turkey but we have never had chunky turkey before at Penn Station. We have been eating Penn Station sandwiches for many years and have always had sliced turkey. I asked the manager to remake the sandwich she argued with me and then continued to talk about me when I left the counter. We will never visit the Georgetown KY location again. We attempted to contact the owner/general manager but never received a reply. Just shows you how much they care about their customers. The stores in Lexington are owned by different people and we have never had a problem, North Broadway is our favorite. read more

I ate there this evening, and it was absolutely wonderful! i am a regular customer there, and it seems as if the store is being brought together. employee wise, also with cleanliness. the changes i have seen since february are amazing. the new managment they have brought in since august has made the store more enjoyable. i would recommend this location a lot more than i would have 7 months ago. I stopped here with my family today. We don't eat out much so it was kind of a treat while we were in the area. We don't have a Penn Station where we live so it's kind of special for us. We placed our order and watched the next four customers behind us all get their food first. They were out of lettuce. They were out of cookies. They were out of kids for drink cups. Worst customer service! Hourly employees are rude and have no concern for their customers. They demonstrated this both times I have dined here or have tried to dine. First time, my husband and I came in 45 minutes before closing, got our food and were eating with 30 minutes till closing. Right in the middle of our meal along with 6 other customers dining an employee proceeds to yell to fellow employees "So glad everyone decided to eat here at the last minute" where then himself and the others began to laugh. My husband and I left with 10 minutes till closing, I felt we came and left in a respectful time frame, but the employees clearly showed they thought we and the other customers were intruding. Second time I didn't even get in the door. Sunday night at 8:00 I come and tried to open the door, it was locked. I check for a sign and looked at their posted hours. Only thing I found was they were open till 9:00 on Sundays. I proceed to knock thinking there was a mistake, where an employee at the far end of the restaurant mouthed "we're closed", not even having the decency to come speak to me. I then had to awkwardly mime and explain that the sign said 9:00 which he then proceeded to shake his head and mouth "8". No real explanation, I'm the customer standing outside obviously confused because the store sign says 9:00 and an employee is saying 8:00 and not taking the time to explain why my service is being refused. Best believe my husband and I won't be returning and really hope no one else experiences these rude horrific events like we have. read more

My wife and I visited the Georgetown KY location on 10/23/2017. The experience we had led us to vow to never visit this location again. I'm 27 years old and never in all of my years have I even sent food back under any circumstance. First off, we walk in and there is about 5 employees working and we are helped immediately. I assumed the lady helping us was fairly new as she didn't speak much or ask me if I wanted onions or mushrooms on my pizza sandwich(turns out, she was a manager). I assumed they came with it as it states on the ingredients that it does. I told her I wanted to add sausage. My wife said no honey mustard. We pay for our food and everything is going great. A young gentleman brings us our food and my wife's sandwich had honey mustard on it and mine had nothing but pepperoni, sausage and cheese on it. No sauce or any toppings. The young gentleman that brought our food came over and I told him our sandwiches were wrong and he asked if we would want them remade. I said, "only if it won't cause too much trouble". He assured it wasn't any trouble. Next thing I know, his manager sent him over with a bowl of onions and said he was told they won't remake my sandwich and that he was told, my wife needed to send her sandwich back. The second part I understand but I spent $33 on these sandwiches and refuse to eat what they brought me. They made us feel so uncomfortable about it that I was very polite and said I would prefer to get a refund for the two sandwiches only and I would pay for the two drinks and fry. He sent his manager (Kathy or Catherine) and she never looked me in the eye once, only down at the table as you could tell she was disgruntled. I told her what I wanted to pay for and she yanked our food off the table without saying anything and yelled at her cook to stop making my wife's other sandwich. We never became disgruntled toward this manager at any moment. Although, you could tell my wife was upset. My wife asked for a district manager or owners number and Kathy refused to give her a number. My wife and I left upset but never raised our voice and left quietly. I found a number to headquarters that I plan to use in the morning but figured I would have my wife call to get a number to the owner directly as to bypass bringing hq into the problem. A young lady answered and refused to give that information out. My wife hung up and this time, I called the store and asked for a manager. What Kathy didn't know was that I was recording the entire conversation for insurance in case she lied about our conversation. This time I said that she could either give me the number or I was going through corporate and it would involve a lot of unnecessary people. She said her GM told her to not give any of their information out. Not even a name. I interpreted this as the GM doesn't want to be bothered with the problem. I hung the phone up with saying, "call your GM and let her know that I'm escalating this to hq". I was never rude or foul mouthed toward Kathy. I have the recording to prove this. I honestly would have been completely happy with an apology along the lines of "we have had a very rough day and it's been busy but we are very sorry". I was and am not looking for a handout. I have worked as a manager for a while and I feel everyone should work in retail, food or customer service at least once in their lives to appreciate the people that do. I understand how it can overwhelm you but this was completely out of line. Instead of an apology, I received a phone call from the police department because Kathy filed a report stating I was harassing the store. My phone records will clearly show that we called them twice and both times we were cordial yet direct. We weren't confrontational at any point so this baffled me to no end. The officer was very polite and said I should refrain from calling the store and that the manager may have misinterpreted me when I said I was escalating the issue. I'm appalled at how bad the customer service was at this location. I'll never visit this location again. At least not while she is a manager there. The food is great but this experience has ruined it for me. I only hope someone in upper management with Penn Station will read this review and actively take a role in making sure this never happens to anyone else. read more

This review is based on service and the way issues are handled as I did not even get food with this particular experience. I placed an order using their online app and the store claimed to never get it. I was given no food and no refund. It is now going on 5 days that I have not had this issue resolved in spite of being told multiple times by the store manager and various people at their corporate office that it would be handled. My biggest issues are a) they have had my money for days in spite of me receiving no food and b) everyone I have spoken with claims someone else has to handle the issue. Oh, and perhaps the biggest issue is that through all of this the store hasn't even bothered to just offer to give me the food I originally ordered to see if that would satisfy me. If you look at my reviews you can see that I am fair and positive and would not take this sort of review lightly. But this is not only poor customer service at the store level but also at the corporate level. I'm very disappointed. read more
